I think we should stop asking and just let him get on with it. I think it's fairly clear he's going to stick to his weekly group splash plan, I think it's best we wait until he gets back to the computer and sorts everything out.

What rock have you been living under? =P
The Moon
In the cosmos, there is no such concept as "under". Up, down, forward, backwards, left and right become meaningless.

...okay, you can stop now.
Well played, GF. =D
And judging by what I've seen, they've got more Pandas in Scotland than there are Conservative MPs at the moment XD
That's mostly due to the AV method we have up here. Most of the time, you do end up with a hung council, with no single party holding a majority. The tories are somehow the third biggest party, after Labour and the SNP. Lib dems got absolutely decimated, though, they went from around 20-something seats to 3, largely due to the farcacle coalition government down in Westminster.
Don't become independent until your Labour voters give us a proper government XD
Well, the way things are going, it looks like it could be Labour again next time around. People seem to like Ed Miliband for some reason. I have an extremely hard time telling the difference. They all look like upper-class imbeciles.
i dunno, we MIGHT have a liberal PM
A Lib Dem Prime Minister? After the coalition government? What rock have you been living under? =P

Welcome to the boards. =) Hopefully you'll stick around, build a few things, and enjoy your time here.
We've got seven official weight classes at the moment:
The three you get in the game, Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. Two sub-Lightweight classes, Antweight (0-125kg), and Beetleweight (125-175kg) Superheavyweight (800.1-1200kg) and Ultraheavyweight (1200.1-5000kg)
Recently, Enigma submitted a bot into Nar AI that has been classed as a "Gigaheavyweight", which I think is 5000.1-10000kg, but that's a bit too much for anyone's standards. And it will probably take four weeks to finish a three minute match. Personally, I think what we've got is enough for anyone.

Nah, the games .exe prohibits it. Two heats of four. Either the winners fight, or the last remaining two go into another rumble.

News of the UK Local Council Elections.
In one of the Scottish councils, the Liberal Democrats, widely regarded as the third largest political party in the country, polled fewer votes than independent candidate "Professor Pongo", who can only be described as a man in a penguin suit.

I think it looks about right, at least when it's down. It just looks too long because of where the axle on the burst motor is. If it was built from a hacked skirt hinge, perhaps, then it might work.
Would it look better if the whole wedge was the top of the chassis, and it was all built at a bit of an angle?

I think he does, yeah, he set them all up in the AI folders as to which heats they took part in.

You can still move forwards and backwards with a 3WD bot, just wire up the two motors that aren't perpendicular to the direciton of motion in the same way you'd wire up a normal 2WD bot.
Turning speed compared between a 2WD and a 3WD bot with the same motors comes down to wheel choice. a 2WD bot with Technos will have a very slightly higher turnspeed than a 3WD bot with Hypno Wheels (2.3 x 2 against 1.5 x 3), and you do save a lot of weight with it for weaponry. However, you do pay the price with stability, and fewer arms means the opponent is more likely to get in towards your vulnerable chassis and wheels.

iThink it will bw flae weite 124 or les
I'm naming my next bot "flae weite". Though I still haven't made a bot to represent "Moggot Soup".
Man, I love it when ACAMS drinks. So inspiring.
Son of Gaff Square Blade Front Four Wheels. A AW BOTM might be quite interesting, though, given the tight weight constraints. There might be quite a few different entries as we all try to make designs that work.

Yeah yeah. Everyone's alive, everyone breathes, there's no alternative besides death, so that one's alright. However, I shall be as different as possible whilst I'm alive, simply because it's fun to stand out
So is there any reason you don't run around naked while covered in purple paint? I don't think anyone has done that.
I'm fairly certain that would be breaking some sort of law.

Very nice indeed. Only slight gripe is the spikes on the wheels, would Grannies be a better choice? Or are they too large?

Alcohol fuels ideas. Like those guys who stole that penguin in Australia.
Shame I don't drink, I'd probably have won about 20 BOTM's if I did. =P

I don't have facebook. So nyah. Looks pretty cool, though. Maybe could be slightly clearer, try saving as a .PNG rather than a .JPEG next time. And try not to use colours like the yellow on silver there, it's very hard to make out. More contrast is better in that situation.

Has anybody else recently noticed Scourge discover her sexually perverted mind?
I recently noticed, yeah. Sorry about that. =P
I wonder what's provoked it all of a sudden...(I may have some idea, but wouldn't really want to think about it...)
Yeah, that's......more or less the joke I was going for. ............ Been cycling recently?

Oh, you're in Northern Ireland, aren't you? That might have something to do with it. My girlfriend's at a Catholic school, and she's the only non-Catholic there. From what she tells me, it does sound like they can do whatever the hell they want to. Do they actually use religion as an excuse to work under their own laws, or am I describing it wrong?
