You can use Notepad++ and such for editing, but Python has some additional cool features, and is just as easy to use.

Thanks for the help, Serge. Get this how you want it to be and I'll 'Pin' it up in the 'Tutorials'. School's a burden? Oi vey... A vector, guys, is like a little packet of info, containing multiple parameters (like magnitude and direction). Here we are just 'relating' (or co--relating) two objects' cardinal directions: the arena and the gmf object (that is somewhere in the arena). This is done through a Trans-Matrix of columns and rows: TM_ROWS. The 3 columns represents the arena's xyz axes. The 3 rows represent the gmf objects xyz axes. Correlation works thus: '1' means there is a direct correlation (arena's 'x' = the gmf object's 'x') '0' means there is a no correlation between the arena's 'x' and the gmf object's 'x'. Just read over Serge's post a couple times and you'll get it. You should have had this in Algebra; sine, cosine, etc.. so don't throw a 'tangent',... hehe. Serge, I'll put your work right next to this thread: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,2310.msg58530.html#msg58530

Yep, JD. Agreed. Thanks for contributing, Vert. Cool to see people 'diving in'.
Nice move, Joe,.. to just show them how to find it for themselves. Simple. (hope they use Python to open/edit)

Though it really isn't an issue for me, I like them simplified (for the *TM_ROWs and vertices) cause it's easier to see the actual parameters as a whole (gestalt). But if it's easier to leave them there to take/line up 'numeric slots' then just leave them. Bottomline IMHO: whatever is easier to code, Serge. New/Missing syntax is more important....

One or more of these, my favorite actors, could probably play the role of the Ads and Mods: ACAMS would be played by Moe......

I don't do that anymore!
YOU KNOW WHAT!
I'M LEAVING
Sparky, I hope you're joking about throwing a hissy fit and threatening to leave,.. cause that would only prove the point.

Later, FOTEPX. It'll do you good to get away from all those distractions and preoccupations, though it will 'feel' like DTs (withdrawal symptoms), it IS actually good for y'all. While away, try to interact with people instead of things so much. See you back in a few... You guys are meanies... though what you're sharing is partly true. May a gentle, white dove graciously and inconspicuously,..... ' drop a load' in your mayo sandwich!

ACAMS: At one time, there was a Connecticut Yankee in Galveston's Court (for a speeding ticket)... close enough? Moving out of state :O
You leaving New England? If you do I will be the only one here! (That I know of) Nooooooo!
Hardly! You still have me, Badnik, and Kill, and that's just Massachusetts....and JD just north, too.
Yea, we should have arranged some kind of 'N.E. get-together' just to say 'Hi' and such...(no pics necessary then). Would have been nice. But my schedule has often been obstructive to say the least,.... Oh well, entropy increases...

I really didn't picture many of you accurately....'cept Frezal and Sage.., Ok, since others are showing all, fess up time... I'll post a pic,... if I can find one easily (due to things packed to move out of state). But for now, though I know ACAMS is an inch or so taller... I'm 6'4" and weigh 230lbs, and am an avid health-conscious person. I do work-out and play sports (esp. Basketball) 5-6x/week, but much of my carcass was inherited from my Dad. I has light brown hair, and hazel eyes (I think.. "Frankly my dear,...."). Anyway.. enough of this for now.
ACAMS, IMO (we talk a lot, IM-ing), is a big, burly guy....

I've been busy moving to Michigan, so I haven't had time to check much out. When I am finished I'll read it through. In the mean time get feedback from others too.... BTW: Thanks for your efforts, G-2.

JD: Very versatile bot. Super handy and save some lives too. Linck: That IS cool... and a ton of work. Not seen a 'walker' like that one.

Stag, more verbal instruction and holding the cam still would make it great. If you can do that, then we may pin it in the Tuts...
