Discussion / RA2 Metagame?

Metagames are any game which doesn't use a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game, if there is one for a basis.
This is the RA2 metagame.
Part mod, part tournament, all awesome.
Basics:
The tabs (Wheels, Weapons, Power, Extenders, Extra and Mechanics/motors) get scrapped. Each is now a tab containing several components of each type, containing their own advantages/disadvantages.
The tabs are now teams, and building a bot means you have only ONE tab to use parts with.
Teams:
Super Stackers:
Weakest and heaviest everything (compared to AJ's stuff) , but this is the only team where the realistic rule doesn't apply! (Based on stock.)
Average Joes:
No advantages, and no disadvantages, all components are balanced. (Based on DCL3.)
Elemental Maniacs:
Have elemental components (Flamethrowers, those shocking components Man Manu made...) but at the cost of the normal weapons (Irons, Maces) strength. (Based on ROFLAI)
Hard Hitters:
All spin motors are super powered and weapons deadly, but LOW HP and heavy weapons. (Based on backlash.)
Slice and Dice: Burst motors and pistons are powered heavily at the cost of Variation in components. (Based on Ubermod.)
Super Powered: Batteries and airtanks are the best in the game, but all mechanics are weak. (Based in DSL2, and the Ant batt debaucle.)
As for the metagame, there is a grid map. Each square has an arena accociated with it, and each turn all teams make a move. The fleets (Made by players) take a territory, and if contested, fight in said arena.
Possible arenas:
Combat, BBEANS2 (Stock HW version) Redzone, Bridge of doom, Octagon, Eletric arena 2 (Some may change)
The goal is the be on the winning team.
