No they see it, they just don't care. This isn't ARC. If you notice, the people who comment on 3d designs are usually you, me, Badnik, Mystic, and Playzooki, and we comment on it because we're all on ARC. Even Thyrus made the wise move of going to ARC to show off his stuff to people who's thing are 3D modeling not showing it to a forum which was brought together through a game, not 3D drafting.

And it's not like I haven't tried to do something relevant as of late. I did have some rather nice renders of some of my ARC machines and other things in Maya that I thought might be of interest, which I've since uploaded here. The only response I got was along the lines of "we don't care".
The thing is, although it is relevant as such to the theme of the forum, and we have very strong links to roboteering and such, this is still an RA2 forum - and it always will be. So relevant in one sense, but in a stricter sense, not really. Hence your uncaring critic.
Well, what about Kurt or Thy and all the other ones who do more or less the same thing?
Kurt builds, runs, and enters tournaments. Thyrus is an IRL legend and just finished TA2.

Dude. Rep is messed around with those that have it generally to those that have it. Anything else must've had some kind of reasoning - even if it's seeming a little moany about the system.
It's really not too hard to gain respect here and I thought you of all people would know that by now.
STEPS TO GAIN LOTS OF RESPECT
1) Don't lash out.
2) Contribute in valuable discussions.
3) Actively build.
4) Run a tournament.
You say you don't care but you continuously complain about the system, even going as far as feeling the need to insult those who defend it - and only last week I actually saw you defending homosexuality on Facebook rather than using it as a way to insult. Just chill out.
Alright. I was too harsh there, and for that I apologise. But I honestly don't see what there is that's appealing about it. One day, everyone hates it and wants it gotten rid of but has to put up with it due to there not being a means of removing it without it affecting the rest of the forum, and now everyone loves it as soon as it's established that there is now a way to remove it.

This is an RA2 forum, not a sketching forum. Not everyone cares about your drawings. 3D modeling doesn't earn you props around here.

So what I got from this fight is that Avalanche still can't build IRL. Helloface has gotten a bit better at building but stull can't skin. And the fact that this topic has been getting bumped so many times these past 2 weeks ended up in a dull fight.
