Hopefully you're going to use the fixed Flextop and not the one that pivots.

Turning off hazards makes it not flop all around.

Oh I am so entering a Homer Simpson bot if this gets approved.

Rules don't look to bad, but the havok rule doesn't seem specific enough. Will there be a penalty for havok at all or will it be for show?

I wasn't going to have a penalty, just run the match again.

I assumed that tournament had a gimmick in making circular bots, or donut bots

That'll be the sequel, Donuts of Destruction.

So I want to run a tournament.  It'll probably be a disaster, but hey, you never know.

Game: DSL 2.1
Weightclass: MW
Realisticness: DSL-Standard
Arena: FlexTop, hazards off
16 entrants
1 v 1 matches - 3 minute limit
Single elimination
No cheatbot parts
No BFE, Hax, or whatever other crazy nonsense

I can do AIing, but feel free to send your own line if you prefer.
Bots can be updated one time after submitting them.
Havok explosions will result in a match reset.  Matches which end in a havok will only be shown if they are particularly amusing.
I'll enter with Dirty Dan:

Robots must be submitted by by 2 PM (UTC-05:00) on March 20th.  If there are not 16 entries, some robots will get a bye for the first round.  There will not be a byebot.

Entry list:
1. Thrackerzod
2. Avalanche
3. Pizzaguy2020
4. Tibsy
5. P3PSI
6. RedAce
7. Kurt Wylde
8. RammingSpeed
9. Badnik96
10. ty4er
11.
12.

Sorry about my cursor being visible, I thought I had disabled that.

My abilities include renaming controls, copying AI lines from other similar robots, and changing the "nose" value.  Should be good to go.

12 years of Robot Arena 2.  Wow.

I think that's a fitting tribute.  Here's the robots, if you were wondering:

I worked really hard on this.

EDIT: I AI'd them and had a fight just for the heck of it.

Can I host?  I think I'm competent enough.

That's a good thought, but I think it'd be too heavy.  I'd have to sacrifice some irons or something.

VS looks to be AGOD-free.  Thanks for the link, by the way.

One day is long enough for a DP right?

Here's the VS:

Before you ask "WHY THERE IS BALLAST?", this robot is really really bouncy, so I stuffed a ballast in there, and that fixed the issue.

At least I don't need smartzones to AI this one.  I'm gonna work on the skin now, since they have the same chassis, it won't matter which design I actually go with.
