This is my first time really reading one of your articles.
"I like it" is an understatement and a paragraph of rectum snogging just looks bad, so have whatever this sentence is and consider it a compliment.

steel 10 ? really ?
Dude I have no idea what to do with the weight, and I don't really want to end up with a cruiserweight because no one builds them.
You can drop it down to ti3 and change those steel extenders to the back to aluminum extenders, fiddle around with the DSL bar sizes and try and bring it down to a middleweight. You also don't need 6 ant batteries for it- 3 or 4 is enough. You can also mess with wheel selection and pick something lighter than slipperbottoms with the same diameter. Or you can just make it a cruiserweight and be different. Not building a type of bot because no one else does it is a poor excuse to not do it- No one else builds that crazy shelled crawler hammer... thing that you've done, but you did it anyway.

man I suck at building for this lol
edit: okay I have a bot... sort of. I say sort of because the rules on the steam garry's wars member page conflicts many times with OP and I'm not sure if I'm in the correct rules or not.

I always had a sort of gut-ripper popup idea for dsls that used drums for the gut-ripper part.
The drums would be flush with the chassis wedge (up and back diagonally) and the popup part would go in the middle between the two drums. The drums would spin inward.
I couldn't ever figure out how to get it to work properly.
a shell spinner/doom dreidal would be awesome too.

Obviously tombstone I mean he's probably the most powerful horizontal spinbot in battle bot's history I mean the thing can slice a bowling ball for God sale how can you complete with that but my runner up is bronco because again the most powerful flip bot in the competition right now. And they both t.k.o'd their opponents in less than 3:00 mins like wow...
with out I don't see many people who could stand up to tombstone. I'm thinking Icewave and Bite Force. Aaaand that's really it.

Probably going to get some flack for this, but I hate nets. They're an unexciting way to win, and anyone can just buy one from Home Depot, so what's to stop everybody from using them against spinners?
Usually a rule. But there wasn't any.
They should've put like a tire or something in there, something ring-shaped and flexible. That would've done the trick just as much.
You really think a tire would stop it completely.
if the bar gets stuck inside of the hole, yeah. He could've also tried to do a and jam a length of something past the blade and into the little gap behind it, that would've worked too.

Meh, don't listen to them.
okay because like tzeentch, cegorach and creed have been eyeing that spot in my signature that [redacted, no pones] is currently inhabiting. anyway I don't remember how long you've been gone but there's a dood named Sic working on the ye olde 'what if someone here made RA3' idea before we caught wind of the real RA3 mccoy from scoutmaster gabriel himself. Called Scrapmatch. Plenty of content in it already and it's worth a wook.

I didn't think it was possible to flip nightmare over like that. Or bully Warhead. Watching those minibots getting splattered was awesome.
The battles were fantastic though. In the battles after the initial ones I'm hoping they shorten the team bio's (because we've seen them now, not necessary to see them twice) and fit more battles in.

pyramid of quotes
I tried to be extremely specific about how Razer looks putting all those adjectives before 'crusher' to try to distinguish every other crusher from razer while still trying to describe the drawing of chomp (a bot that I've never heard of and therefor can only go off of the beautiful drawing rendered in 1080p that was there) Essentially, I was trying to say "How many other bots look like that drawing?" Saying "The bot in the drawing (Chomp) looks like that bot in the drawing" doesn't help you at all. I guess instead of wedge-y I should've said 'cone-shaped', because while all or most of those robots have a wedge, very barely any of them are cone-shaped in the way that razer is. Is this the end of the bashing? Between standing behind my words and knocking heads with respected members, there's a conflict of interest.

bump as if i give a give a rip
hey so like does it matter that the end hammers are shorter? If it doesn't, since they don't hit anything anyway, can you attach them lengthwise and get some extra width just in case?
iirc I rotated the end hammers a bit so they do hit. they're just there because I couldn't fit another 2 bigger hammers. edit: no I didn't, shut up me

this reminds me of when I tried to do the whole story thing with actual ra2 bots and LDAI.
except this was the first, and far, far superior.

This only adds to the clutter, but this bump is almost as old as ra2 itself. I can't help but notice that.
