I had a stab at a 48-mace HS a couple days ago. It didn't work. Might try again.
But if you're trying to get 4 razors on each DDT, then you should try eFFeing as you're joining the extenders on. I did that with HaleStorm 3, which seems to work. =) 12443

It was 'utilising its surroundings'. The thing is, I don't mind bots occasionally putting opponents in the pit, but not when is pushes its opponents into the pit ALL THE TIME.

1. Attach the extenders and razors to the DDTs like I showed you
2. Put the ramplates on the front like in the first one That should make it a much better bot. Incidentally, what do you have on the other side of the bot where the motor should be in that pic? 12445

Ramplates should definitely be at the front. In fact, try and two more on there, you've got more than enough weight. Or make it 4 wheel drive.

Axe-Awe being flipped out of the arena was excellent.
I have to say, one of my least favourite bots was probably Tornado. I know I'll get flamed senseless for saying that, but I didn't like it when it eliminated Gemini in the Fourth wars, and I didn't like it when it won the Sixth wars for being too big to fit down the pit. Judges should've given Razer than one, in my opinion. 12447

Yes, that must be what happened. My first bot was Altitude.

Looking back at some of the general discussion that's been going on, am I to take it that we don't have to rebuild it exactly as it was originally, we can tweak it a little bit and improve on the design?

Do you? I tried that once and it didn't work. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong.

Stock Showcases / Re: GF93's long-overdue stock showcase« on: May 02, 2010, 08:06:33 PM »I put the extra battery in there as a means of making sure it runs effectively, as well as to prevent it overbalancing and lifting the rear wheels off the ground Remove the battery at the front. =) Also, I've noticed that in the bot lab, as you're selecting the height of your chassis, if you slide the slider all the way down, then slowly move it upwards six clicks, that is almost exactly the same height as the Z-Teks, so that would make your bot invertible, even with rubbers. 12454
Stock Showcases / Re: Sparkeys showcase« on: May 02, 2010, 07:51:52 PM »
Okay, Sparkey, here's what you do:
First of all, take the first extender on the DDT and mount it sideways, like this: _ X Put more extenders on it the same way, make sure the connection points all face upwards, like this: _____ X Then you can stick 8 razors on that setup. More damage and such. =) Also, do the Snapper'd Z-Teks not wobble around when you drive? 'Cause I tried something like that and the bot was all over the place. 12455

Spiderbait? I might tweak it a little bit before I do, maybe I can get the legs working a little better. =)

You've still got a good 65 kg to play with, try sticking a couple of ramplates on the front for some protection.
