Have you done any BFE to these bots? But its sounds more like a lack of Robot designs folder to me.

Most of the time double wedges are superior- they are preferable where a bot requires wedges to be effective. More wedge hp, and double wedges make it easier for the bot to flank if necessary.
If a bot can function with or without a wedge, and you want a wedge, a single one is better as it is easier to break.
Long single wedges can also sneak between two wedges to win the wedge war- this is why I use overlapping skirts for wedges over small wedges for a double wedge. I get that same crash- I think its down to the bindings or individual bots, as all I've done to this particular copy is changed bots in the first two teams and AI'd them.

DSL HW, MW, and LW DSL tournament arena, hazards off. 3 minute matches Standard dsl building, no hax, AAM. Major BFE not allowed, minor stuff like chassis height and name editing is ok. No cheatbot 2.
