I see your point, but then what is the tool most fitted for discerning truth, if it is not reason ?
Observation. While human observation is very selective and by no mean pure, it is as close as we can get. The more the observation is processed, the more assumptions it needs. How true the final result is will depend on how closely the assumptions match with the physical world. Personally I stop associating my reasoning with truth entirely. I just use it until it stops working. Labeling a reasoning as "truth" offers no additional benefits and makes the thinking process rigid. The most dangerous trap is "the more you think about something, the closer you are to the truth". If reducing assumption is the goal then surely more reasoning is not the way.

Rationality is overrated anyway.
You claim this as an intellectual ? WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY ?
I am not an intellectual. I am just someone who is out of touch. Rationality becomes overrated when it goes from a tool into a virtue. It becomes socially dictated and rigid. Rationality so over-hyped that hardly anyone care enough to look at it's limitations. Then you end up with situations where 2 sides argue at each other about how "rational" they are without realizing that rationality does not == truth. If you pay close attention to the thinking process, you will notice how many "assumptions" it take to believe in any given believe system.

Or more precisely, the cold, rational and uncaring Neutral Evil sort, not the Stupid Evil of course (though sometimes i am, sadly)
The fact that you "wannabe" evil is a good indicator that you are not. When you are evil you don't really have to think about it. You just feel warm and fuzzy inside when you do something other people find really mess up. Your list is actually very popular among today's generation. It is actually more rare to find someone who actually give a rat about other people nowadays. Rationality is overrated anyway.

Can we add teams to this?
Nope. I will build all of them for the time being. I don't want to complicate this anymore than it is for the initial release. You be surprise to find out that building team is easier to manage than receiving teams, especially when the whole point of the mod is to be small and organized.

Lol guess I won't touch anything, and just omit the bots using perm 80/twm.
I don't think people want another re-balance mod, seeing as how NAR AI wasn't that popular after Naryar modded it.

Lol this is harder than I thought..... Some types are just not good at lower weight class, but I still need to build them somehow.
And without the NAR AI motor HP change the amount of usable weapon motors become quite limited.
How many people would care if I rebalance TWM and Perm 80's HP to the current NAR AI version?

# Realistic rule DOES NOT APPLY
Awesome.

Lol light beater + DS light is almost always better than iron, except in situations where losing one weapon results in bot not working.

Well, even if you intend to build all the bots yourself, doesn't mean we can't give you some inspiration if you need it.
I take it all the bots will be fairly unique? (given that it is you :P)
You see the thing is I am much more lazy than Naryar, so there's no way I will take on something as ambitious as he did. Community mod is a lot of work, and I am the last person you would want to take over that. I do hope someone will take over NAR AI if Naryar decided to stop working on it. Of course, it will be best if he sticks around to do it himself.

A CHALLENGER APPEARS
...nah, like it'll be a challenge. :P I'm too lazy to make any AI pack at the moment and 123 is better than me.
So this is basically like a modless NAR AI, not only good, but top notch ?
I was thinking more of a showcase in bot type than anything. So instead of searching for a VS, you can just open up team "Vertical Spinner". I don't know about it being top notch, I don't really have that in mind. I intended to build all of the teams. I am not sure how to include community contribution without ending up with many many overlaps. This is not intended to be a replacement of NAR AI in any way. In fact, I will send all the bots here to NAR AI.

The front hammer will be better mounted vertically if possible.

Any chance of this getting updated? Some of my bots there feels so outdated.

*not trying to provoke a flame war* but I didn't know average n00b bots could take down bots in heavier weightclasses made by "pro" builders. But thank you, for making sure I have no reason to feel good about myself.
Dude VS components are indestructible in first blood, thus which bot wins is quite pointless.

Being aware of feelings in another is very different from experiencing these same feelings.
But more importantly, neither or them are direct link to "caring" about others, or sympathy. A sadist for example might empathize with his victims and enjoys the pain he inflicts.

Well I was using this definition for empathy http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/empathyEMPATHY 2 : the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner; also : the capacity for this

The razors need to be lower for more startup time.
For the VS, use NPC Normal with micro wheels.

Empathy is the capacity not to read people's emotions, or not even to understand them, but to (even if empathy is different from sympathy IIRC) with them and feel the same emotions as they do. AKA caring about their happiness and/or sadness, something I cannot do without valuable reason for example.
Lack of empathy => basically not caring for others => no more morality problems in your way when you want to manipulate people !
Empathy is understanding others feelings Sympathy is caring for others feeling, after knowing about it To manipulate someone successfully requires empathy. A con man need to know what their victim is thinking to set them up. He just don't have the sympathy to feel bad about it. So while a lack of empathy will result in not caring, their ability to manipulate will also be nonexistent.

I am pretty sure I am a lot more Narcissistic than average.
Oh, you are not the only one who is convinced of this...
Maybe they consider narcissism as having an OVERLY INFLATED opinion of yourself, and I know you're smart enough not to have.
Here is the description from DSM4 A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
(4) requires excessive admiration
(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
I never know narcissism involves the lack of empathy. How can someone both lack empathy and still be 6 (interpersonally exploitative) at the same time?
