Alright, since BTTB V was "pick either of the first two bots", I'll throw this up here too, just in case:

Anyway, real robot:

I like Mega Heavyweight.  It's like in pokemon.

I'd love to contribute, but I'm not really very good at Ironforge (check out my showcase).  It'll be a while before I get back to my computer, anyway.

It does look kinda like Butterfly Stink, actually.  Maybe I should get better fonts.

I didn't make the steak.  Sorry everyone.

This was kind of a last minute entry so very generic.  Originally I was gonna cover the splash wit little quotes about obvious flaws in the bot (empty space, uninspiring paintjorb, etc.) but it just ended up looking kind of tacky.

I like that second ranking system, where I'm number 3.  Anyway, here are my votes:

Favorite match: Crush? Vs egapmaR.  Not exactly the most exciting match by itself, but it proved to be the start of Crush?'s reign of terror.

Best design: Spinny Dinny.  It's a competent fighter and good-looking design based on a jokebot I made.

Favorite bot: Crush?. C R U S H B O Y S

Bad luck: Donno who to vote for here, actually.

Best rebuild: Heelie Razer.  I got lucky with Cube Crusher, as the original bot had a chassis that was already fairly well-suited for combat.  Geice could easily have messed with his bot's fairly unwieldy shape, but didn't, and he won matches anyway.  Very impressive.

(Typed on phone, excuse any weird autocorrects please.)

Wow, so I got a spot on the title screen?  Nice!  I'll definitely check this out once I'm back at my computer

420th post celebration!  Behold:

It has 8 10kg hammers and drives by firing the pistons on a certain side.  It can also do a jump move by firing all the pistons at once.

That's weird.  Try using the print screen key, then pasting into your image editor.  See if that works, or if it is still blank.

You can take screenshots with the F11 key.  The images will appear in the screenshots folder.  If you want to make a splash, all you need to do is load up the images in some sort of image editor, and smash all the good bits together.  You can add text or whatever too, if you want.  Usually you'll want to show at least one internal view, so we know what's going on inside the robot, and the robot's weight.

if the entire goal is to survive as the LW, wouldn't everyone just coat the thing in casters and make it an indestructible brick?

Yeah, that's why the tiebreaker would be LW fight.  There'd be an advantage (maybe) to having some sort of weapon on there.

Okay, so here's an idea what I just had:

Everyone would enter a LW and a HW.  For example, let's say that me and Pizzaguy2020 enter.
My HW would fight his LW, and however long the match took would be recorded.  Then his HW would fight my LW, and again the time would be recorded.  Whoever KOs the LW faster would win the round.  In case of a tie, the LWs would fight each other, and the winner of that match would move on.

Anyone think this sounds interesting?

Full thoughts:

1. Neat design, splash seems a little bit messy.  I think RedAce made it.
2. "We can cook it with a hammer."  I think RedAce made it.
3. As I mentioned earlier, I like the robot, but the splash gives me a headache with the spinny thing and see-through stuff.  I think RedAce made it.
4. I don't think that's a real quote from the real Ronald McDonald.  I think RedAce made it.
5. Spash is kinda blah, with the gray rectangles and all.  I think RedAce made it.
6. Cool design for a stock VS.  I think RedAce made it.
7. Spooky.  If this was October, it'd have my vote.  I like the bot, too.  I think RedAce made it.
8. Butterfly Stink?  Seems alright, but kinda generic. I think RedAce made it.

Lots of entries, some pretty good ones in this.  6 is a cool design, but 7 is pretty dank.  3 is also neat, but the splash kinda gives me a headache.

hi tz your bot is wicked unstable

I've noticed.  Turning is not really its forte.
