Respect is earned, not obtained from requesting or ordering (as my stepdad should have found out by now), asking for respect will not work, you earn it and lose it through what you do. You earn it through your artwork and various other creations, actions, and knowledge. I have apparently earned some in the past couple of years, but I have no idea how that happened. And the government upholds some correct justice, and keeps some of its promises, but the government is not God, it is not an omnipotent superbeing that can save a life by clicking its fingers, as much as some people may believe, or as much as they may wish to be able to do such a thing.

If two different people see things in two different colors, how can you know what color the object actually is? What if the aliens see shapes differently? How do you know what shape it actually is? There is no way to tell the state of things as they actually exist because your perception is limited to telling how things are to you. It cannot tell you anything about things-in-themselves.
The object is the color that is reflected into the eye when light bounces off of it. But you're still using examples pertaining to senses, which god is not, does not and will/can not
