Gulfstream: Br-Brother, why did you join the other side? Yea looks well armoured, basically Black Dog from ARC But not invertible
Gulfstream is technically invertible and is AIed as such, though the weapon hits the floor and and only the rear wheels touch the ground so the bot loses about 95% of its effectiveness

TIL Gulfstream is havoky. Never had that issue myself. Hope it doesn't prove to be a pain in the arse when you're recording.

Another new one. This one's yet another front hinge flipper. Pretty happy with the appearance of most of it, though the underside panel is an abomination and it's rather underweight (770KG with all panels being steel and a steel 10 chassis, though said chassis is only 1x1). Dual NC fast drive, s battlepacks and 2 ants for power, 1X storm burst motor for the flipper and not one but TWO AERIALS. Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Has anyone tried skinning hex plates yet? Digging the look, but the color change with the hex bugs me.
I agree. How's this look to you?

Aaaaaand here's another one. Haven't made an HS in a while so I figured I'd do one. Went for an angled disc this time. Another custom disc though drastically less cool and study looking than the last two. Armour is 100% titanium so it's bloody sturdy, Tornado Mer gearbox for the spinner and a slow mag snapper for the srimech. Dual NPC fasts for drive. Comes in at 797.9 KG with 2 black batts and 2 ants Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Oh wow, custom disc looks great and robofog looks awesome. Loving the color too and the glowing eyes.
I stand by what I said in that this is one of my favourite robots that I've seen someone build on RA2/DSL etc ever! It's so creative and cool, I'm a massive fan of the eyes/clamping face and I hope to see this in action soon!
awwwwww <3
Wow thanks guys Hope to see it combat myself soon too. It's a surprisingly effective spinner killer with the Ti wedge and all those spikes.

Another one. This one was very much influenced and inspired by a certain other member here. I wonder if you can guess who Drive is 2 NPC fasts so it's pretty fast actually. Wedge, sides and top armour are all titanium with the rest being aluminium. Clamp is powered by a medium VDMA R/P. Srimech is a slow mag snapper. 11X typhoon spikes in the jaw and a spiked club on the thwacking tail for weaponry. Fairs pretty well at killing spinners. 4X battlepacks and 797.7 KG weight. why are you driving unreal cerberus yourself
It does not have wheels the touch the ground, and I had a problem with his blades spinning, any how there was no point it not, it's just the saw spinning the whole time, By the way, how much did you watch?
The Wheels do touch the ground, but however I expected either one of these problems occur: 1. The Bot was mainly built in pure DSL 2.2, so it could of been likely that the Bot file corrupted when you transferred it to your "hacked" DSL (I need to ask what version your DSL "hack" is at. DSL 2.1 or DSL 2.2), due to me possibly using stuff like the IRL packs or comportment freedom. Or for an unlikely reason 2. You modified the bot yourself for an unknown reason and motive, which I have to remind you that this is against the site's tournament host rules to modify a bot heavily like changing the design or weapon without permission. But at the end of the day, you can do what you want for your tournament as long as it in the rules.
this is your third bot already do you still not understand how wheels work
Pretty sure this is on asbestos, Dark-AI saying"the wheels touch the ground" is evidence to suggest asbestos just incompetent.
Dark Al does have a history of making bots with wheels that don't touch the ground properly. The same thing happened in Shield's tourney

Jeez robo slow down. Your plate work and angles are top notch. Loving the vs w/custom extender ring. Hammer bot needs something, maybe just looks too boxy in front. Top work though.
Well whaddya know, here's another one! Another custom VS as luck would have it. Happy with the blade but not much else about it to be quite honest. Perm 132 for the weapon, 2X black batts and 2X NPC fasts for drive. Pics: Exterior: Interior: As for the axebot I definitely agree with you about the front being rather boxy. I tried to slim it down and make it more interesting while building it but I couldn't get the angles to work out properly when I did that. I may come back to it at a later date.

Maybe 2 wheels with more powerful motors would allow you to fit more batteries in it?
Any motors larger than astros either clip through the angled panels, or through the bottom of the bot unfortunately

On another building spree so here's another bot. This one's a MW axebot called Seraphim. Small VDMA R/P for the weapon, 4 wheel drive astros for drive. 6 ant batts isn't really enough to get it through a full fight but it's all that would fit (Both in terms of weight and physical space). Weighs 398.9 KG so there's no room for any extra stuff but I'm pretty happy with it apart from the lack of power. Pics: Exterior: Interior:

Here's yet another CW. This one is a spinner. Perm 80 for the weapon, and 4 wheel drive TWMR drive. Named it Hedgehog because of the spikes all over the back of it. Whole thing except the underside and disc is titanium. 1 black and 1 ant for power. Pics: Exterior: Interior:

I dunno what to say. Curly Wurly actually ****ing did it. Bad luck to Orc in a fight that he really should have won, his bot was way superior, but my ridiculous luck somehow struck again. I'm facing Doodle next up. Should be an interesting fight.

It's a shame that the first one can't do sh** because it looks fine as hell.
Yup. I've still got it saved, so I may try dropping it down to a MW by switching out some of the panels to aluminium at some point. Might be effective at that weight class.

Was in a building mood today so I made a new bot. This is Breakneck, a CW rear hinged flipper. - Weighs 590.8KG
- Mostly Ti armour with a little aluminium on the top rear and the bottom panel
- 2X TWMR2 drive
- 1X Storm front hinge burst for the weapon
- 3X black batts for power
Pics:Exterior: Interior: EDIT: Turns out that version could barely even lift a CW so I made a version with a Wide Medium VDMA instead of a storm burst and a lightened flipper. Bit less cool looking but it actually functions now.

This is really exciting. The STD and the Mini beta look super cool and both sound like they'd be really useful. Great work AS. Excited to see how this pans out

Here's another crack at a DSL IRL Heavyweight, the end result turned into a combination of Tornado's frame with Season Two Bite Force's Weapon Setup and a police car themed paint job which gives us;
"Cardiac Arrest" - Vertical Bar Spinner
795.8kg Weight
x4 Slimbodys (Drive Motor) x1 Perm 130 (Weapon Motor) x4 WP836E Batteries x1 Ax2250 Control Unit

How you have the patience to do this stuff is beyond me.
Whenever the bot builder starts to irritate me I take a sip of Pinot.
I'd die of alcohol poisoning if I did that personally :D

Holy **** man. The wings and the dome shaped spinner are insane. How you have the patience to do this stuff is beyond me.
