Where'd you get Photoshop legally? I assume it's legal.

Are you really that dumb?

Your video card (or its drivers) is too old, and doesn't support the required OpenGL version/extensions.

Call your ISP and ask how much would they charge for a static IP.

What does AutoHotKey do exactly?
A simple scripting environment with the added bonus of being able to bind global hotkeys to predefined actions.

I'd write a kernel module to intercept keyboard input (inb4 there are user32 calls to do this), but AHK works fine, too. :D

Alright, question: I've tried reading Homestuck a few times, but each time I can't go through Hivebent (Act 5 part 1), because it bored me to death and annoyed me to heck and back. Words of advice, anyone? Do I have to go through it? Is it really worth it?

What makes it special? Is it the single player or multiplayer (if it has one)? And what part of it? Is it more fun than portal?
It's the single player mode (there is no multiplayer, well, there's HL2:Deathmatch, but that's just throwing toilets at each other with the gravity gun). I'd say it's on par with Portal 2.

General Support / Re: GMF compiler problem.
« on: August 13, 2011, 06:04:24 PM »
Alright,
a) which compiler are you using?
b) compilers, or any software for that matter, don't 'think', especially don't think everything is a ramplate. Please describe your problem more precisely. What are you doing? What is the effect? Are you sure the problem is isolated to the compiler, and is not a case PEBKAC (problem exists between keyboard and chair), eg. you're selecting the wrong file?

is it worth getting?

Yes, very. If not the whole saga, just play HL2, HL2:Ep1 and HL2:Ep2. You will not regret it.

Team Fortress 2: They make so much money off of this retarded piece of crap that I'm in awe. I've been around people who are batsh** crazy and   desperate to get HATS.  :realmad( hats, are you serious? You're all gay, every single one of you.
> implying everyone cares about hats

The gameplay is just as imbalanced as CoD, and   they can even spawn kill you. Any game where you can be spawn killed: automatically a bad game because the developer didn't take the time to   keep the game fair.
I'd say TF2 is very well balanced - each and every class has its pros and cons, and there is no 'main' class.  Maybe your bad experience was due to playing on heavily modified servers - either on sh**ty deathmatch maps, >24-player servers... Or maybe you or your team just sucked. It happens, just give it another shot, find a friendly server, play around a bit, and most importantly: remember it's just a game, and don't rage quit because some scout F-a-N'd you.

Guess the car although its easy to cheat.

oh lawd, that is so kickass

That's as much of a stereotypical 70's-90's polish car as you can get. And most of them were red, too :D.
(also, it's spelled maluch, not maluich :P)

General Support / Re: Swtich a BMP for a TGA?
« on: August 10, 2011, 08:54:27 PM »
I don't have any RA2 installation at the moment to base my theories on, but I'm fairly sure some components already use transparent textures (TGA?), eg. the disk extender thing. So yes, it should work - you may have to copy the texture and material settings from a component using transparency to the one you're trying to modify though.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Fraps lag
« on: August 10, 2011, 08:52:01 PM »
It can also be influenced by your HDD. If you have an old, badblock-riddled, sector-relocation-filled, barely alive disk, the write speeds will be ridiculously slow, and so will be FRAPS (as it tries to commit to disk as often as it can, in order to keep the RAM available). I noticed this when upgrading my system HDD (where the fraps recordings were saved) from an old Seagate to a shiny new WD.

I'm considering making an official GTM page so we can control what goes on there...
Don't. Sometimes people just want to talk off the record, and making a page official and controlled will probably make people leave it and find another way to communicate.
Not to mention, you shouldn't try to regulate what goes on the internet, as you will fail.

On windows I ALWAYS use Media Player Classic.
MPC uses directshow filter-based codecs (like WMP). VLC uses built-in ffmpeg codecs. However VLC also uses a hardware DirectX output module, but it can be changed in the settings.
