Title: Youtube posting help.
Post by: GarvinTheGreat on May 16, 2011, 06:32:35 PM
So I want to put a Youtube video on GTM. But I need to know a couple things. FIRST of all Can I edit the video so I only post a certain PART of the Video. The youtube video is long and I just want ONE small part of it. SECOND of all how do I transfer it to GTM WITHOUT making it a link. Just a video and you can press play and watch it. I went on you tube and copyed URL and then pasted here but it was a link. I dont want that.

1. You can easily just post the time you want them to watch

2. If you just post the url, and press post it will come as the video.

1. If the video is yours than yes you could edit it, if not, probably not

2. go to the YT page, go to the URL box up in the top, highlight all of that, right click, copy, come to GTM, go to topic you want, press post, press paste (or CTRL-V), leave what was pasted alone, press post.

No. You cannot edit a YouTube video to make it show only a clip unless you download it, edit it, and re-upload it. Don't even ask.

Yes. Copy the YouTube link, paste it into a message, and press post. When it's posted it will be a video, like in the Music ATM thread.
