I'm unsure if anyone's actually seen I have this new bot. :| It's been a while, loads of people have gone into the DSL showcase section.. but.. eh.. as far as I can tell there's only been 8 new views, 4 of which mine.

Aura won't be my "team" AW, this will.  This bot was very interesting to make - the previous version before this one weighed under 100kg with spikes. I could of went up to 5mm Steel without going past the AW weight limit. But I needed speed, so the Hypnos went on, traded for "just" 3mm Aluminium.

I'm gonna guess the chassis is inspired by Peer Pressure? XD Well, it started off as a replica of the original lego bot I made. After a few failures trying to get the JX burst motors to fit, I tried to make just a flipper with it. then I got to this popup. Kinda does look like Peer Pressure. Except it.. well, PP kinda fails doesn't it?

Guys.
You may have noticed that the votes have gone to 5 VS 1.
Well I deduct the NO! votes from the YES! votes.
So the REAL scoreline is 4 VS 1. That doesn't make sense. If you keep deducting the no votes from the yes votes, you'll have Negative Infinity vs 1. I guess I know what you was going for - the difference between yes voters and no voters. It's just 4. 5-1=4.

 Only thing I can say here is well... I haven't seen another BW popup around. Maybe in Naryar's AI pack there's one..? Also I hate making DSL splashes. The gradient background in the bot lab is annoying. Probably spent more time removing it from the screenshot used in the middle then the actual splash itself.

Well, we can't bash it for being weak. You might be a little short on battery power there. Hopefully those are NPC fasts, but that means you really need more power. You have a bit of space to shorten the chassis without the spikes touching. That should save a bit of weight. Maybe you could give it better armor with that extra weight. (Since you say it's DSA, yeah, definitely get better armor.) Infact, that's it. My next HW will be a 600 KG bot that beats 800 KG opponents. If you're cocky, do a Dynamo. Build a 175kg bot that beats 800kg opponents. It kinda defeats your goal of showing wasted weight can be better, but it'd show you're a decent driver with a manly bot.

I could clear three in less than a minute with Needs Moar Saws II, a HW. Less then 20 seconds per. Not bad. We're still doing LWs though. Then again hardly anyone is posting any results anymore.

If you want good teams, you gotta be a good builder yourself. Unless you get lucky. But still. The majority will only send crap bots, if at all.
