My favourite bands live are magnum and madina lake...oh wait, thats because I've only been to two gigs. :P

Magnum was epic though, doing an unplanned acoustic in the middle of the set due to technical difficulties :D

I only like one Muse track, and that's Supermassive Black Hole because it was on FIFA 07 :gawe:

James Blunt, Mika and Matt Cardle through and through =D

You're a brave person to admit that here :P

Also, Matt Bellamy's vocal range is terrible- a castrated mouse could hit higher notes than him. Hence why Muse is awful.

BOT: MCR is...ok. I'll listen to them occasionally.

I don't know if anything big will become of this TX, but I'll be willing to try my hand. You can have Mr. Flibble at the least. :P

Agreed with nearly everything said, though I think that the showcases should be modded more by the creator of the thread rather than the mods- it would leave the mods to concentrate on other areas of the forum more as they would not have to spend time deliberating over what is "spam" and what is "harmless derailing".

Otherwise, everythings A-OK in my view. Good luck Nar, may the banhammer be with you in moderate amounts :D

EDIT: The own showcase mod is probably a meh idea, just remembered its only playground you can mod your own threads. Plus it would probably be too complicated, and some people might get power crazy in their own showcases, which would be funny (but create more drama for the actual mods). I'll just leave it up there though.

I thought I'd join the cool band of peeps and restart SS. Atm I've just got the 3rd badge and my team consists of

Lv 22 Golbat
Lv 21 Gastly
Lv 20 Scyther

Other than a Kingdra or possibly Flareon, I honestly have no idea what else to have. :P

I wash my hair wish conditioner every night =D

Whilst we're on the subject of showers, anyone else here use conditioner, or am I the only one?
No, because I'm not a metrosexual candy-ass.

Is having soft hair a problem to you?

You're good troll bait, smashy.

How about adding ability to add all packs in the game at the same time? Or any1 could Combine all packs into 1?

Go for it, its not diffucult, just time consuming. I spent an hour or so combining Pys, Starcore 4, BBEANS and Inf AI a while back. NC's way is more convenient though.

The belt would mean I would have to move the motors back, meaning a possible loss of wedginess with more weight at the back...but who knows. Perms are an extra 10 or so kgs anyways, and E-teks seem to do the trick nicely.

Its not bad, and its helpful in a wedge war in an open arena as bots can just launch themselves out on the skirt xD

Been toying with more gut ripper type ideas, this one partly inspired by my first showcased bot (Stock) and DSC's SW entry, and S_M's drill.

Meet the ideal gas equation (yay revising while building bots), pv=NkT. 6 ants, NPCF, plastic 3.

Things to be done-
  • Narrowing the chassis, even though this would make it less potent against flail SnS.
Align the drive, because it drives terribly atm :P

I'm also thinking about changing the BB's for something with higher piercing, but its surprising how quick it can maul bots just with those. The back trapper is handy for OOTA's, or just grinding the back of bots casually. Could also be trov glitched if required. Any other ideas?

I'm more worried about the VS, CAs made for ripping stuff like SnS apart. Though if I do fight Ion now, I've just jinxed it. Yay. xD

Ty, S_M, and SKBT are my choices. I'm well and truly screwed against most of these bots, especially S_M's and SKBT's.

Oh nuts, its you first. May the best wedge win...which is bad for me lol xD

S_M, SKBT or NFX to win for me. Though Conraaa and Urj are close too, in my opinion.

Discussion / Re: Idea - 'The Chassis Market'
« on: October 31, 2011, 04:01:27 PM »
I think its a fair idea, but the DSL bit would generally be what S_M posted- there a probably hundreds of different bots with that very chassis. Most non-standard bots have a custom chassis made by the builder anyways.

Giving out a pre-made chassis for a 36hs or Psyc Popup would also take out 1/2 of the building skill in stock.
