You can make any robot spin on the spot. All you have to do is wire all the drive wheels Clockwise to turn one direction, and Counter-Clockwise to turn the other. Even a sixteen-wheel-drive bot could turn on the spot.

I've watched them, yeah. I liked Albert Einstein vs. Stephen Hawking for some reason.

bots never get close enough to hit the extenders and how would i get the chassis to shrink only hal a square on the grid rather than a full one ? will i need to use the trov glitch ?
Uncheck the "Snap To Grid" option when you're making the chassis in Step 1.

I need some help with my Mute Replica...
How I build the Flipper? ._.
I turned a copy of the Skirt Hinge into a Burst Motor, to use on front-hinged flippers such as Mute and Firestorm. You could go down that road. Or you could use a Judge Burst with some clever attachment methods or BFE.

I'm giving the rubber wheel a try. I've just got the second AP pointing the wrong way. Apart from that it seems to be fine. =) EDIT: Got the Rubber Wheel and Vlad Wheel done, both have been PMbomb'd. Quick question though, what should we do with regards to the second AP on wheels that have a hollow center, like the Techno or Overkill?

Nicely nicely. Some pretty good detail on that logo as well.

Sounds great. I reckon that's really gonna shift the balance back towards realistic building in the sense that DSL was originally designed for. Are motors gonna be a bit faster/torquier to compensate at all?

Typically, I can understand that. But it's a bit of a sensitive topic for me- only had it since last May, you see.
Ah, I see.
Anyway, why are you on GTM at 1:40 am?
Because I've lost control of my life.
Fair enough. GTM > Sleep.
Sleep wastes valuable fun time.
Haha.
God, I have a terribly dirty mind.
My girlfriend does this to people. It's a bit concerning that you're getting it third-hand.

[For threatening to kill kill if he didn't remove his ban. Or something along those lines. Then doing a u-turn when he found out kill was the one who banned him. Either way kill permabanned him, which was probably the right thing to do.
Agreed. Normally I'm not one to bear grudges, but I'll never forgive him for those comments he made relating to my Diabetes.
Nothing said on the internet should be taken seriously. These things should be ignored and forgotten as soon as possible, in my opinion. Not worth getting angry over.
GIFT Theory. Give anyone an audience and anonymity, the chances are they will turn into a dick at some point.

I'll be honest, I'd sort of forgotten about him until Garvin had mentioned him.

Most likely the former. Only slightly more badass, I imagine.

The front lip was just a sharp-edge guard, not actually used in combat. It is close to as fast as the real one, it's impossible to put car steering on something that small, but it's still more than fast enough to flip itself when it crashes.
What you could do is wire both motors on one side to go forwards, and only one on the other side to go forwards to make it go in either direction. The downside is you'd need a seperate pair of controls for steering while reversing.

You know you're too far into a relationship when your girlfriend refers to you as "minion". =P
lol submissive
I'm too nice for my own good. I've sort of known that for a while. That's why I'd probably be quite crap at moderating.

NO WAY.
I just saw an advert on TV for this! =D Clickbeetle is going to be psyched, there was this roach-shaped bot in the ad with crushing mandibles dragging a mehcanical carcass around the arena.
