SIGN-UPS HAVE CLOSED! Thanks everyone for entering. Due to the sheer numbers, we've had to change up qualifying.
Qualifying will use the 51 bots in qualifying and 29 robots from reserves.
Robots will fight in 1v1s in a bracket format.
Round of 80 -> Round of 40.
If you win your Round of 40 fight, you're into the main competition.
Reserves picked will be announced soon so stay tuned.

Right folks: been a busy day of looking through entries and I'm still not done yet! People who have sent their entries through GTM: do not panic, I will be looking at your entries first thing in the morning! Lots of great entries so far though: I'm hoping by this standard, OW4 will be the best series yet.

Are Bildschirm's IRL Drums allowed?
I'm happy you asked! After testing, the IRL Drums built by Bild seem to be good with no errors so they are a late but awesome addition to the OW4 series!

I won’t be as lenient this time" Granted, while this is in the 6 typhoon rule, it's a bit cheap and probably won't be accepted over other robots. Just so you know. Aside from that...Bad Habit is probably my favourite of your 3 bots. Breaking Point looks good with the tribar supports but not a fan of the teeth setup. Really don't like the front of Ocram, you could give the robot a baseplate by taking off 2 of those ploughs at the front.

Need to AI this but I cannot work out how to do an axe and lifer off of different smartzones.
Either they both fire or none do, so I am obviously doing something wrong.
I love this showcase so goddamn much. If you want to have multiple smartzones then OmniMultiZone.py is your best bet...I can send you the file for it and help you use it if you need!

Weird ruleset IMO but if it works for you go ahead chief
If I restricted everything then it'd be a bit silly: while other parts don't have restrictions doesn't mean that I won't allow robots to spam them (like a certain 9 Gothic Axe Sit N Spin robot  ) and Minion/Mini-Minion Discs are no-go parts too! The ruleset was discussed with a variety of people so I'm hoping it holds up decently!

Made an amendment to Rule 9 with new limits for Ripping Teeth and Mechavore/Microvores:
9. We have limits for certain teeth/weapons.
Typhoon teeth: 2 Large OR 4 Small for a Vert, 4 Large OR 6 Small for a Horizontal, no typhoon drums.
Ripping teeth: 2 Ripping Teeth on any robots
Mechavore/Microvores: 1 Mechavore or 2 Microvores.
3 weeks till sign-ups start!

Would I need to switch out the top armour at the sides of the flipper for panels for it to be legal?
Surely you could use triangle armour plates instead? Ok what's the deal with Typhoon teeth or whatever. I'm very confused.
9. Typhoon teeth are now limited. 2 Large OR 4 Small for a Vert, 4 Large OR 6 Small for a Horizontal and typhoons on drums will probably not be accepted. Also added some more info to Rule 15 and added Rule 21. 15. Configurations Bots are limited to three different weapon systems. The main chassis of the robot (armor, drive system, etc.) should not change between configurations. You are allowed to use weapons that your other entries use but each config must be a different weapon type. You MUST also include a list of what config to use for certain robot types!21. Wedges/Wedgelets attached to Axle Mounts/Free Hinges are banned due to messing with physics. These axles/hinge types are fine for decoration however!
