Very sleek. What's the drive, slimbodys?
NPC Fasts. It's pretty zippy. Internals are a nightmare though. It's all just crammed in anywhere it'll fit.

So I was pretty happy with the design of Exodus (The purple front hinge flipper) and decided that with a few changes it would make a fitting addition to the Bocuma series. This was the result. I added some wheelguards and made the chassis shape a little sleeker and less generic looking, and obviously switched the colour scheme. In order to fit within the weight limit I had to switch  a lot of panels though, now the front is now TI instead of Steel and basically everything else is aluminium.

And here's how the series has progressed over my time here:

Welp, I don't see myself going all the way T.T

Btw, those hinged wedges are for bots like Enceladus. Since we didn't know what arena it would be, I didn't want to chance losing to flippers on arenas with low walls.
No need to worry about that as Enceladus' wedge is utter sh** :P

Here's a new on. Heavyweight with a super underpowered drum, but a very strong drivertain. Had to use Tazbot wheels unfortunately as all smaller ones didn't touch the ground properly and all larger ones didn't look any good at all.

Key Features:
  • 798.3 KG
  • Steel front, Titanium top, bottom and rear armour. Aluminium sides.
  • 4X NPC Fast drive
  • 2X TWMR weapon power

Exterior:

Interior (from below, and almost completely disassembled):

It has just barely enough battery power to get through a fight, but it performs pretty well in combat and I'm happy with the appearance. Any feedback and advice to improve it is more than welcome.

Chassis is super oversized. Why is it so large?

God I love that SHW. It looks like if Poison Arrow took a LOT of steroids.

That slightly off angle angled extender on the hammer head triggers me.
sh** I didn't even notice that. Glad you called it out or I'd have sent it to Yugi like that.

Yeah that looks great now. A lot cleaner. Has the flipper performance improved now that it has 2 bursts?

Some parts are a lil messy but it looks neato. It's underweight even for a cruiserweight though so you may be able to get another burst in there (If you switch to 2 mediums instead of 1wide medium like you have now [as far as I can tell] you should definitely be able to, and should see a notable increase in weapon power.)

they look really nice but you need a wayyyy bigger image bro we can barely see them
The vast majority of them have been showcased earlier in the replica thread so you can see them in detail there.

Tried this.

I'll try to move the panels more into the robot, but otherwise, it looks better.  Thanks.
That looks better yeah. Those sides will probably help prevent stuff from getting under you in the inevitable flipper-fest that the tournament will be too.

Added the ballast. Can't help but feel like it's a bit of a waste though. Any other suggestions for what I can do with a spark 40KG?

Put 2 20 kg ballasts in the front  :P
I'm not sure I even have room :D

Decided I wasn't happy at all with that one after having another look at it so I went completely back to the drawing board. Here's what I came up with.

Key Features:
  • 756.5 KG (Hella underweight and this is with Steel 10 chassis armour. I just have no idea what to do with the weight though. Any advice is welcome)
  • Steel frontal armour, Titanium underside and top armour. Aluminium sides.
  • 2X NPC fast drive
  • 2X VDMA bursts for weaponry

Interior (Again sh**ty for the same reason as the last one):

Tried to make an entry for Yugitom's tournament and it sort of went ok but also sort of went horribly wrong.

Key Features:
  • 797.9 KG
  • 2X TWMR2 Drive
  • 2X VDMA front hinge burst pistons
  • Titanium front, top and side armour. Aluminium rear armour
  • Ridiculous length

Pics:

Exterior:

Interior (This is the best shot you're gonna get unfortunately as the bot is a complete cluster**** and the top and sides can't be removed without taking off like 40 other things):

Ended up kinda looking like the purple predator from RW Series 3. I don't know whether to think that's a good thing or not.

If you select the attachment point on the back of the 10cm square extender (instead of the default) then it'll stop it from melting when you make big chains.

Interesting, thanks Kurt I'll have to give that a try next time I feel like sorting Nightmare out!

In the mean time I'm prototyping a new batch!

- Overdrive 2.0, Ringmaster & Wrecks

I actually built Overdrive around the same time as Chomp/Brutus but didn't/still don't feel it's on par with the other replicas I'd made.

Strangely enough, The Ringmaster is currently the title holder of my test replica mini-league winning all 7 of it's matches by KO.

Wrecks OOTA'd itself in the first round.
I love Wrecks <3
How do you crank these out so quickly and with such consistently amazing quality? Bloody ridiculous.
