Also make sure you're looking in the right place for your screenshots. They're in the "ScreenShots" folder of your RA2 install, not in your windows user's Pictures folder or anything like that.
ra2 is the most broken ****ing game either accept that and stop pretending like its supposed to be a half decent simulator or abandon it
isn't it ironic then, to still play a meta based on simulating IRL machines while simultaneously accepting that the medium you're using for that is broken af and a horrible simulation of reality ?
Bad news guys... this Friday my PC decided to die. it began with BSOD, and ended up with 1 short and 5 long beeps on my motherboard when trying to turn it on i haven't found what those beeps mean, but maybe you know, it's GA X99 ud4 retail motherboard.
anyway, I need money to fix it, so I'll get some job on a freelance, which means I'll spend less time on this project. i have backed up everything from the hard drive, and I'll keep working on it, but spending less time than I planned [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
I don't see the sense in banning the flatmotor when its issues are easily fixed with a quick nerf. A stats nerf to between the piglet and TWMR seems like a good solution (may as well make it a non-CB2 component while we're at it). This would make the piglet obsolete (like it isn't already) so I think the weight of that should be decreased to below that of the flat to compensate if we've decided to not increase the flat's weight.
Another solution would be as above, but create a new flatmotor version with increased weight and nerfed power (between piglet and twmr), with the old version being hidden as a compatibility version, only allowed to be used on pre-nerf bots. Maybe colour it differently so it's easy for hosts to check if people are cheating with it. This would make more sense purely in balance terms as the flatmotor is larger than the piglet, so it doesn't really make sense for it to be lighter or weaker.
Those spike strips are pretty ugly, try and find a prettier way to connect the hammers. And you don't need that many batteries, all spin motors draw the same amount of power. A couple battlepacks is more than enough, or a single black and an ant or two.
Plastic 10, 2x NPCF (Rear wheel is on an unpowered axle, it's there to make turning less janky and it works pretty well), 2 battlepacks. The rest you can see :)
