though considering this is irl you're not gonna WBP with that anyways, except maybe against a flipper, so you could consider going weaponless.
Literally no IRL tournaments in the past 5 years, other than ones hosted by Wen, use win by points

Probably the last in the line of weird ass nondescript amphibian themed clamps I've built over the past 3 years. Dual TWMR2 drive so not particularly quick, small VDMA for the clamp and a Vsmall VDMA for the srimech. I wonder if this thing will be appearing in any tournaments in the near future

it works and i got people testing
also, while the parts are heavier, i have reduced the weight of motors, and battereis by a fairly decent amount to compensate. most bfe heavy extender bots are still going to be either under the weight limit, or only slightly over (unless you build like robo)
Even if you do build like me you can get your bots in weight.

Depends what you mean by backwards compatibility. If you mean 'bots from the current version will physically not work in the new version and you'll have to start from scratch', then I'd be opposed to it, but if it's just some lightening or component swapping then I don't see the issue with that

That 40x40 Tri on the top not quite sitting flush irks me a bit, but otherwise I like it a lot.

oh my god please learn to post images like a human https://gametechmods.com/forums/tutorials-and-tips/guide-to-making-good-screenshots/ it's not hard. follow the steps.
You realise which you're talking to, right?
i don't see why that should make a difference. learn. it's been long enough.
Again, you do realise who this is? Please tell me you realise. Please
Literally what are you on about edit: Just a heads up BTW Craig, the guide you linked to for uploading images is a tad outdated for the new (well, 2018 new) image attachment system. Obviously the cropping sections and stuff are still relevant though

Eyy it's back. Looking forward to this as always. Upgraded Apogee is ready to go, and I also have a second entry all built and ready too. Hope to go a few steps further than last series this time around!

Haven't built a drum in yonks so here's one. Etek for the drum and 2 NPC fast drive. It's a fair bit underweight ATM but I'm largely happy with it. Edit: Edited the supports because it was tipping forwards on hits with the old ones, and altered the drum setup because people didn't like the axle extenders.

Why have you put this in Hard Bot's showcase? Also why do you think that posting typo-riddled messages is gonna make him post it any quicker? To actually address the bots in this showcase, I like checkmate quite a bit, though I do feel that the wedge feels a little disconnected from the bot. If you shortened the chassis a little so there wasn't such a gap between the front of the wheelguards and the wedge corner, I feel it would look a bit better

Ok, so I'm thinking of getting back into DSL.
However, it seems there's been a lot of mods and changes made since my last time playing.
I haven't touched this game since my last post on here on March, 2019, and stuff has happened since.
What mods do I need to install for IRL building to resume?
DSL IRL edition should have everything you need https://gametechmods.com/forums/downloads/?sa=view;down=495

Wait, what motors do overhead saws use if they're not allowed flats?
Piglets, TWMRs etc

I also decided to renovate this old thing for some reason. Made it less crashy, gave it a frenzy hammer and gave it some nice angled armour bits around the beta motor Oh, and I also made some changes to Adrenaline. Cleaned up the flipper setup and also lightened it a ton so it flips better, and swapped to wedgelets instead of a panel wedge. No matter what I did with the panel wedge it just couldn't get under anything despite my success with them on other bot types, so I made the change

Everyone else is posting their WWRA2 bots so **** it I might as well too. This is Adrenaline. Goal was to do a rear hinge with an interesting shape to it while being reasonably effective, which I hope I achieved. Drive is 2 NPC fasts and weapon is 2 Med VDMAs
