Venko, Goose is hard-pressed for time. I'm sure any suggestions are appreciated, but in the end, let's be grateful for what he is able to do...

Pap, can't get your link to work.... Most damage 1 minute? I have, and have seen, bots that are pretty consistently lethal in less than 15 seconds....

if the change is radical then i agree, but if things are minor, like i've been fidding with my wedge layout for instance, I don't think that would be a problem (although i've come up with nothing, its still pretty uneffective) but if i had added a wedge to a wedgeless bot, per se, I would agree that this kind of change should be dissalowed quote] That's true, Barbie. I just don't know how one would define and monitor 'minor' changes. Once someone knew the competition, 1 change in the tactics.py could adapt it to compete much better....

RS, I like the idea of sometimes having a 'Freak bot' contest.... You'd probably have to come up with some simple parameters...

Great job, Sage. Having personally seen some of your other work, I'm not really surprised at how good this clip is. Looks great.

CB's running this Tourney. But I agree...Once you've seen all of the other entries, it's not really fair to be able to tweak or mod afterward.

An Underdog with victory in his hands...Couldn't even begin to pick a winner (esp in this small, obstacled arena). But I would guess either a VS, HS, or FBS. But FS look mean too.....

Nice bot, SD. Does its skin match its Bear claws?

I's still having a problem with the game crashing during Tournament levels on the Compressor and Ocean Platform arenas. Huh, that's weird. Joe, if you pm me I'll show you how to fix it; only 2 numbers.

SB, Inf is being more frank than me. Your bot will not last long in a tourney. The 'wheels' will get quickly removed, there's way too much wasted space in the bot, your weapons system is very weak and will be disabled promptly(3 arrow tips:shock:), ..... But you've got time to work on it before BBEANS5....

It will also be my BBEANS 5 entry.... with practice, you can learn to use the wheels as a weapon.... SB, Don't forget that your bot will be AI-ed in touneys, and not User controlled.

Cool, CHD. That's great. It's nice to see others contributing to RA2. I'll be sending you some bots soon... Maybe ACAMS will link you up. Maybe Goose will have more time free......

Luigica, your bots were a work of art. It'd be great (and helpful) to have them shown again...

Well great job, MV....for your 1st bot. You might lower the chassis to make it lighter and invertible. Nice bot, Venko. Well built(weapons and armor), efficient design, very nice skin and splash.

S-32, They're advice is accurate. If you're just building unique or various kinds of bots then that's fine; but for tourneys/competition you'll need to go with efficiency.
