Beck
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/44193Beck.jpg)
A spinner designed around to crane pieces, it's a Tombstone-Wannabe.
Back view:
One of the few bots I have that don't have fake internals.
Next, The Big Bad Biter, my first crusher:
It's NOT a Razer clone!
It's a rip-off of Ming III :P

Insides:

Aaaand he self-rights from the sides, but gets stuck if he's completely upside-down:

Next, a mixture of Bite Force and DooAll, Grappler:
Side View:
In case you couldn't tell from his appearance, name, and inspiration from Bite Force, Grappler is a clamp-bot:

Back View:
Internals:
He also has interchangeable weapons:
Saw Blade:
(https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/12265grappler saw.jpg)
Not good for damage, decent for innovation, perfect for scoring points with the awful noise it makes when it tries to "cut" things.
Claw:
Good for damage, but it jams the lifting mechanism, so no lifting.
So, what do you think?
Here's my last house robot, the Refbot. I made him a hybrid of the series 4 and series 5 refbot in that he has referee stripes, but also has a "counter system" (on one of his arms). The little spot on his plow is his "fire extinguisher"...located where his crotch might be.
The model pictured here has been updated since, and I'll show you that in a moment.

And here's what he looks like now:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
I know, this looks kinda ugly, but last tourney the robots kept getting tangled up, or wouldn't let go of each other or pinned an opponent down. So, I added a little thing I'd like to call "The Groping Claw". Then I added the classic Battlebots timer at the back. I think that part looks good.
jesus tapdancing christ please put your image dumps in spoilers. It takes me like 10 seconds to load the first page and I'm on 100mbit down.
the replicas are neat tho, good work.
I'll keep that in mind. Here's the bots for heat 1:
First up, here's Nonja:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Used to be a crappy competitor, but now features a more reliable design. A powerful bar-spinner with 2-wheel drive and a self-righting "tail". He hasn't had much success in combat due to the fact his chassis tends to break, but this new version look pretty sturdy...
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Up next, Yin Yang:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
I sub-par sit-n-spin robot with multi-racial qualities. It has the potential to do damage but the blades can be damaged, due to the way they're built.
La Machine Reborn:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Basically a modernized version of the original wedgebot. La Machine nowadays features a front-hinged flipper to throw opponents around, and it doubles as a sri-mech. He's vulnerable to horizontal spinners, however.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
From Japan, Bigfoot:
Another sit-n-spin robot, this one featuring interchangeable weapons. It can either be a flail or a hammer. It's got the biggest wheels in the competition, hence the name. The spinning forces of this robot used to rip the wheels off completely, axle included, but not anymore thanks to the reinforcement. But still, I'm not too sure about this one...
[ [ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Next, Hammerhead:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
A overhead hammer bot that won it's first ever tournament. He hasn't done much else since then, however. It's a powerful weapon, but those wheels are exposed. The hammer doubles as a srimech.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
And finally, Blue Moose:
A Toro-style flipper, and a newcomer. He has a huge, bulky design and a flipper that can get underneath anything, thanks to those spikes on the flipper edge. He can also self-right.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Place your bets on who's gonna win down below! The fights have already happened, and I'll reveal who came out on top next time along with the next heat line-up.
Wut, No Luv?
(Probably should've expected that.)
Anyway, the winner was Nonja. The upgraded design tore through numerous bots, including the promising newcomer Blue Moose, whom he initially lost to in a matter of seconds in one of the rounds. After pulling through the loser's bracket, the two met again and Nonja kept his distance, smashing into Blue Moose's armor until eventually breaking the sides, which contained the "drive system".
Now on to our next heat!
First up, Police Brutality:
A newcomer to the wars, this Tombclone disc spinner is small and compact. But is it effective? Only time will tell...
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Up next, U.S.O:
This Unidentified Spinning Object can be easily identified as the deadliest spinner I've ever made. It's supposed to represent a full body spinner, but it functions like a spinning top. Cheap, I know, but it works really well. You'll see several bots like this.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
The Tornado of Terror:
Totally not a One Punch Man reference, this bot is also a newcomer, initially intended to be a spinner. But, I had a hard time finding the right parts in spite of having tons of legos. I opted for a flipper at the last minute, which can self-right, but I'm not sure if that was the best decision...
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Up next, Creamsicle:
A robot representing the Netherlands, because I needed more competitors. He's a "shufflebot" and thus gets a TINY weight bonus, according to my rules. Very sturdy design, but the flipper struggles to get underneath anything. It also doubles as a sri-mech.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
And finally, Rhino:
A durable axe-bot that can self-right. Not much else to it, the weapon isn't that effective.
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Who do you think will win? Please comment down below your prediction and I'll reveal the answer in my next post.
Please leave a comment. I know at least 2 people are watching.
Man some of those made up bots look sick :O you should remake a bunch in RA2
Lol I actually tried doing that earlier today. Didn't work out too well.
Going with Tornado of Terror
These LEGO bots are what I wish my old LEGO robots would have looked like, keep up the awesome work!
Thanks! Also, it's interesting that you went with Tornado of Terror, because...
Tornado of Terror won her respective heat! It was a close final between her and Creamsicle, but in the end her flipper was lower to the ground, thus she was able to send the Dutch robot oota.
I'm going for Rhino but my predictions have about 10% success rate when it comes to robot combat in any form
Well, you were close. Rhino was in the final 3.
Anyway, on to the next heat, the heat I did today!
First up, Loong Boi:
This newcomer has the longest flipper in all of Bot Wars history. But is does that translate to good flipping? Or will it just be a big, floppy, useless hunk of plastic? Only time will tell.
https://i.imgur.com/IRgGXtf.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/BHNZkOz.jpg
Up next, from Russia, Andre:
This Russian robot is underweight an inexperience, but has a deadly looking spinner. It's also invertible.
https://i.imgur.com/7Ji34SC.jpg
Up next, Caustic Caution Reborn:
An old veteran of Bot Wars has come out of retirement with a revamped design. The new flipper has spiky teeth that act as wedges. It's been over a year since this bot has last competed. Can it compare to modern day competitors?
https://i.imgur.com/DLp3arB.jpg
Next up, from Germany, Zerschlagen:
With a name that roughly translates to "smash", Zerschlagen lives up to the German name by being an effective overhead spinner design. The crooked pole on top helps in self-righting and the hammers are reinforced to better withstand impacts. Will the German leave it's opponents squirmin'?
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
From China, Snap Dragon:
Sheesh, what's with all the international competitors? Anyway, Snap Dragon is a Beta-style overhead hammer bot with tough red armor and a steely resolve to never die. This bot is known for taking a VERY long time to disable, even against the most powerful spinners. But that's only for the front of the bot...
https://i.imgur.com/Wp3uCcI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uD91avj.jpg
And finally, Poseidon:
Another veteran from over a year and dozens of competitions ago, this bot was one of the original "full-body-spinners" to swoop in to Bot Wars and leave a path of destruction. It also features a scri-mech, which may seem unrealistic, but since I can't make ring spinners, this will have to do.
https://i.imgur.com/iKXN4AZ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jPbOqXl.jpg
So, which of these bots do you think has won the heat? Leave a comment down below as the comments are what keep this whole thread afloat.
And the winner of last heat waaaas...Zerschlagen! It was a close final, between Germany's Zerschlagen and China's Snap Dragon. Snap Dragon proved durable and did defeat Zerschlagen in an earlier bout, but this time was different. Zerschlagen got a lucky hit on Snap Dragon's rear, which housed the "electronics" and such.
With that being said, on to the next heat!
First up, Gory Glory:
My own personal entry into the series. It's an outdated but cool looking design that I just can't give up. Decent weapon, but he's vulnerable to both flippers and the rebound of every single one of his hits.
https://i.imgur.com/9dPh3PL.jpg
Next up, Pumpjack:
A Beta-style hammer bot that used to be more brown. The weapon is powerful but also has a tendency to break apart. His weapon enables him to self-right.
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
Up next, Chain of Death:
A newcomer to the series, Chain of Death has chisels and chains, hence the name. The crooked bar on top enables him to self-right but I'm not to sure about the effectiveness of his weapon.
https://i.imgur.com/OpEMWHm.jpg
Beta Dragonis:
One of THE best flippers of Bot Wars. He's toppled over both Mr.Psycho and Sir Killalot, and he's won a few tournaments. He's our current All-Stars champion. Only problem is...he's vulnerable to spinners...
https://i.imgur.com/Lsu3B3n.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Pr7oJaN.jpg
Futerra 9000:
And here's his arch-rival. Futerra and Beta Dragonis have had a recent history in both the war of the weapons and the all-stars, each bot defeating the other once. Futerra is a well built robot with a COLOSSAL flipper that is resistant to spinners. Those newly installed fangs on his flipper give him the ability to get under anyone. At the same time however, he's vulnerable to other flippers, his own kind.
https://i.imgur.com/iMAAX7B.jpg
And finally, Technofreak:
This marvelous design has a giant swinging knife installed in it's flipper, which ALSO has fangs for getting under bots. The knife moves fast, but his design suffers from durability issues.
https://i.imgur.com/wRwmHyY.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/dMqqKgd.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Lg2EIHo.jpg
Who do YOU think won the heat? What do you think of these robots? Leave a comment down below! (I'm gonna say that EVERY heat.)
going for Beta Dragonis
Aaaaaand YOU'D BE CORRECT! It was a final between two rivals. Despite the upgraded flipper, Futerra 9000 lost not once but TWICE to Beta Dragonis, first in the round of the final 4, and then in the very final.
Now on to the next heat!
First up, from South Africa, Shadow:
This massive foreign flipper has a lot of oomph in it's weapon. And with an improved wedge in the form of flipper fangs, they could be a potential champion. The only problems are inexperience, and the fact it will ALWAYS flip something over when it fires it's weapon...either an opponent, or itself. As such, it can also self-right.
https://i.imgur.com/GIw9pIr.jpg
Next up, Debranator:
First Debra, then Debranator, then Debrastator, and now back to Debranator. The 4-bar launcher reminds me of RFL SHW Ziggy, and perhaps we'll see the same kind of performance as well. Problem is is that this is a revamped version of an old, outdated design, and has never been tested, until now. The weapon just barely doubles as a sri-mech.
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
From Japan, Fallen Angel:
This bot doesn't play nice. It's essentially a pop-up flipper. You'd think the narrow blade would struggle to throw robots, but you'd be wrong. This bot's main weakness is the placement of it's drive system, way in the back, making steering difficult. It's a sturdy design, and can self-right from any angle, due to the sri-mechs and weapon, although it's tricky getting off of it's back. Does better righting from the sides.
https://i.imgur.com/G2mNGnj.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wQmKzNp.jpg
Also from Japan, Gaspy:
You're probably wondering why we have so many Japanese entries in this tournament. Don't ask. Anyway, Gaspy is an adorable little flipper with decent power and great maneuverability, but those wheels are VERY exposed, and cuteness won't get you any further in Bot Wars.
https://i.imgur.com/tCrwjA8.jpg
Up next, All American Redneck:
AMERICAAAA, F**K YEAH! *Ahem* Excuse me, uhh, this bot is based off of Revolutionist, not from Robot Wars Extreme Warriors, but from MLU4 Robot Wars, and the likes of Hypnodisc as well. This bot has got a lot of history, and has come in many forms, from axebot to VS. Lots of experience, speed, and power in this bot. Problem is...he's got a HUUUGE ground clearance under that blade. He's susceptible to flippers.
https://i.imgur.com/3rtP5LC.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EHo9x30.jpg
And finally, White Privilege:
You better check your god damn privilege, or this bot will check it for you. It's a big crushing arm with sri-mech arms and very high durability, in most areas...except the wedge. This bot is relatively new too. I wonder what he'll do with our South African black robot Shadow...
https://i.imgur.com/PQJZjJz.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/cUV2FHW.jpg
Who won this heat?
Leave your guess in the comments below! It's what keeps this thread goin'.
Woah, those are better than the ones from when I was a kid.
They weren't always this good. 8 years ago I made crude replicas of Comedy Central Battlebots competitors.
That crusher is a thing of beauty, and I love the 4 bar lifter. However I think Shadow has got this one
Thanks! You were close when you guessed Shadow, for he DID make it to the final, BUT...
...the winner of that heat was the 4 bar launcher DEBRANATOR! It was a pretty quick final. Debranator was unopposed throughout the entirety of the heat, one-shotting opponents out the arena, including Shadow. I believe one of Debranator's fights lasted only 3 seconds.
Anyway, on to the next heat...which, in my opinion, didn't look too spectacular. You'll see why in a moment.
First up, Turret Syndrome:
(I can make this joke because I myself have Tourettes Syndrome.) This offensively-named robot is a newcomer, armed with a hammer on a turret.
It's a little underweight and the design is untested, but that hammer could be deadly.
https://i.imgur.com/3Grj2Vh.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/ZsSpWRk.jpg
Up next, Oscar:
This robot started the trend of sub-par looking competitors coming on to this tournament. To be fair, this is a hearty robot, with a lifting tail that gets under everything and can trip up spinners. The front plates however can be broken off.
https://i.imgur.com/iGqmIbO.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/j0fmqLd.jpg
Next up, Metal Scorpion:
Another crappy looking robot, with a flywheel that does no damage and a bendy lifter. However, this bot's ability to lift and flip itself around with the lifter makes it impossible to pin down or grab ahold of. He can also use confusion tactics against his enemies, and has a "scorpion attack mode" that's mostly consistent of him showing off. It's also vulnerable to crushers and spinners.
https://i.imgur.com/ExnCQEM.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/n0QHxfR.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/1K5fmy5.jpg
Next, Son of Doris:
This bot has been around for YEARS, starting off as a wedge named Doris, later we got Son of Doris, who attained a crushing jaw, this machine has lots of experience and is very durable. Problem is, his crusher can easily bend itself out of shape, and can only damage certain types of robots. Those are really his only problems. He also features a self-righting tail.
https://i.imgur.com/HIpSpLF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/43SX25Y.jpg
Iron Golem:
Any Minecraft fans here? Anyway, Iron Golem has been around for a little while, but hasn't had much success. It's got a big reliable hammer on it and is reasonably durable, but I'm still not to confident in this robot's chances.
https://i.imgur.com/1IjvxrF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uHENYHL.jpg
And finally, Silver Scarab:
This bot is a newcomer and one of the 2 horizontal crushing robots in this tournament. It's a cool looking design but it's also untested. Obvious sri-mech is obvious.
https://i.imgur.com/KVluKMC.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kF7VKt8.jpg
Hopefully the images work, Imgur was being difficult with me, probably because I was uploading 13 pictures at once. Who do you think won out of this turd-fest? Leave your guess down below!
Turret Syndrome, just because of the name really :laughing
It is a great name, but unfortunately Turret Syndrome was the first bot to be eliminated that heat.
And the winner was...SON OF DORIS! It was a brutal final between him and Metal Scorpion, who used its weird lifter tactics to advance far. But, Son of Doris used it's crusher to break part of that lifter, and totally shattered Scorpion's chances by removing a wheel in the process.
Now we're on to the next heat:
First up, Steampunk Reject:
A beautifully built crusher-bot with self-righting arms and immense swagger. One of the most durable designs in Bot Wars. Problem is, his weapon only damages certain bots, and he doesn't fare well against flippers.
https://i.imgur.com/zM8ZV0Y.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vmsLL4g.jpg
Next up, Shazam:
This robot has it's internals attached to the underside of the flipper. He's not the first robot to do this. He used to be 2 wheel drive but now he's upgraded to 4 and has an anti-spinner bar at the back. It's a decent flipper but has a high ground clearance overall. How do you think this bot will do?
https://i.imgur.com/P58AiFx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/JWcAne7.jpg
Up next, Maximus:
The biggest flipper in Bot Wars by area, this bot looks cool and deadly but it's been plagued with design problems since it's debut. This bot also has it's internals attached to it's flipper.
https://i.imgur.com/WABq2PH.jpg
From Japan, Manslaughter:
This formidable former world champion has a powerful drive setup and a great pair of heavily reinforced flipping forks. (Hey, that rhymes!) This bot is one to look out for, but as of recently it's been less successful. I wonder why...
https://i.imgur.com/KSIrtes.jpg
From Sweden, Junko:
This bot has been through many redesigns, one of which became a champion, whilst the rest were mostly crap. This version is a Tombstone-style spinner with a mildly effective weapon. He's invertable and fast, so he may be able to dodge all the flippers.
https://i.imgur.com/ZqPqARZ.jpg
And finally, Prowler:
A newcomer to the series, this rookie has an articulated drive system, similar to car steering. It has a grinding saw on a moveable arm, which doubles as a sri-mech. Problem is that this robot has exposed wheels and a weak weapon. Will it prowl on towards it's grave?
https://i.imgur.com/fMXcv4I.jpg
Who won? Leave a guess down below! Or just comment on what you think of these competitors, either will do.
Prowler is beautiful and I'm rooting for it
Sadly...he was either the first or second robot to get eliminated. (I forgot which, I think I need to actually keep record of these damn fights.)
And the winner was...MANSLAUGHTER. He took on the swede machine Junko whom he tossed around relentlessly, but not as relentlessly as he did to Maximus, in an earlier bout, where he threw him into the arena back wall 4 times in a row.
Anyway, on to the next heat:
First up, Onyx
This mediocre crusher bot doesn't do much damage, but it's great at grappling with opponents. It's also got sri-mech arms. Not too sure about this robot's chances...
https://i.imgur.com/0y4KLsv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EXKU1Ix.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wCE9o6U.jpg
Up next, from somewhere in Europe, Jester:
A newcomer to the series, Jester aspires to be the deadliest sit-n-spin robot in Bot Wars history. Really? With that skinny little hammer? Pfft, whatever you say. To be fair though, this robot looks pretty well built, probably can endure a lot of abuse at the hands of competitors, maybe even dish a few decent blows of his own. He's also got an anti-spinner bar at the back which doubles as a counter-weight to the hammer.
https://i.imgur.com/YqUF6bM.jpg
Next up, Beatle:
An entry from my cousin! I of course had to rebuild it in order to be more competitive. It's now a 2-wheel drive lifter-bot, with some fancy horns. But can it lift it's chances of success?
https://i.imgur.com/tKcBoMI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jIqUYqC.jpg
Silver Knight:
This humanoid "walkerbot" is slow, heavy, but has immense swagger. It's a very articulate bot with a moving sword and shield, and a waist-swivel that would make JobbyTheHong proud. However, this robot has never won a fight in any of the 3 previous tournaments it competed in.
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
Ramminator:
Would you believe me if I told you this bot was once a finalist? This 4-wheel-driven box of pure aggression is the reason why "weaponless" robots are permitted in Bot Wars: Not only can they be fodder for more destructive robots, they also can put up an aggressive show. The chassis is strong, and so is the spike, but the wheels are exposed.
https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpg
And finally, Big Bad Biter:
The one of the pioneers of the crushing claw in Bot Wars, this bot hasn't aged well. It's an ugly design but could show promise, it's got a sri-mech but it's wheels are vulnerable.
https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpg
Who won? Leave a guess down below, and I'll tell you tomorrow whilst introducing our last set of competitors! See ya then!
Maybe Ramminator but this is a tough one to call as they all seems a pretty similar standards, no bot really stand out
He's a good bot, but, believe or not, he lost...
...to the walkerbot Silver Knight! It was a weird battle, Ramminator living up to it's name and ramming at his opponent, only to be twisted and turned around by Silver Knight's arms. A well-aimed poke in the right places took off not one but TWO of the wheels on Ramminator. Ramminator backed up into Mr.Psycho's hammer TWICE trying to line up for a big hit, getting damaged at the back, and also taking away strategy points that could've won him the match. Unfortunately, all he scored was aggression, whilst Silver Knight scored on damage.
But that's not the final. No, Silver Knight didn't even make it past the next round after that fight. No, the true winner of it all was...Beatle!
It was...a really boring final between Beatle and Onyx. I barely remembered the fight other than that it has to be unspectacular. I almost forgot it was Onyx who made it to the final in the first place.
Anyway, on to the next heat, which will introduce the last of our competitors:
First up, Dozer:
A complete newcomer of an unusual design. It's divided in half because of it's sri-mech, has a 4 wheel drive, and a pair of lifting forks that double as an anti-spinner wedge. However it's not the highest quality build in this group and has no previous experience. It's an untested design.
https://i.imgur.com/BOT5irx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/qmiEqV6.jpg
Up next, Skorpinoid:
A powerful red crusher robot with smoothly integrated sri-mech arms. It's a constant competitor that's been around for a while but has had mediocre success.
https://i.imgur.com/zPL1WPm.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/xDZspPV.jpg
Next up, Vice Grip:
A large horizontal crusher. That's...pretty much it. It's got big exposed wheels and a decent design, hasn't been around for that long and hasn't had much success.
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
From the United Arab Emirates, Circuit Chipper:
Once was the most brutal robot in Bot Wars history. It was the apex of spinners for a long, long time. But recently, it's been struggling to keep it's top-dog status against modern designs, and is rather outdated. It still can pack a whallop though, so maybe it has a chance...
https://i.imgur.com/qU3jkTC.jpg
From Japan, Kill-Bot-Kun:
This hyperactive box on wheels hasn't had much success, however this new flipper looks promising. It can take quite a few hits but it's vulnerable to crushers, since it's wheels can be easily torn off.
https://i.imgur.com/PG0NYTK.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uyCaJUZ.jpg
And finally, Springer:
A spring-loaded flipper. Does it work? Well, yeah, but it can get jammed. It has the power to toss robots over but he needs a separate sri-mech on top of it for self-righting. Also, it's weapon is usually always up, and can only stay sprung down for limited periods of time, so he's gotta be VERY precise with when and how he gets underneath other robots.
https://i.imgur.com/3L51URv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GvH27mf.jpg
So, who do you think is gonna win this one? Leave a comment below!
Also, what competitors do you think deserve a second chance? We've got 3 wild-card heats and 18 spots. 9 of them were taking up by the heat finalists that lost, but the other nine are up to YOU. I'll get a picture of them together and you can decide which ones get another chance. Choose wisely and be sure to read up on their respective heat descriptions. I'll organize them by heat as well. I don't remember the order in which they lost though. Sorry.
All your recommendations have been brought in to the wildcard! There were 5 fan-selected bots, 9 heat finalist bots, and 4 bots that I picked.
There will be 3 heats of 6, and the first one is today!
First up, Onyx:
One of the heat finalists, thus automatically given a second chance through the wild card. However, the only reason this bot made it so far was because of the mediocre heat it participated in. How will it do this time?
https://i.imgur.com/0y4KLsv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EXKU1Ix.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wCE9o6U.jpg
Next up, Poseidon:
This lethal veteran BARELY had a chance to represent itself, so I gave it another chance. It's a shell-spinner with a scri-mech, considered by some to be the apex of Bot Wars design.
https://i.imgur.com/iKXN4AZ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jPbOqXl.jpg
Up next, Caustic Caution Reborn:
Same story goes for this robot. I believe it can do better. It also came from the same heat as Poseidon.
https://i.imgur.com/DLp3arB.jpg
All American Redneck:
Brought in to the wild card due to an amazing design. It under-performed in it's heat, presumable because one of the many flippers in that heat exploited it's ground clearance.
https://i.imgur.com/3rtP5LC.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EHo9x30.jpg
From Japan, Gaspy:
Speaking of which, here's one of the bots from that heat. This adorable little flipper has a lot of power, but almost no armor. Will it survive the spinners of this heat?
https://i.imgur.com/tCrwjA8.jpg
And finally, Technofreak:
This bot's good looking and unique design earned it a wild card, but can it perform up to the expectations of the hype? Only time will tell...
https://i.imgur.com/wRwmHyY.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/dMqqKgd.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Lg2EIHo.jpg
Who will win? Leave your guess down below and tomorrow I'll reveal who made it through.
Well,, you guys were close...
Gaspy did in fact make it through to the final, but lost out to...
TECHNOFREAK!
Gaspy just couldn't get underneath Technofreak soon enough, and Technofreak took control of the fight, and then took Gaspy, out of the arena.
Now then, onto the next six!
First up, Skorpinoid:
Made it to the heat final, only to lose out to Kill Bot Kun. This machine has been revised and revamped so many times it seems almost impossible for this bot to get any better. Aside from the exposed wheels, this bot is pretty much perfect.
https://i.imgur.com/zPL1WPm.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/xDZspPV.jpg
Next up, Blue Moose:
Another heat finalist, this Toro-esque flipper showed some real promise in it's debut, only to be torn apart in a rematch against Nonja. But with only a sub-par spinner in this heat, can he take the win?
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
Up next, Metal Scorpion:
Another scorpion bot, another heat finalist. This machine used it's weird lifter as a means of confusing and out-maneuvering it's opponents. But that was in a heat full of sub-par robots. How will he hand in this fiercer battlefield?
https://i.imgur.com/ExnCQEM.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/n0QHxfR.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/1K5fmy5.jpg
From the Netherlands, Creamsicle:
Yet ANOTHER heat finalist, this guy lost out to Tornado of Terror in the second heat finals. With a very durable frame, this bot was able to withstand a whole 4 minutes with U.S.O, the deadliest robot in competition. However, it's low top speed and difficulty to get under robots may melt this creamsicle.
https://i.imgur.com/c72ZDNI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kOdb4iB.jpg
From Sweden, Junko:
This bot tried it's best, but got it's ass kicked by the Japanese machine Manslaughter in the final. This bot is invertable, fast, and can occasionally do damage. However, it's VERY vulnerable to flippers. It's actually quite fun to see this oddly-shaped bot fly through the air, bouncing on either his weapon or wheels.
https://i.imgur.com/ZqPqARZ.jpg
And finally, Silver Knight:
One of the coolest looking robots in competition, this "walkerbot" has showns it's worth by making it through two whole rounds in it's respective heats, even taking out a seasoned veteran in the process. However, I'm not sure if this bot can pull off a miracle again. Only time will tell.
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/ZqPqARZ.jpg
Who's gonna win? LEAVE YOUR GUESS IN A COMMENT BELOW! And I'll let ya'll know tomorrow, and introduce you to the final wild-card! After that, it's the semi-finals!
Going out on limb with Blue Moose
Aaaand...YOU'D BE CORRECT!
It was between him and swede machine Junko. Junko's weapon wasn't powerful enough to damage Blue Moose's armor, so it was only a matter of time before he got thrown out the arena. He actually ended up skewered on one of the arena poles that poke upwards, at the arena walls.
Time for the final wild-card:
First up, Springer:
This bot's unique design is probably why it got here. There's not really much else to say about it.
https://i.imgur.com/3L51URv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GvH27mf.jpg
Next up, Rhino:
This beautiful axe-bot has a tough design and a good looking weapon, but can it cause damage? I forget, honestly.
https://i.imgur.com/ZvO6y2f.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vSxnra7.jpg
Up next, Futerra 9000:
This bot is a tough competitor. Won the war of the weapons competition last tournament, and only lost out to a very good competitor by the name of Beta Dragonis. However, he's not the only high-quality flipper here...
https://i.imgur.com/iMAAX7B.jpg
From South Africa, Shadow:
...like this one! This bot is such a dark horse it's rather impressive. Dark design, underrated weapon, and great durability. However, it's over-powered flipper tends to flip himself over, sometimes regardless of whether or not a competitor was on top of it. That COULD be a weakness.
https://i.imgur.com/GIw9pIr.jpg
From China, Snap Dragon:
This bot's a little salty about it's unfortunate loss to the German bot Zerschlagen, which it lost via a lucky shot to the rear. A tough China-bot with a decent, but frail, hammer. I say frail because this bot has a tendency of swinging so hard that the hammer flies out of it's socket. I'm not sure how he'll do against the 3 flippers in this heat.
https://i.imgur.com/Wp3uCcI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uD91avj.jpg
And finally, Vice Grip:
Given a Wild Card due to his good looks. Under the right circumstances, this bot can deal some damage. It's durability though...uh...no. Just no. Not that spectacular.
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
Who's gonna win? Leave a guess down below!
And the winner was...FUTERRA 9000! It was a quick match between him and Shadow. After some flips and maneuvers Futerra got under Shadow's side and launched him out the arena.
Speaking of arena, this is what it looks like:
https://i.imgur.com/qqXFkzs.jpg
Now then, on to the semi finals! First here's round one, where 3 bots will proceed through to the grand final.
First up, winner of Wild Card 2, Blue Moose:
The Toro of this tourney has made it through to the heat finals in both heats he's ever competed in. And he's just a newcomer! Only the strongest of spinners can match up to this impressive machine.
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
Next up, winner of Heat 8, Beatle:
Tough machine that has improved massively this series. It's forks can lift a lot without the rear end lifting up like it used to. Reduced to a 2 wheel drive from last tournament, and may I mention that this bot was originally made by my cousin...
https://i.imgur.com/tKcBoMI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jIqUYqC.jpg
Up next, winner of Heat 2, Tornado of Terror:
This rookie stunned us all with a powerful resolve to win, and an equally powerful flipper.
https://i.imgur.com/ieeqXjd.jpg
From Germany, winner of Heat 3, Zerschlagen:
You could consider this bot to be rather luck, it made it through numerous play-offs and near losses before finally getting that lucky shot on Snap Dragon in the final. However, with 4 different flippers in this heat, he probably doesn't stand a chance, unfortunately.
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
From Japan, winner of Heat 9, Kill-Bot-Kun
Stereotypical japanese sounding name sporting a chassis passed down from a now retired fellow japanese competitor. In addition to it's cat ears, it also has a formidable flipper that helped it dominate a fair few battles this tournament. I also accidentally forgot to post this bot's pics during it's original heat I better fix that up real quick.
https://i.imgur.com/PG0NYTK.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uyCaJUZ.jpg
And finally, winner of Wild Card 3, Futerra 9000:
Looking for revenge after a loss to Beta Dragonis in the 4th heat final. He's fought his way back up through the wild-cards and is still a contender for the championship.
https://i.imgur.com/iMAAX7B.jpg
Which 3 bots from this heat do you think will succeed? Comment down below!
Then there's round 2, featuring the rest of the semi-finalists
First up, winner of Heat 4, Beta Dragonis:
Speaking of Beta Dragonis, here he is! He looks confident and I don't blame him. He's one of the few competitors to have flipped Sir Killalot.
His only real weakness is horizontal spinners.
https://i.imgur.com/Lsu3B3n.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Pr7oJaN.jpg
Up next, winner of Heat 1, Nonja:
Speaking of which, here's one now! A massively upgraded weapon helped this bot eke out a win, but will it go any further with all these flippers about? Usually I'd say no, but we saw him both lose to but later defeat Blue Moose. You never know, in this arena...
https://i.imgur.com/YsnGzbw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/tTH10Km.jpg
Next up, winner of Heat 6, Son of Doris:
This experienced veteran of Bot Wars made it through a rather bland and boring heat, but it ended it a good final. That crushing beak is double-jointed and capable of tearing wheels off easily. He's also got that self-righting tail and a low ground clearance. I'm not sure if that'll help him, because there's 4 flippers in THIS semi final round too! That's right, there's 8 flippers in the semi finals right now. It's like roaming robots or something!
https://i.imgur.com/HIpSpLF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/43SX25Y.jpg
From Japan, the winner of Heat 7, MANslaughter:
This robot is absolutely BRUTAL. He's won both a regular championship and a world championship, and is recognized as the best Japanese competitor in Bot Wars history! However, in his second tournament he got a redesign that ruined his effectiveness. Has that been reversed with this current version? Seems to be working, as he went unopposed in his heat. I still remember when he broke apart Maximus's chassis, just by throwing him at the arena back wall 4 times in a row.
https://i.imgur.com/KSIrtes.jpg
The winner of Wild Card 1, Technofreak:
Brought back because of his cool design, and won his wild card heat because of, well, his cool design! His giant knife blade strikes very fast and the flipper is relatively decent. Mostly average. He's also gonna be matched up against Beta Dragonis, the bot who won the heat Technofreak lost. I don't remember if they fought eachother in that heat though...hm...
https://i.imgur.com/wRwmHyY.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/dMqqKgd.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Lg2EIHo.jpg
And finally, winner of Heat 4, Debranator:
If you want to see a robot dominate a fight, watch Manslaughter. If you want to see a bot win a fight in just a few seconds, look no further than here. Debranator is using her 4-bar flipper again in this tournament after numerous losses with a spinner in the last 2 tournaments. I'd really like to see her fight MANslaughter...
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
Which 3 bots do you think won THIS half of the semi-finals?
The 2 groups of 3 will be fighting in the traditional Bot Wars style 6-bot format in the grand final. Place your bets! Which 3 do you think will win part 1, and which 3 will win part 2? Leave a comment below!
Ok, I guess I was asking too much of you guys. Here's the winners of both parts of the semi-finals:
For Semi-Finals 1 the winners are:
Tornado of Terror
https://i.imgur.com/ieeqXjd.jpg
Zerschlagen
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
Aaand Kill-Bot-Kun
https://i.imgur.com/PG0NYTK.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uyCaJUZ.jpg
And the Semi-Finals 2 winners are:
Beta Dragonis
https://i.imgur.com/Lsu3B3n.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Pr7oJaN.jpg
Son of Doris
https://i.imgur.com/HIpSpLF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/43SX25Y.jpg
Aaand Debranator!
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
And with that we have our finalists. One of these bots is going to become the champion of the main Bot Wars Tournament. Who do YOU think is gonna win it all?
Alright, we'll be having 3 different qualifiers for the World Championship. The first two, the russian and japanese, will be featured today.
Here's the Russian Qualifier:
First up, Andre:
https://imgur.com/FzmlwaH
Looks deadly, but don't be deceived. This underweight entry doesn't have much to offer. However, the last time we had a world chapionship and these two russians duked it out, Andre WON that match. Could the same possibly happen again?
And his opponent, Triosk:
https://imgur.com/DduMl5k
I'd put what little money I do have on this robot, simply due to refined design and experience. However, you never know what will happen in the arena...
And here's the Japanese Qualifier:
First up, Big Foot:
Another sub-par robot, nothing impressive here. The wheels are the largest in competition, hence the name. The interchangeable weapons are a nice touch, but this bot isn't durable at all.
https://imgur.com/7rlcIrB
Up next, Fallen Angel:
https://i.imgur.com/G2mNGnj.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wQmKzNp.jpg
This bot's pretty tough. Good weapon, good armor, only real problem is that the wheels are exposed.
Up next, Gaspy:
https://i.imgur.com/tCrwjA8.jpg
LOOK AT THE GOOGLY EYES! This bot has become quite popular due to the iconic eyes. That flipper shouldn't be underestimated though. This bot also suffers from exposed wheels.
Next up, MANslaughter:
https://i.imgur.com/KSIrtes.jpg
This bot won a world championship before, being the apex design in his debut series. Can he do it again? We shall see.
And finally, the new main series champion, Kill Bot Kun.
https://i.imgur.com/PG0NYTK.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uyCaJUZ.jpg
Can you believe it? Still hard to process that this un-noteworthy bot fought it's way into the championship, defeating the bot we all THOUGHT was going to win! This miraculous competitor is the biggest surprise in this tournament so far.
Who's gonna win the Russian Qualifier?
Who's gonna win the Japanese Qualifier?
Leave a comment down below!
And, so we have our winners:
For the Russian qualifier, the winner, once again, is ANDRE! Despite being dominated the first half, Andre managed to exploit a SEVERE design flaw on Triosk: It can get stranded on it's side. With this in mind, Andre prevailed once again and become the Russian representative for the second time now.
And as for the Japanese qualifier, the winner is...MANSLAUGHTER! It was in the finals, between him and Fallen Angel. Both bots drove quick and smart, but in the end, it was MANSLAUGHTER who made it through to the World Championships, via an OOTA flip on Fallen Angel.
Now, it's time for the first of the American Qualifiers, let's start up with heat 1:
First up, All American Redneck:
This bot usually is the competitor I chose to represent America in the world championships, but now it's up for debate to see who is TRULY worthy of representing good ol' MURICA!
https://i.imgur.com/3rtP5LC.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EHo9x30.jpg
Up next, Police Brutality:
I like the look of this robot, but that's about it. Haven't seen much from it since it's a new competitor. Looks maneuverable and agile, but I'm not sure about the durability if the weapon.
https://imgur.com/NsTK8IP
https://imgur.com/eVfJofW
Next up, Blue Moose:
A very promising newcomer to this series, he mad it to the heat finals in both his debut heat and one of the Wildcard Heats. Can he go all the way this time?
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
Up next, Maximus:
Known know for the vicious ass-beating it took from MANslaughter in the heats. Lets see if he can manage to not fall apart this heat.
https://i.imgur.com/WABq2PH.jpg
Next up, Skorpinoid:
This bot lately has been doing rather well lately, losing it's main tournament heat to the future champ Kill Bot Kun. Can he once again pull through?
https://i.imgur.com/zPL1WPm.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/xDZspPV.jpg
And finally, Metal Scorpion:
Another Scorpion, and also a heat finalist. He and Skorpinoid even met up in the same wild card! And now they're in the same heat again!
https://i.imgur.com/ExnCQEM.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/n0QHxfR.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/1K5fmy5.jpg
So, who's gonna win this qualifier bout?
Leave your guess down below!
I still like blue moose
Aaaaand YOU'D BE CORRECT! IT was a battle between newcomers in the final, with Blue Moose taking on Police Brutality, who had lucked his way through the heat. It all ended the moment Blue Moose launched him out the arena.
Now then, onto the next round!
First up, Nonja:
Here's a much improved competitor who fought Blue Moose TWICE: First he lost, then he won. This lethal spinner made it through heat one this tournament, but showed a weakness to flippers in the semi-finals.
https://i.imgur.com/YsnGzbw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/tTH10Km.jpg
Next up, Vice Grip:
One of the coolest designs we have here, this bot has the capacity to do SOME damage, depending on the opponent. Usually though, this bot ends up being the one damaged.
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
Up next, Springer:
This bot is a one-of-a-kind spring-loaded flipper, hence the name. It was recently discovered to not need it's sri-mech, since the flipper itself can in fact self-right Springer. Just comes to show that these redesigns only get tested in the competition.
https://i.imgur.com/3L51URv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GvH27mf.jpg
Next up, Yin-Yang
I bi-racial robot-er, I mean, a black and white robot that was a pain in the ass to design, mostly due to the fact one half is one color only, and the other half has to be another. Easier said than done. This bot doesn't do much, other than a SNS attack, but it's nice to look at.
https://imgur.com/TDEdeqG
Up next, Ramminator:
This tough ramming spike got humiliated in the heats, losing to a walker of all things. He's back now and he's pissed.
https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpg
And finally, Futerra 9000:
Also known as the bot that's the arch-nemesis to Beta Dragonis. This bot may look sturdy and reliable, and he generally is, however, he CAN be broken.
https://i.imgur.com/iMAAX7B.jpg
Who's gonna win?
Leave your guesses down below!
I'm going with Futerra 9000 but I've always liked the design of Springy
Aaand...2 for 2, you're right again my dude!
It was a rather interesting heat, with Springer getting torn to pieces by Nonja and Ramminator one-hit KO'ing Vice Grip with a stab right through the innards (I million in one shot if you ask me) and of course, the final between Futerra and Ramminator.
Ramminator was clearly out-matched, which is probably why he threw HIMSELF out the arena, using Futerra's flipper as a ramp. Lawlz.
Anyway, onto the next round!
First up, La Machine Reborn:
This bot hasn't had much of a chance to show of it's ancient fighting style, which the original La Machine used back in the late 90s. Can it do it this heat?
https://imgur.com/0kfx541
https://imgur.com/udrwGFz
Next up, Caustic Caution Reborn:
What's next? Battlebots Reborn? Anyway, Caustic Caution is an average flipper who consistently performed well back about a couple years ago. It's back bigger and better now. I even gave him a roll-over chassis.
https://i.imgur.com/DLp3arB.jpg
Up next, Chain of Death:
This bot...isn't really good. It's capable of some impressive RPMs but it can't really do damage. Still a nice looking design.
https://i.imgur.com/OpEMWHm.jpg
Next up, Pumpjack:
Considered to be the Beta of this tournament, this double cone hammer has a sturdy design and a decent success rate.
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
Up next, Shazam:
A promising looking flipper, now with 4 wheel drive and an anti spinner bar at the back. There's no spinners in this heat however. I remember back when he had that un-needed sri-mech.
https://i.imgur.com/P58AiFx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/JWcAne7.jpg
And finally, HammerHead:
A powerful hammer bot, often considered the FrenZy of this tournament. It's a tad bit outdated though...
https://imgur.com/16mANY8
https://imgur.com/fliBUBi
Who do you think is gonna win? Leave your guess down below!
I quite like La Machine Reborn
Unfortunately, he didn't make it very far.
The winner...was PUMPJACK! It was a bit of a weird heat, mainly because it featured one of the most vicious house bot attacks in the history of Bot Wars! It was during the 5 bot melee. The house robots present were Sergeant Bash and Dead Metal. The moment the match started, the 5 robots attacked the house robots. Sergeant Bash had several plates broken off, and was flipped a bunch of times. Dead Metal got it the worst though. Not only did his entire left side get smashed off, but he was even thrown OUT THE ARENA. It was a humiliating day for the house robots.
Oh, and the runner-up was Shazam. I don't remember much about how the fight went, but it wasn't as notable as the house bot attack.
Now then, on to the next heat!
First up, Prowler:
This majestic machine has an articulated chassis and saw blade on an arm. However, aside from good looks, it has no substance. We can all pray this bot does well, but it's just a waste of time. At least we have a beautiful machine in the arena.
https://i.imgur.com/fMXcv4I.jpg
Next up, Onyx:
Named after the programming language, Onyx isn't a good crushed but is quite capable of grappling with opponents. That's how it made it to the heat final.
https://i.imgur.com/0y4KLsv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EXKU1Ix.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wCE9o6U.jpg
Up next, Gory Glory:
My own personal entry to the tournament, Gory Glory is an unsuccessful full body spinner that usually throws itself out the arena. If it manages to stay in the arena though, carnage tends to ensue.
https://i.imgur.com/9dPh3PL.jpg
Next up, Oscar:
A cheaply built machine with a performance record that doesn't really match. It's able to tango with the big boys thanks to that rear lifter that gets under everything. It's not that durable though...
https://i.imgur.com/iGqmIbO.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/j0fmqLd.jpg
Up next, Beatle:
This bot originated from my cousin. It's design has finally evolved to a point where the weapon is actually effective. Made it to the semi-finals in the main tournament but was out-classed by the flippers.
https://i.imgur.com/tKcBoMI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jIqUYqC.jpg
And finally, Silver Knight:
This awesome "walker bot" is actually capable of defending itself against aggressive wheeled robots. It's got a low ground clearance too, but can never score well on aggression or damage.
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
Who's gonna win? Well, you know the drill.
i'll root for Silver Knight cause it looks like a cross from the RW Iron Man and Obwalden Overlord
also you're tempting me to make my own lego bots comp and post it on GTM, should i ?
Go for it dude, I'll check it out!
As for Silver Knight, believe it or not he made it to the FINAL 3.
However, the overall winner is...ONYX! It was between him and Oscar, and Onyx's signature grappling abilities made it easy for him to send Oscar over to Mr.Psycho's hammer. Despite getting hit FIVE TIMES Oscar still was in one piece and moved fine afterwards. However, the hammering swayed my judge decision in favor of the crappy crusher Onyx.
On to the next heat!
First up, Iron Golem:
This depressed looking hammer bot isn't too durable but it's got a deadly looking hammer. Gotta love the little red eyes on it.
https://i.imgur.com/1IjvxrF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uHENYHL.jpg
Next up, Beta Dragonis:
The runner-up of the main tournament, Beta Dragonis is almost unbeatable...except for the fact he get's trashed by spinners pretty quickly.
https://i.imgur.com/Lsu3B3n.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Pr7oJaN.jpg
Up next, Big Bad Biter:
This scary looking crusher doesn't open up that wide, but it bites down HARD. Hasn't had much success though.
https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpg
Next up, Dozer:
Barely seen anything from this newcomer, it's got a good 4 wheel drive system but it's back end falls off easily. The forks also struggle to get underneath anything.
https://i.imgur.com/BOT5irx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/qmiEqV6.jpg
Up next, Debranator:
This powerful 4-bar launcher is the Ziggy of this tournament. Made it to the grand final but got screwed over and thrown oota by Beta Dragonis. Well she get her revenge?
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
And finally, Poseidon:
A good bot back in the day, a few years ago, but now he doesn't have that much to offer. Still can't help but root for the spinner though.
https://i.imgur.com/iKXN4AZ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jPbOqXl.jpg
Who's gonna win? Leave your guesses down below!
Hoping for a Poseidon win
OOOHHH so close! He made it all the way to the finals, and what an epic journey it was.
Earlier on, in the main tournament, we saw abysmal performances by Poseidon in both his heat and the wild cards.
This one was different. He destroyed Big Bad Biter and Iron Golem in his path to victory. He even tore off one of Mr.Psycho's treads! In the final, he faced Debranator, and although he lost, it was THE most intense heat final I've seen in a long time. The first half consisted of Poseidon ducking and dodging Debranator's launcher, getting in some hits but losing on aggression. At first he tore out one of Debra's flipping "fangs", but after that nothing serious. At one point Debranator launched Poseidon nearly oota, but he was stopped by an impact into Cassius Chrome's face.
Then came the final 30 seconds, where he finally did more damage, tearing of Debranator's spoiler and a top armor plate. Final 7 seconds, Debranator launches Poseidon into the path of Mr.Psycho's hammer upside-down. Psycho takes revenge on Poseidon and hammers the vulnerable under belly, killing him. Last 3 seconds, and Debranator launches the dead Poseidon oota, in an epic conclusion to a great match.
Usually, I get pissed when flippers beat spinners, but this was a great fight, and Debranator earned that win.
Final heat, and this time there's 9 robots in it. So, let's get going!
First up, U.S.O
This bot is so powerful, when I accidentally bumped it with my finger when it was spinning at full speed, my finger started BLEEDING. IT was a tiny mark, but remember, these bastards are made out of plastic, PLASTIC! Anyway, this spinner could be a potential champ, as even the strongest of flipper quake in fear of this mighty machine.
https://imgur.com/Y6N4ndT
Next up, Steampunk Reject:
A well built crusher, probably one of the most well made bots here. Mostly made up of Technic parts that are all joined together, this bot is truly a marvel of lego engineering. Also has some fancy srimech arms that can right him from all directions.
https://i.imgur.com/zM8ZV0Y.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vmsLL4g.jpg
Up next, Silver Scarab:
Eh, it's a horizonal crusher. Eh, it's got a srimech. Eh, it's probably gonna lose.
Eh.
https://i.imgur.com/KVluKMC.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kF7VKt8.jpg
Next up, Turret Syndrome:
****! PISS! Get it? It's everyone's incorrect interpretation of Tourettes Syndrome! Anyway, this bot's hammer seems vicious, but it also flies off rather easily.
https://i.imgur.com/3Grj2Vh.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/ZsSpWRk.jpg
Up next, Technofreak:
Sleek, beautiful design here. Made it to the semi-finals of the main tournament. Let's see if he can do it again, or even better.
https://i.imgur.com/wRwmHyY.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/dMqqKgd.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Lg2EIHo.jpg
Next up, Son of Doris:
A good, tough, crusher-bot. Lots of experience and evolved design for this bot. Let's see how he does.
https://i.imgur.com/HIpSpLF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/43SX25Y.jpg
Up next, Rhino:
Pretty easy to see why this bot is called Rhino. It's a durable design, one that I tried to recreate in RA2. I failed miserably at the weapon.
https://i.imgur.com/ZvO6y2f.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vSxnra7.jpg
Next up, White Privelige:
A durable looking design, this crusher has the same claw design as Skorpinoid. Less experience and refinement though.
https://i.imgur.com/PQJZjJz.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/cUV2FHW.jpg
And finally, LOOONG Boi:
So longg. The longest flipper I've ever built. Not sure how durable this bot is, but if it gets under you, prepare to become airborne.
https://imgur.com/vFVUu5x
https://imgur.com/2VreG1p
So, who's winning this beast of a heat? Who are you rooting for? Leave your comments down below!
USO and SteamPunk Reject are both very nice, hopefully USO can pull a win. I like space themed robots
Well...you were close with one of them.
Very close. USO destroyed nearly ALL the competitors at some point in some round, including Steampunk Reject, who wasn't as durable as I had thought. The 5-way melee was amazing, I saw 4 bots try to gang up on USO, and they failed to take him out. They all took damage, one getting completely destroyed and another I think was simply immobilized.
It was the heat final between Rhino and USO, and interestingly enough Rhino was destroyed in a previous round by USO. It was the longest any robot had lasted 1on1 with USO that entire heat, but even Rhino's near indestructable design got obliterated in the final minute. However, he lucked out in the rematch in the heat final. All it took was a hit to the wedge and USO flipped itself over onto it's back, and lost. Rhino was technically the winner, but the true champ in my heart was USO. The pride of all the spinners in Bot Wars.
Anyway, enough chit-chat, here's our American grand final, in all of it's glory:
First up, winner of Heat 1, Blue Moose:
I personally consider this bot the new Toro. He made it to the main Heat 1 finals, the Wild Card 2 finals, and the American Heat 1 finals, and won 2 out of 3. It's a tough design but he has been broken before. There's no spinners in this heat though, so he's basically unbreakable.
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
Next up, winner of Heat 2, Futerra 9000:
A hardcore flipping design here. Known for his rivalry with one of our best flippers, who isn't in this heat by the way. This may be Futerra's heat, but he has fierce competition ahead.
https://i.imgur.com/iMAAX7B.jpg
Up next, Winner of Heat 3, Pumpjack:
This bot's low ground clearance could give him an advantage. The hammer has a tendency to break though.
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
Next up, Winner of Heat 4, Onyx:
This crusher is more of a grappler, and tends to be underestimated. He's vulnerable to flippers, but he can self-right. He can't get back into the arena after being thrown out though.
https://i.imgur.com/0y4KLsv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EXKU1Ix.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wCE9o6U.jpg
Up next, Debranator:
Imagine if this bot fought USO? Anyway, this is the only launcher in Bot Wars, and boy is she good. A strong symbol if female power in Bot Wars, we may just have a Miss America champion here.
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
And finally, winner of Heat 6, Rhino:
This bot eked out a win against a superior machine, but it's not like USO would stand much of a chance against all these flippers. Rhino on the other hand is more maneuverable and agile, and he scores points with that massive weapon.
https://i.imgur.com/ZvO6y2f.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vSxnra7.jpg
So this is the American Championship Final! Next I'll be deciding which bots who failed to make it to the world championship should get a second chance.
Anyways, who do you think is gonna win? Leave your guesses down below...
...and uh...real talk.
The reason why these haven't been daily is because my depression is acting up again. I've lost motivation to do this thing consistently. It's comments like yours that really keep me going. Also, it takes forever for me to type these things out. That's the main problem.
Always Blue Moose
Correct!
Blue Moose is our American representative! It was a tense match between him and Futerra 9000. At one point Futerra got in a scuffle with the house robots, and went as far as to flip Growler, Cassius Chrome, and even Sir Killalot! Mr.Psycho was too heavy. Anyway, he got sent out of the arena by the vengeful Sir.K, who righted himself.
Another notable incident happened with Debranator, who was at one point thrown out of the arena, but then threw herself BACK IN. I forgot which round she lost in though.
Now then, on to the grand final, which is ALSO 9 bots!
First up, Representing the United States of America, Blue Moose:
This bot never seems to dissapoint, making it to the finals of 3 of it's 4 heats. Didn't fare well in the grand final. But how will he do in the world final? Will he even MAKE IT there? He does certainly have a chance, I can tell you that much.
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
Representing the Netherlands, Creamsicle:
A sturdy, creamy design, if that makes any sense. Not that powerful of a weapon, but it's durability is immense. Not sure how well he matches up against other robots though.
https://i.imgur.com/c72ZDNI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kOdb4iB.jpg
Representing the United Arab Emirates, Circuit Chipper:
A legendary, deadly design that seems to be back in his element, at least somewhat. How's he gonna handle all these flippers though? Only one way to find out.
https://i.imgur.com/qU3jkTC.jpg
Representing South Africa, Shadow:
This bot is the epitome of all dark horses. Powerful, new, and black, this bot is gonna have a major influence on this championship.
https://i.imgur.com/GIw9pIr.jpg
Representing China, Snap Dragon:
This tough, Chinese machine has some potential, but that hammer can come off. It can also do damage.
https://i.imgur.com/Wp3uCcI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uD91avj.jpg
Representing Germany, Zerschlagen:
If you replaced the light grey with white, you'd get the colors of the German Flag! Ain't that a nice little gimmick? Anyway, the bot struggles against flippers and is a massive diameter, thus making it a big target, but when it's up to full speed, it'll swat away any flipper, hammer, or spinner for that matter, and maybe even do some damage.
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
Representing Japan, MANslaughter:
The meanest flipper in all of Bot Wars. This bot had a brief stumble after a faulty modification last series, but as we've seen this time around, he's back in his element, making it to the semi-finals of the main tournament, and then winning the Japanese Qualifier, which meant beating our new main tourney champion Kill Bot Kun. (When I say last series I mean the tournaments I had prior to me posting ANY of my Bot Wars stuff on GTM since before I posted my house robots.)
https://i.imgur.com/KSIrtes.jpg
Representing Sweden, Junko:
Made it to a heat final of the main tourney, losing to MANslaughter, and made it to the Wild Card 2 final, losing to Blue Moose. Can he get revenge on either of them this championship?
https://i.imgur.com/ZqPqARZ.jpg
And finally, Representing Russia, Andre:
Once again being the Russian representative here, Andre doesn't have much to offer, other than a lack of severe design flaws, unlike his other fellow Russian competitor Triosk.
https://i.imgur.com/ZqPqARZ.jpg
Who's gonna be the world champion?
LEAVE YOUR GUESSES DOWN BELOW.
Snap Dragon will always be my favourite I'll root for it
Unfortunately, he was the second bot to be eliminated. Strangely enough, the major world powers that were represented in this competition were eliminated early. China, America, then Russia. I think that was the order.
Aaand our world champion is...CREAMSICLE, from the Netherlands!
Yeah, it was a HUGE surprise for me too. Especially because it was against former world champion and Japanese representative MANslaughter. It wouldn't seem to make sense. Manslaughter was faster, had more flipping power, and was overall a more successful robot. Through dumb luck, Creamsicle threw MANslaughter out the arena, thus claiming the title.
Now then, on to the next event, possibly the final event:
The War of the Weapons!
Basically, I have every bot of a certain type of weapon, or range of weapons, fight eachother in qualifiers to see who is the best of their kind. I then take those bot and pit them against eachother to see which bot has the best weapon. Some bots are the only ones of their kind, so they get an automatic pass.
The automatic passes are-
Ramminator, the only ramming spike here.
https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpg
Triosk, the only vertical spinner.
https://imgur.com/DduMl5k
Prowler, the only saw-bot.
https://i.imgur.com/fMXcv4I.jpg
And Silver Knight, the only...sword bot?
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
These bots won't be fighting per se, but, they will be in the War of the Weapons Grand Final.
Now then, let's get to the smaller qualifying bouts first. None of these weapon groups can make a full heat, and I'm not combining them. I'll just cluster them all together as separate, mini heats.
First, here's the Crusher -Up, part 1:
First up, Vice Grip:
This bot looks the part, but can he play the part? Well, he doesn't have a very formidable opponent, so he might actually win something for once. He's done damage before, so he's not totally useless.
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
And his opponent, Silver Scarab:
Has been a bit of a casual here on Bot Wars, not achieving much. Can he accomplish something here, in the war of the weapons?
https://i.imgur.com/KVluKMC.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kF7VKt8.jpg
Then we have Lift-Off!
First up, Oscar:
This hardy little robot can take a beating from Mr.Psycho. And his lifting tail can mess with spinners. But there's no spinners here, in the Lift-Off!
https://i.imgur.com/iGqmIbO.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/j0fmqLd.jpg
Next up, Metal Scorpion:
This bot also is an example of deceiving looks, since he looks like sh** but he performs strongly. He did manage to make it to the heat final of the main tournament, but that's pretty much it. The flywheel has been removed. No secondary weapons in this tournament.
https://i.imgur.com/ExnCQEM.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/n0QHxfR.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/1K5fmy5.jpg
Up next, Dozer:
A bot that tends to have his ass handed to him. Literally. The rear end tends to break off. It has fierce ramming power and can self-right. ANd that's about it. Nothing memorable about his performance comes to mind.
https://i.imgur.com/BOT5irx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/qmiEqV6.jpg
And finally, Beatle:
The lifter has definitely increased in effectiveness thanks to the chassis add-ons. Still has yet to reclaim it's former glory as a rookie finalist, I think.
https://i.imgur.com/tKcBoMI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jIqUYqC.jpg
And finally, SNS, FTW. Sit-n-spin, for the win!
First up, BigFoot:
I initially said this bot was sh**, but when he's equipped with that hammer, things get serious. Can he turn his reputation around, and become something greater?
https://imgur.com/7rlcIrB
Next up, Jester:
Don't ask why this wasn't in the World Championship. We didn't see much of this bot before, will anything memorable happen here?
https://i.imgur.com/YqUF6bM.jpg
And finally, Yin-Yang:
Another robot with no memorability. Hopefully that changes this time around.
https://imgur.com/TDEdeqG
So, who's gonna win the first Cruncher Crunch-up?
Who's gonna win the Lift-Off?
And finally, who's gonna win the SNSFTW?
You know the drill.
Alright, here's the results:
Crusher Crunch-Up 1:
Winner is Vice Grip. He just tore Silver Scarab apart. Tor off his weapon, his decorative top, and his sri-mech. Then he flipped him over.
Sit-n-Spin, For The Win:
From first to last, it went Yin-Yang, Bigfoot, and Jester.
Lift-Off:
Dozer showed dominance through the whole thing, even when he got his ass literally handed to him (his rear drive getting torn off)It was between him and Oscar, and Oscar at one point got smashed at a certain angle by Mr.Psycho, breaking his chassis open. Then it got smashed back shut, then it got torn open again, and this time his robot guts came out. It was a really even fight nonetheless, until that KO.
And now, on to the Axe Attack! (Which only features one axe-bot. The rest are hammers.)
First up, Pumpjack:
The hammer can be quite powerful, until it breaks. Until then though, expect nothing but sheer brutality from this bot.
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
Next up, Hammerhead:
This bot has been around for a while, his design is frail but his weapon is fierce.
https://imgur.com/16mANY8
https://imgur.com/fliBUBi
Up next, Iron Golem:
Damn, it's been a while since I've played Minecraft. Oh, uh, anyway, this bot ain't too impressive. Vulnerable to spinners, but there aren't any this heat, so he may have a chance.
https://i.imgur.com/1IjvxrF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uHENYHL.jpg
Next up, Turret Syndrome:
I REALLY wanted to make a bunch of profane, sudden, offensive tourettes jokes, but I'd rather not get in trouble. Truth is, this bot basically IS a joke. Flimsy weapon, slow moving, and without the hammer, he can't self-right.
https://i.imgur.com/3Grj2Vh.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/ZsSpWRk.jpg
Up next, Rhino:
One of the most durable bots I've ever made. Also has one of the most disappointing weapons ever. You'd think something that big would do damage, but no, it doesn't. It just taps it's opponents.
And finally, from China, Snap Dragon:
When the weapon doesn't fail, neither does this robot. Also quite durable and experienced. He's also kinda...small.
https://i.imgur.com/Wp3uCcI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uD91avj.jpg
Who do you think is gonna win? Leave a comment down below.
Always snap dragon if he's involved
Well...he WAS close. He made it to the final 3, but was ganged up on Iron Golem and Rhino. Thus, it was those two who made it to the finals.
And the winner was...
IRON GOLEM!
I know, it's weird, right? You'd think a bot as unimpressive as Iron Golem would lose to a younger, yet far more promising opponent. But, that's not the case. Although Rhino was very resistant to horizontal spinners, he was quite vulnerable to hammers. Iron Golem took advantage of this in the final. He even celebrated by getting into a fight with Mr.Psycho, and surviving, albeit losing an eye...and his shape.
Now then, on to the Crusher Crunch-Up Part 2!
First up, Skorpinoid:
This seasoned veteran may have more promise than initially expected. Fast, maneuverable, can self-right easily, this bot's only real weakness is spinners, and there's none in this heat. His wheels are exposed and may be vulnerable to crushers.
https://i.imgur.com/zPL1WPm.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/xDZspPV.jpg
Next up, Onyx:
Maybe not the best crusher, but definately one of the best grapplers. Also has a low ground clearance which my serve it in this heat of wedged crushers. His wheels however are also exposed.
https://i.imgur.com/0y4KLsv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/EXKU1Ix.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wCE9o6U.jpg
Up next, Big Bad Biter:
Can the pioneer of crushers also be the king? Let's find out. He's not the prettiest, but he's agile, quick, and can self-right from any direction. But, once again, the wheels are exposed on this one.
https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpg
Next up, Steampunk Reject:
I used to think this bot was durable. Turns out he's not, at least, not when around fellow crushers. He's actually rather quite vulnerable to them. Especially his side sri-mech arms. His weapon however is quite powerful compared to the other bots. He's got good maneuverability as well.
https://i.imgur.com/zM8ZV0Y.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vmsLL4g.jpg
Up next, Son of Doris:
The most durable crusher here, as well as the most experienced. He's moderately successful in every heat he partakes in, almost always making it to the final 3 (I think). His crusher however is rather flimsy. More of a grappler really. Also is unique for his tail sri-mech
https://i.imgur.com/HIpSpLF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/43SX25Y.jpg
And finally, White Privilege:
Aside from the name, there's nothing really spectacular about this bot. Wedge breaks, sri-mech works ok, same speed and strength as most of the other bots in this heat.
Who's gonna win? Leave some guesses down below!
Really guys? No response for 5 days? Well, I guess I shouldn't be too mad. I mean, it's not like it's you guys' job to respond. Still hurts though.
Anyway, the winner was Big Bad Biter, and...I don't remember who he beat in the final. I waited too long for a response for the previous post and ended up forgetting the entire final. All I know is that he won.
I also remembered at the last moment that there was a fight that broke out between the house robots, specifically Sir Killalot and Cassius Chrome. What happened was that Killalot ended up throwing a competitor into CC's face, starting a brawl, with neither bot gaining any real advantage.
With that said, here's something a little more interesting than crushers, or at least I hope so. It's the flipper frenzy! Basically an annihilator-style tournament, numerous flippers will fight in a series of rumbles, with 2 bots getting eliminated each rumble. Those 2 will then have a playoff bout to see who is truly out. It's my little twist off a type of Robot Wars fighting tournament style.
I've also decided to separate some flippers due to their unique nature, giving them automatic qualification as a representative of their version of their weapon. These bots include-
La Machine Reborn:
He's the only front-hinged flipper currently here, so he's the only one of his sub-type.
https://imgur.com/0kfx541
https://imgur.com/udrwGFz
Debranator:
The only launcher-bot here.
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
Aaand now we have our rumble of flippers. Let's check-em out!
First up, Maximus:
Not related to the SHW from the original Battlebots mind you. No, this bot is less impressive. Biggest flipper in Bot Wars history but he's been plagued with design problems. His current main issue is that he's kinda...fragile. He also got his ass kicked by MANslaughter, broke apart just from being flipped too much.
https://i.imgur.com/WABq2PH.jpg
Next up, Looong Boi:
From the biggest to simply the longest, this flipper is seriously well endowed. He also usually flips bots backwards rather than forwards, so his OOTAbility factor isn't too promising.
(Yeah, I just pulled a Johnathan Pearce right there with that OOTAbility factor, deal with it.)
https://imgur.com/vFVUu5x
https://imgur.com/2VreG1p
From Japan, Fallen Angel:
Vicious cutting flipper, almost considered a unique flipper, but not quite there. Although a good piece of plastic, this bot's poor maneuverability can be the death of him. I also forgot to give this bot a description in the Japanese Qualifiers for the world championship.
https://i.imgur.com/G2mNGnj.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/wQmKzNp.jpg
Up next, Caustic Caution:
Or Caustic Caution Reborn. Just gonna call him his original name, from back in the day. This bot has a design flaw in it's flipper that makes it hard to get under other robots, so don't expect much from this one.
https://i.imgur.com/DLp3arB.jpg
Also from Japan, Gaspy:
#Gaspyforthewin. This adorable little flipper briefly set a new standard for flippers in recent tournaments, but now he's just, well, another flipper. He should be thankful that there's no spinners in this mini-tourney, cause those exposed wheels look preeeetty juice to me.
(And with that I get a restraining order filed against me. By a piece of plastic. Go figure.)
https://i.imgur.com/tCrwjA8.jpg
Next up, Technofreak:
You won't see it in the picture, but this bot's knife blade has been removed, so that he's solely just fighting with his flipper, which is arguably his primary weapon. I'm too lazy to take a new picture, because in order to do so, I first have to take the picture on my phone, then send the picture to my dead facebook account, then DOWNLOAD the image onto my computer. Then, get the picture uploaded to imgur, and THEN get the link placed. By the way, here's some pics These don't represent what he looks like for this specific mini-tourney.
https://i.imgur.com/wRwmHyY.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/dMqqKgd.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Lg2EIHo.jpg
Up next, Blue Moose:
One of the best newcomers this tournament, almost always making it to the finals of whatever heat or mini tourney he's in. Not sure how he'll handle against all the other flippers, but I can see why a lot of people put their faith into this bot's capabilities.
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
From South Africa, Shadow:
A promising new flipper who's only real weakness is his exposed wheels. He's been mostly over-shadowed by fellow newcomers and previously mentioned Blue Moose. Let's see how he does here.
https://i.imgur.com/GIw9pIr.jpg
Next up, Futerra 9000:
A good all-around competitor. He was also the previous flipper frenzy champion, grasping the win from his rival, Beta Dragonis. Let's see if he can win again, with this new tournament bracket, and new bots. He also has a newfound grudge against Blue Moose, who beat him in the American Championship's Grand Final.
https://i.imgur.com/iMAAX7B.jpg
From the Netherlands, and World Champion, Creamsicle:
I'm still amazed this bot beat MANslaughter in the World Championship Finals. I wonder if he can pull off a dumb-luck victory again...
https://i.imgur.com/c72ZDNI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kOdb4iB.jpg
Up next, The Tornado of Terror:
Don't ask why this bot wasn't in the world championship. Anyway, this bot has a lot of power behind the weapon that wasn't even intended for her in the first place. Originally she was gonna be a spinner, hence the name.
https://imgur.com/HQ4Wq0Y
Next up, Springer:
Last time I saw this bot, it was reduced to a bunch of lego pieces by Nonja. Let's see how the one-and-only spring-powered flipping arm can handle against these "CO2 powered" beasts of flippers.
https://i.imgur.com/3L51URv.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GvH27mf.jpg
Up next, from Japan, and our reigning champion, Kill-Bot-Kun
This perky little robot doesn't seem like a champion, but, it is. It is THE champion of Bot Wars currently and also Japanese "champion" after the World Championship Japanese Qualifiers. Can it win even MORE?
https://i.imgur.com/PG0NYTK.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uyCaJUZ.jpg
Next up, Beta Dragonis:
He did make it to the final two in last tournament's Flipper Frenzy. Now that the format's changed, how will he do this time? He's somewhat fragile to spinners, but this is the Flipper Frenzy, so durability isn't really his concern. The flipper is unique in that it can't flip itself over by simply firing, and yet it's fully capable of self-righting. Great engineering, if I don't say so myself.
https://i.imgur.com/Lsu3B3n.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/Pr7oJaN.jpg
Up next, from Japan, MANslaughter:
The manliest bot we have here. Brutal fighter, can break robots just by flipping them to death. Powerful drive, powerful weapon, powerful attitude. His one weakness? He's not the best at getting underneath other bots.
https://i.imgur.com/KSIrtes.jpg
And finally, Shazam:
Good drive and power, not the best at getting under robots though, and has an issue with his ground-clearance. Thankfully he can self-right. (Ok, all the robots in this annihilator can self-right.) Still, I don't expect much from this one.
https://i.imgur.com/P58AiFx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/JWcAne7.jpg
Who's gonna win? Leave a comment down below!
I remember Debrinator being a beast in the main comp
She automatically goes through on the basis that she's the only 4-bar launcher bot in Bot Wars.
Gaspy, as ever. Although Shazam is quite nice as well.
Umm...I think it was Gaspy who lost first, maybe second.
Shazam lost half-way through.
The most noticeable thing that occured throughout the first half of the Flipper Frenzy bouts was that Maximus kept picking a fight with MANslaughter, the bot that threw him into the wall 4 times in a row in the main tourney. He actually achieved vengeance, throwing MANslaughter out the arena and MANslaughter later losing the subsequent play-off bout.
And the winner of the Flipper Frenzy is...
BLUE MOOSE!
It was between him and Shadow. The two were evenly matched, but Shadow kept on getting into Mr.Psycho's corner, taking hits from his hammer. Eventually, Mr.Psycho knocked loose the internals on Shadow, and he was eliminated. While Sir Killalot snipped wheels and tossed Shadow around, Blue Moose attempted to lift Mr.Psycho, but failed. Psycho responded by pummeling Blue Moose with his hammer, but eventually he got toppled onto his side. Just as Killalot was about to intervene, the timer went out.
With that said, I'm making an announcement:
Since I'm having variants of weapon types count as a separate category from the main, the axe-bot Rhino is reinstated into the competition, as the sole axe-bot. The 5 hammer bots he fought will have a re-match, in the form of a small rumble.
In case you don't remember the other bots from the hammer-bot-special, here's the list. One of these bots will move on as the best hammer bot in the competition.
First up, Turret Syndrome:
If the hammer wasn't complete and utter sh**e, he might just win for once. He literally usually only gets ONE hit before the hammer comes off. Seriously.
https://i.imgur.com/3Grj2Vh.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/ZsSpWRk.jpg
Next up, Iron Golem:
The original axe-attack-that-mostly-featured-hammers was won by this bot. Can he do it again? On I side note, I played Minecraft again. Quite a refreshed experience playing with blocks.
https://i.imgur.com/1IjvxrF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uHENYHL.jpg
Up next, Hammerhead:
Crazy, powerful, but very fragile. Can be broken easily, especially by other hammers.
https://imgur.com/16mANY8
https://imgur.com/fliBUBi
From China, Snap Dragon:
Perhaps this time we'll see a win from the dragon? He did well last time, only losing because he was ganged up on by Iron Golem and Rhino. With Rhino out of the picture, can he have a better chance?
https://i.imgur.com/Wp3uCcI.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/uD91avj.jpg
And finally, Pumpjack:
I love that name, seriously. Named after an oil pump, Pumpjack is a big, bulky robot with a damaging, yet also easily damaged hammer. He's reasonably durable against hammer-bots, as I would learn in the original Axe-Attack. His rear can get damaged, but that's mostly it. All the vital areas are well protected.
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
So, who's gonna win this time? Leave your guesses down below!
I'm still going to stick with Snap Dragon even thought he always lets me down, It's a bit like an abusive relationship we have
XD
Unfortunately, Snap Dragon performed even worse this time around, his batteries once again getting dislocated, TWICE.
No the winner was Pumpjack, and he had to beat Iron Golem in the final. And OH MY GOD IT WAS BORING! Jesus Christ, I couldn't even commentate on it! It was SOO BAD.
Anyway, time to wash that bad taste outta my mouth with the final weapons qualifier: The Spin-Off!
3 different kinds of horizontal spinners will be tested: Full Body Spinner, Directional Spinner, and Full Body Spinner. There's 12 bots, and each one will participate in a destruction-derby style competition where they destroy as much stuff as possible within a certain time limit.
Here's the bots! One bot from each category will move on to the weapon war finals.
Overhead Spinners:
First up, Chain of Death:
Can this be his moment to shine? Or is it a she? What gender do you think this robot is? Anyway, the bot has never done any real damage before, so don't put much faith into this one.
https://i.imgur.com/OpEMWHm.jpg
And, from Germany, Zerschlagen:
A decent spinner with decent stats, perhaps he'll do decently in this exhibition series.
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
Directional Spinners:
First up, All American Redneck:
This bot was the pioneer of directional spinners in Bot Wars...I think. Ok, well, not the first, but he sure as hell made it look good! It's a tad outdated but overall a decent design, that's been tested by time.

https://i.imgur.com/EHo9x30.jpg
Next up, Police Brutality:
This bot surprised me when it made it to the first American heat final. But that was more because of maneuverability than damage capacity. I wouldn't bet on this one.
https://imgur.com/NsTK8IP
https://imgur.com/eVfJofW
Up next, Nonja:
This bot was also quite a surprise, albeit for different reasons. Initially starting life as a sub-par, unstable spinner, this bot now has the ability to tear opponents to shreds. This one has my money on it.
https://i.imgur.com/YsnGzbw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/tTH10Km.jpg
From Russia, Andre:
Aside from being the Russian representative in the World Championship, TWICE, it hasn't achieved much else. Not sure about the damage factor on this robot.
https://imgur.com/FzmlwaH
And finally, From Sweden, Junko:
Ehhh, this bot ain't that dangerous, it's speed and agility is good, but that's about it. At least it's not as bad as Police Brutality.
https://i.imgur.com/ZqPqARZ.jpg
Full Body Spinners:
First up, Gory Glory:
My personal entry to the series, and I'm gonna retire it. This is it's final chance to make a good name for itself, since it's mostly been a failure. I MIGHT upgrade it one more time for next tournament, but I don't know. It's very powerful, but has the annoying habit of flipping itself over. Good thing the Refbot will be present to help any robot that gets stuck.
https://i.imgur.com/9dPh3PL.jpg
Next up, Poseidon:
This bot has a long story. Was a legend years ago, retired, then came back for this tournament, only to be beaten senseless twice in the main tournament. But then we had the American Championship, where it made it to the heat final, after destroying EVERYTHING in sight, even managing to damage the almighty Debranator in it's final match. Perhaps it's still got some spunk?
https://i.imgur.com/iKXN4AZ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/jPbOqXl.jpg
From the United Arab Emirates, Circuit Chipper:
Another legendary spinner, this one being the bot that popularized the full body spinner design. It's been doing...meh, as of recently. Probably another bot on the brink of retirement.
https://i.imgur.com/qU3jkTC.jpg
And finally, U.S.O
This bot is probably gonna win the Full Body SPinner category, just sayin'.
https://imgur.com/Y6N4ndT
Now, you're probably wondering what exactly these bots are destroying, so, I'll show you. Most of these came from a lego set I bought a month ago for spare parts, but some of the designs I made myself:
First up, SPACESHAP!
Anyone get the reference to the Lego Movie? How about the other reference that this ship's design is directly inspired by the old lego space sets? No, just me? Crap. It features little firing missiles, but those aren't gonna do anything to me bots.
https://imgur.com/mDX6RQZ
Next up, Orglaph The Troll Dragon...Thing...
I made this one out of spare parts from the set, not so bad if I don't say so myself. Gonna get easily torn to bits though, hopefully none of the parts go missing. That's what I'm worried most about this qualifier.
https://imgur.com/8wBeh9W
Up next, Derp, The Culinary Calamari:
I was conflicted on whether or not something this adorably should be put in the path if a vicious spinner. I figured derpy eyes would mean the little guy doesn't care.
https://imgur.com/GbKu8Gh
Next up, Rocket Car:
Extra points to anyone who can tear out the minifigure. See those front wheels? That's why I bought this set.
https://imgur.com/rlPHodb
Up next, The Castle:
Featuring a miniature knight made from spare parts! I actually built most of this simply by looking at the picture of it on the set box.
https://imgur.com/o1pNDQ4
And finally, Super Car:
This is one I'm quite proud of. The set included these extra car parts and wheels, but there was no instructions for what to do with them. Disappointed, I opted to make my own car. By far the most durable thing on here. Again, extra points if the minifigure is torn out.
https://imgur.com/56sFQJC
I'll award different amounts of points for different things getting damaged or destroyed. HOPEFULLY I can still collect all the pieces by the end of it.
Who will be our 3 winners? Leave your guesses down below!
Aaaand it's been decided! I had a play-off battle between Circuit Chipper and U.S.O, and it ended in 2 hits.
The winner...
CIRCUIT CHIPPER!
Yup, he still moves through. His weapon destroyed U.S.O's structural integrity.
With that being said and done, it's time for the ULTIMATE finale, a round-robin style tournament where everyone fights each other 1-on-1.
Let's introduce our competitors!
First up, from the United Arab Emirates, Circuit Chipper.
Shell Spinnah! (leave a comment if you get the reference.)
This bot is now reliving it's prime, I get the feeling this old beast will beat enough opponents to make it to the top 3 at least. It's only real issue is the lack of a sri-mech.
https://i.imgur.com/qU3jkTC.jpg
Next up, La Machine Reborn.
Front-hinged Flippah!
Initially was gonna have to partake in the flipper-frenzy, but I decided to exclude him on the basis that he's the only front-hinged flipper here, so he automatically gets a pass.
https://imgur.com/0kfx541
https://imgur.com/udrwGFz
Up next, Vice Grip.
Horizontal Crushah!
The sleek and beautiful Vice Grip tore apart Silver Scarab to get here.
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
Next up, Debranator.
Launchuh!
Another bot that was cut from the flipper-frenzy, due to unique weapon design being enough to qualify for the finals This bot is the queen of OOTA flips. Her only real weakness is other flippers.
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
Up next, Nonja.
Directional, Horizontal Spinnah!
A once mediocre robot turned badass, this bot may not get retired after all, with a performance as good as this.
https://i.imgur.com/YsnGzbw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/tTH10Km.jpg
Next up, Big Bad Biter.
Vertical Crushah!
It only makes sense for the pioneer of Bot Wars crushers to be here. Powerful, maneuverable, all that's wrong with this robot is durability.
https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpg
Up next, Blue Moose.
Flippah!
This bot may not look like it, but he''s the absolute best newcomer in this series, making to the final of almost EVERY heat, being the American champion and flipper-frenzy champion. Should do well.
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
Next up, Silver Knight.
Uhh...ROBOT!
He has a sword, shield, and swag. This bot managed to beat the hyper aggressive Ramminator, and made it to the final 3 of his main tourney heat.
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
Up Next, Pumpjack.
Hammah Bawt!
I'm getting flashbacks of how horrendously boring his revised heat was that got him here. Let's just move along.
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
Next up, Yin-Yang.
Sit'n'Spinnah!
A bland, bi-racial robot. His powerful drive is what got him here, he doesn't do much damage.
https://imgur.com/TDEdeqG
Up next, Rhino.
Axe Bawt!
One of the most spinner-resistant designs here. He's vulnerable to hammers though. He lost the initial hammer tournament, but gained qualification for the War of the Weapons finale by being reinstated as the only axe-bot. I tried to remake this bot in RA2. I couldn't replicate the cartoonishly huge hybrid axe. Wait...I already told you that story...F**K!
https://i.imgur.com/ZvO6y2f.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vSxnra7.jpg
Next up, Prowler.
Saw Bawt!
This unique, exotic design has the ability to self-right. It's more of a show bot though, with a weak weapon, poor maneuverability, and poor armor. I don't think this bot will score a single win. Maybe against Silver Knight.
https://i.imgur.com/fMXcv4I.jpg
Up next, Ramminator.
Ramm-Bawt!
This bot broke it's own spike because its drive was so powerful, and he's now sporting a nice black one (not pictured). The wheels can fall off, but aside from that he's a tough design. Always scores high on aggression. He's even thrown HIMSELF Oota a few times. He's also got a bone to pick with Silver Knight, for the fight they had in the main competition.
https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpg
Next up, Dozer.
Forklift Bawt!
This bot usually gets torn in half...and survives. Hopefully next tournament they get a more durable design. Decent defensive weaponry and a good drive setup, and also he can self-right. Problem is, he struggles to get underneath opponents.
https://i.imgur.com/BOT5irx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/qmiEqV6.jpg
From Russia, Triosk.
Vertical Spinnah!
Aside from the HUGE design flaw where he can get stranded on his side, this bot is pretty good. It has the only vertical spinner in this competition.
https://imgur.com/DduMl5k
And finally, from Germany, Zerschlagen.
Overhead Spinnah!
A lunatic german spinning machine, I'm genuinely curious to see how well he performs here, since I always seems to be wrong about how he performs. Now we will truly know.
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
A lot of bots, and this is the ULTIMATE finale to Bot Wars, the War of the Weapon Finale! It's a round-robin-style tournament, where each bot fights each other, we means we will know FOR SURE, which one of these bots is the best of the best! There's 16 bots, so there's gonna be 120 fights in total, so I'll have to break it up into parts. It'll take me a while to do all the fights. 15 rounds with 8 fights each.
Who do you think will win the most rounds? Leave a comment down below!
Aaall right! Time for the first round!
As I've mentioned before, there will be 15 round, each round having 8 fight. A Bot Wars style-heat has 10 fights, so this should work.
This will be the match-ups for the first round:
Vice Grip
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
VS
Triosk
https://imgur.com/DduMl5k
If Triosk doesn't fall on his side, he might be able to win. Though I may be underestimating the power of Vice Grip's jaws.
Prowler
https://i.imgur.com/fMXcv4I.jpg
VS
Dozer
https://i.imgur.com/BOT5irx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/qmiEqV6.jpg
Let's be real here, any fight Prowler is in will probably end with him losing.
Rhino
https://i.imgur.com/ZvO6y2f.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vSxnra7.jpg
VS
Zerschlagen
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
If Rhino could handle U.S.O, he can definitely handle Zerschlagen. He's even got the right weapon for beating him.
Yin-Yang
https://imgur.com/TDEdeqG
VS
Pumpjack
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
Oooh, any bot could win in this one, I'm not to sure. If Yin-Yang can handle Pumpjack's hammer, he could win, but I know his weapons will be vulnerable to breaking off, and that compromises his structural integrity.
Ramminator
https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpg
VS
Big Bad Biter
https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpg
I'm not sure how the big, black, hard throbbing cock-spike of Ramminator can handle the bad oral of Big Bad Biter. I think the dick will win.
(Does anyone appreciate my commentaries? Plz comment.)
La Machine Reborn
https://imgur.com/0kfx541
https://imgur.com/udrwGFz
VS
Circuit Chipper
https://i.imgur.com/qU3jkTC.jpg
La Machine is gonna get torn apart so badly, he may not be able to fight in the future rounds
Debranator
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
VS
Silver Knight
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
Silver Knight MAY be a bit too heavy to launch....pffft! Nah, he's screwed.
Blue Moose
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
VS
Nonja
https://i.imgur.com/YsnGzbw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/tTH10Km.jpg
Nice grudge match we have goin' here. I think the score between the 2 is 1-1, one win and one loss apiece. This will be the tie-breaker.
8 rounds, 8 bots, 8 winners, 8 losers.
Which 8 bots do you think will be the winners?! Leave a comment below, and for the love of GAWD, don't just list ONE robot's name. Is it really that hard to type these bot names?
Here's the results!
Vice Grip VS Triosk. Winner: Triosk
It was a pretty bland fight, neither bot's weapons were able to take the other one out. Triosk however got some good hits near the end, thus securing his win.
Prowler VS Dozer. Winner: Prowler
Prowler went ape-sh** crazy on Dozer, using its weird design to crawl all over Dozer, who's rear end literally FELL off early on in the fight. Prowler's constant aggressive attack combine with some good pushing gave him the win.
Rhino VS Zerschlagen. Winner: Rhino
Zerschlagen put up a decent effort against Rhino, swatting away his opponent's axe weaponry numerous times. However, at one point Zerschlagen got his weapon stuck on the low wall of the arena, getting pinned and losing.
Yin-Yang VS Pumpjack. Winner: Pumpjack
Pumpjack's weaponry alone didn't do much. No, it was Mr Psycho's hammer that did Yin-Yang in, after he pushed Pumpjack into the corner, endangering both him and his opponent at the claws of Mr.Psycho.
Ramminator VS Big Bad Biter. Winner: Big Bad Biter
Big Bad Biter simply picked off all of Ramminator's wheels, securing his win.
La Machine Reborn VS Circuit Chipper. Winner: La Machine Reborn
Yup, that's right, La Machine Reborn secured the win over Circuit Chipper by flipping him out of the arena. (Ok, it was more like pushing him over the low arena wall.)
Debranator VS Silver Knight. Winner: Debranator
Do I even need to explain? An unceremonious Oota for our knight of the realm. (The knight that isn't Killalot.)
Blue Moose VS Nonja. Winner: Blue Moose
Blue Moose was always the superior machine, enduring some hits before out-maneuvering and flipping Nonja Oota.
All right, on to round 2!
Rhino
https://i.imgur.com/ZvO6y2f.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/vSxnra7.jpg
VS
Dozer
https://i.imgur.com/BOT5irx.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/qmiEqV6.jpg
Rhino should be able to literally beat Dozer's ass...off.
Vice Grip
https://i.imgur.com/tYCuX29.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/IZ3mhVz.jpg
VS
Ramminator
https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpg
These bots fought before. Ramminator won in one hit, straight into Vice Grip's center, stabbing out his insides. It was a truly memorable moment.
Prowler
https://i.imgur.com/fMXcv4I.jpg
VS
Pumpjack
https://i.imgur.com/h8bAkQN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/5ULKaJm.jpg
I get the feeling Prowler won't be able to survive getting repeatedly hit by the hammer. Then again, he may just pull off another surprise.
Triosk
https://imgur.com/DduMl5k
VS
Zerschlagen
https://i.imgur.com/vSWSg0I.jpg
Germany vs Russia? It's like WW2 all over again. Anyway, I get the feeling Zerschlagen will persevere, his weaponry has been more effective than Triosk's has EVER been in his 3-year career. That's actually kinda depressing.
Yin-Yang
https://imgur.com/TDEdeqG
VS
Circuit Chipper
https://i.imgur.com/qU3jkTC.jpg
I get the feeling Yin-Yang will get destroyed in this round too.
Debranator
https://i.imgur.com/bjW5XFr.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/y3YxLsN.jpg
VS
Big Bad Biter
https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpg
I'm pretty sure Debranator's gonna be fine.
La Machine Reborn
https://imgur.com/0kfx541
https://imgur.com/udrwGFz
VS
Nonja
https://i.imgur.com/YsnGzbw.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/tTH10Km.jpg
I'm still surprised he beat Circuit Chipper. Can La Machine Reborn also defeat Nonja, who has less destructive power but more maneuverability? I can't wait to find out.
Blue Moose
https://i.imgur.com/BnZhrX3.jpg
VS
Silver Knight
https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpg
Blue Moose isn't as good at Oota flips as Debranator, but he should be fine against the sluggish Silver Knight. I mean, what can he do? Poke him with his sword? He's boned.
Who's gonna win? Leave a prediction down below!
I'll see you guys...uhh...probably not tomorrow, most likely the next day. I'll be working on my Mr.Psycho replica in DSL2.2
**** it, more posts together it is. 4th post in a row, doesn't matter.
Anyway, here's the results of the previous round, this time with full fight summaries. Here we go!
Rhino VS Dozer
Winner: Dozer
Dozer dominated the battle overturning Rhino at least 4 times, Rhino's weaponry was helpless due to being constantly off the ground. Near the end Rhino was high-centered on the wall, and counted out. Sir Killalot and Sgt Bash went in for the kill, Killalot damaging Rhino's right wheel. As bash came in to attack, Rhino used his axe to break a decorative panel off of him. Inspired by this, Dozer flips over Sgt.Bash several times, Bash trying to retaliate by attacking one of Dozer's wheels, but failing to make an impact. Sir Killalot finished removing Rhino's right wheel as the timer went off, and cease was called.
Vice Grip VS Ramminator
Winner: Vice Grip
Amusingly, in order to avoid getting his insides spiked out again like they did the last time these two bots fought, Vice Grip closes his claws to protect his center. This works as the fight begins. Ramminator makes numerous charges, but none of them did damage. They got stuck together once, maybe twice, and at one point, Ramminator backed into Mr.Psycho's corner. He got hit by the hammer, and his back right wheel jammed up, partly coming off the axle. The fight continues with more ramming and pushing into the walls, Vice Grip having slightly more control. Ramminator backs into Psycho's corner a few times, but escapes each time. Finally, Vice Grip drove Ramminator into Mr.Psycho's corner, and critical damage was done to Ramminator's chassis, the entire bottom plate partially detaching. After a little more fighting and a series of slick maneuvers, Vice Grip once again got Ramminator into Psycho's corner, where they both got hammered. Ramminator's chassis began to collapse, one of his wheels with the motor fell out. One more hit and Ramminator's entire bottom plate breaks off, destroying the robot. A mere few seconds later, the timer goes off.
Prowler VS Pumpjack
Winner: Pumpjack
A lot happened in this fight. Prowler's saw blade simply fell off near the beginning of the fight the moment it was lowered onto the floor. He later got a hammer blow from Pumjack that damaged his chassis, with the armor almost being broken off. Shortly afterwards, Pumpjack broke off his hammer. The two constantly shoved eachother, Prowler's unusual design making it hard for Pumpjack to move him around. Pumpjack tried using his stump arm as a weapon and whacked at Prowler, but that achieved nothing. Later, they got close to Cassius Chrome. Cassius Chrome used a right hook and that finished loosening Prowler's armor, breaking most of it off. As he continued fighting Pumpjack, the rest of Prowler's armor came loose. At one point he was rammed into the low arena wall, and his left front wheel got caught in the arena wall, pinning him there. In an act of desperation, Prowler articulated it's chassis and ended up pulling off his front left wheel, motor included. The rest of the fight consisted of a crippled Prowler struggling to balance itself in a downhill pushing match against Pumpjack. The timer eventually went off.
Triosk VS Zerschlagen
Winner: Zerschlagen
Triosk didn't stand a chance. Not only did Zerschlagen's weapon swat him away, it also damaged the structural frame holding together his vertical spinner. One of the supporting arms on Triosk was broken, and every time he was upside-down, he would wobble around and his weapon hit the floor. His weapon would drag him one way whilst his wheel pulled him the other. At one point, Triosk's spinner got jammed, due to the frame being bent. It got bent back later on. Triosk kept charging and Zerschlagen kept knocking him around, until finally, Triosk's chassis broke, and he was split in two. However, the half that had the internals was still able to move, even after getting punted around by Zerschlagen. Eventually Shunt finished him off.
Yin-Yang VS Circuit Chipper
Winner: Yin-Yang
Fight was simple. Circuit Chipper bounced off of Yin-Yang. Yin-Yang got underneath him and then managed to ram him into the low arena wall so hard Circuit Chipper toppled over and went Oota.
Debranator VS Big Bad Biter
Winner: Debranator
This fight was less one-sided than I anticipated. Debranator was never able to throw Big Bad Biter's wacky ass design Oota, instead just tossing him around, scoring points. BBB managed to get Debranator in his jaw several times, with varying results. The first time he did it Debranator fired her weapon while in BBB's clutches, breaking his armor off. However, it stayed on until later, when it eventually fell off. Another time BBB was able to bring Debranator to Dead Metal, twice, even getting his beak into her launching mechanism and lifting her up in the air. Debranator launched BBB several more times until finally, the armorless chassis of BBB broke apart, his drive and crushing mechanism breaking off of his baseplate, destroying him. Basically, he was destroyed by a launcher weapon. Wow.
La Machine Reborn VS Nonja
Winner: Nonja
La Machine aggressively pursued Nonja all over the arena, flipping him several times. However, at the same time, his chassis was getting damaged with every hit he took from Nonja. At one point he played hot-potato with Cassius Chrome, and Nonja was the potato. Nonja got his revenge though, as he continuously did more and more damage. Eventually La Machine tried to fire his weapon, only for it to break free from his chassis and fly out. Finally, he was torn apart by Nonja. First his front end was destroyed further. La Machine put his back up against Nonja, since it was in better condition, but all this did was delay the inevitable. Nonja eventually got to the front of La Machine and hit his open chassis once again, knocking loose one of his batteries. Then he hit him on the side, and La Machine was reduced to splinters. His chassis catastrophically fell apart and there were pieces all over the arena corner. It was hard trying to put him back together.
Blue Moose VS Silver Knight
Winner: Blue Moose
Blue Moose ran into several major problems in this bout. 1: His flipping "fangs" kept getting stuck in my carpet, AKA the arena floor. 2: The massive size of Silver Knight combined with the low surface area of Blue Moose's flipper made it difficult for him to get any leverage with his flipper. 3: Silver Knight's articulated upper half kept deflecting and getting in the way of Blue Moose's flipper, and constantly acted as a sri-mech. Anyway, at one point Silver Knight was thrown into Shunt's corner, and his head was right within firing range of Shunt's axe. Knowing Shunt and his love of cleaving heads (Just ask Major Tom, Banshee, and Elvis), he tried to decapitate Silver Knight. The first shot missed, and the second shot was blocked by Silver Knight using his shield. Furious, Shunt drives out of his corner, shoving the knight around, against the rules, trying to get into a position where he could take his head off. Silver Knight's articulated upper half made this VERY difficult. Eventually, Shunt got into position, and finally delivered a hit to Silver Knight's head...no damage done. To top that off, Shunt's axe broke off in this hit. Finally, to add some salt to the wound, Blue Moose flipped Shunt out of the way in an attempt to flip Blue Moose Oota. He failed. Sergeant Bash was given permission to attack Blue Moose, since he attacked Shunt, but Sgt.Bash couldn't do anything to damage Blue Moose's armor. Later, Refbot righted Shunt, who then proceeded to charge at Blue Moose in the closing final seconds.
Can we get a #PoorShunt in the comments please? Then again, there may not be any.
On to Round 3! (I'm not doing predictions this time, cause I think it jinxes the fights.)

So, who are you guys rooting for?
Ok, sorry for the delay, I was typing ALL kinds of descriptions and stuff and at the last second I accidentally clicked exit tab. I tried reopening it and it didn't save ANYTHING. It briefly ruined my interest in running this tournament. It's difficult, I enjoy doing the tournaments, but I hate all the writing. But, if I ever want to remember these fights, let alone share them with you, I need to do it.
Here's the results of last round:
Triosk VS Ramminator
Winner: Ramminator
For this match, Ramminator used their anti-spinner setup. Just a couple of bendy bionicle tubes. Anyway, Ramminator was relentless in this fight. He knocked Triosk on his side early on, but rather than leave him there, Ramminator kept hitting him and knocked him back onto his wheels. Triosk struggled to position his weapon due to Ramminator's superior maneuverability. He got some shots on the anti-spinner-device, but no damage was done. In fact, at one point it knocked him onto his back. Later, he was knocked on his side yet again. Ramminator once again knocked him back onto his wheels, also narrowly escaping Sergeant Bash. The fight continued onwards and 3 things happened: 1: Triosk was knocked on his side again, and then knocked back. 2: Ramminator once again got into Sgt.Bash's corner, this time getting his back right wheel torn off. And 3: Triosk got a good hit on Ramminator. The fight ended with the two tangled up, Triosk's leg in Ramminator's anti-spinner-device.
Rhino VS Pumpjack
Winner: Pumpjack
The fight started with both bots going head to head, hammer to axe, whalloping each other but causing no damage. Soon Pumpjack's hammer breaks off of Rhino's axe. Pumpjack then repeatedly gets underneath Rhino and shoves him all over the arena, getting axed at along the way. One time Rhino was pushed into Sir Killalot's corner. Killalot grabbed Rhino and tossed him around. It almost happened a second time, but Rhino escaped. Rhino made numerous shot's at Pumpjack, but the hits did nothing. He then got slammed into Dead Metal's corner, and gets pinned to the wall. Dead Metal grinds his blade onto Rhino, before Refbot moves him aside to see if Rhino was still mobile. Rhino escapes, and gets revenge by driving Pumpjack into Sir Killalot's corner. Pumpjack is grabbed and then tossed across the arena. The fight then ends.
Vice Grip VS Debranator
Winner: Debranator
Debranator won, but it wasn't easy. Vice Grip kept strategically avoiding hitting Debranator head-on. However, at certain points, he failed, with Debranator getting underneath him, only for Vice Grip to escape at the last second. He ended up getting hammered by Mr.Psycho at one point, cause a claw and a piece of his chassis to fall off. The fight then had more chasing and flipping, Vice Grip coming across Mr.Psycho again, but avoiding damage this time. The fight went on, then he encountered Psycho a 3rd time, and he wasn't too lucky, getting hammered again and his chassis beginning to break apart. This slowed Vice Grip down enough that Debranator could swoop in, and flip him out of the arena.
Prowler VS Circuit Chipper
Winner: Circuit Chipper
Circuit Chipper obviously won, but Prowler fought hard. He started off using his saw arm as an anti-spinner-device, and successfully charged at Circuit Chipper 5-10 times. At one point his back left wheel was hit, and got loosened, wobbling from then on. Eventually Circuit Chipper destroyed the saw arm of Prowler, which meant he had to do head-on attacks. This worked for a little while, Prowler surviving numerous hits at first, but soon he was hit at a certain angle, his front right wheel was torn off. Later, a few more hits, and his back left wheel comes off finally. Then, in one final, spectacular hit, Circuit Chipper hit's Prowler's chassis, destroying some of the armor, and sending him hurdling over the lower arena wall.
Dozer VS Zerschlagen
Winner: Zerschlagen
Dozer Box-rushed Zerschlagen first thing, and managed to stop his weapon. However, the weapon itself was able to shove Dozer out of the way, combined with Zerschlagen's drive. As a result, he managed to escape and spin up to full speed. Dozer slowly turned (he can't turn on the spot) and went for another charge, but got swatted away. This happened a few times. At one point Dozer got his back left wheel torn off. He rammed a few more times, at one point causing Zerschlagen to destabilize, spinning out of control. He landed on his wheels, but had to spin his weapon back up. After getting shoved by Dozer a little, Zerschlagen escaped long enough to spin his weapon back up to speed. He swatted Dozer a few more times, until eventually, inevitably, Dozer's rear-end came off. He was then batted into a wall, and Zerschlagen then proceeded to destroy his weakened chassis, ending the fight.
Yin-Yang VS Nonja
Winner: Nonja
Both bots were aggressive towards each other, no hesitation. They constantly hit each other, Yin-Yang's SNS design vs Nonja's HS design. Both bots got hits that threw the other aside. At one point Yin-Yang knocked Nonja over, high-centering himself on his opponent, and when Nonja used his srimech, Yin-Yang was flipped over. As time progressed, it became clear each bot had an advantage and disadvantage: Yin-Yang wasn't durable enough to fully withstand Nonja's weapon, but his drive setup was superior and enabled him to constantly charge and attack Nonja. Nonja was less capable of driving, but his damage capabilities were far superior, and was still quick enough to avoid some of Yin-Yang's charges. Soon, Yin-Yang lost both his blades, along with the sides of his chassis. At one point the white top panel popped off. Finally, he was pushed into a wall and went THROUGH the lower arena wall, which didn't count as an Oota. As he drove back in, Nonja's weapon hit him at full speed, several times, wearing him down. Yin-Yang tried to escape, but ended up getting trapped in the bottom left arena corner. There he got torn up pretty badly, with nearly ALL of his white armor getting torn off. Then the fight ended.
Blue Moose VS Big Bad Biter
Winner: Blue Moose
First things first, Blue Moose flips Big Bad Biter up into the air, landing on his rear mini-wheels. Big Bad Biter gets a hold of Blue Moose and, despite being unable to damage him, managed to drive Blue Moose into Dead Metal, who sawed at him for a little. Big Bad Biter let go eventually (since that's the rules) and ended up getting assaulted by Blue Moose, getting thrown into the arena wall on his rear. As he got back onto his wheels, Blue Moose got under and flipped him Oota, ending the fight.
La Machine Reborn VS Silver Knight
Winner: La Machine Reborn
La Machine had difficulty getting underneath Silver Knight at all. Silver Knight was also able to use his shield to block out La Machine's flipper, as it only ended up pushing him. La Machine wasn't tall enough however to be affected by Silver Knight's sword. The bout continued being a stalemate, with Silver Knight's 360 degree rotating upper half ensuring that it would be difficult for La Machine to get under, or even close enough for a flip. At one point he slipped up, and La Machine shoved him into a corner. He got underneath, and then TRIED throwing him Oota. First try failed, second try tossed Silver Knight onto the bottom left corner pole of the arena, in a position that was impossible for me to remember or recreate. Just trust me on this. Somehow stuck, Silver Knight used his moving arms and swivel torso, only to ensure his loss, as rather than going back IN the arena, he got OUT, thus ending the round.

Who's gonna win? Well, hopefully I'll post the results soon. I gotta get this tournament finished before my family and I start moving to a new house.
Giving Dozer the win if it can pin its opponent
Debranator is a menace, but I hope Triosk would win
Hopefully Circuit Breaker, it looks pretty cool
Blue Moose
Prowler for the meme
Ramminator
Yin Yang
Rooting for La Machine Reborn
Gotta say, even though I don't really post here much, these bots are really cool!
Thanks dude! Sorry for the late reply, I tend to reply along with posting the next round, and since posting the next round is such a chore, I kinda don't do these as often.
Because of that, starting next round I'm just gonna post the fight results, and not do summaries. Just WAY too much work.
But for now, here's this:
Dozer VS Pumpjack
Winner: Pumpjack
Dozer spent the beginning of the match dodging Pumpjack's weapon, getting in some lifts and flipping him over several times, but getting hit by pumpjack's hammer a few times. Things got worse for pumpjack once his hammer broke. Seconds later, Dozer's rear end broke off. The fight continues, Dozer flipping over Pumpjack and Pumpjack self-righting. At one point Cassius Chrome and Matilda each got visited. At one point Pumjack got pinned to the wall. At the last second, he escaped. Things took a turn when Dozer got high-centered on the face of his plow. He was then counted out and attacked by the house robots. Further analysis revealed Dozer COULD'VE self-righted, but I forgot that he could escape from the position he was in.
Triosk VS Debranator
Winner: Debranator
Triosk didn't stand a chance. He was tossed around the arena numerous times, getting stuck on his side a few times. Every time he was stuck, Debranator freed him. She was intent on flipping him Oota. At one point, she flipped him so hard that one of his support legs broke off upon landing. Eventually, in the final minute, Debranator flipped Triosk Oota.
9-12, Rhino VS Circuit Chipper
Winner: Circuit Chipper
It was a good fight. Rhino was on the aggressive, box-rushing Circuit Chipper and attemtping to slow him down. This worked several times, Circuit Chipper being slammed against the walls about 3 times. Each time, Rhino scored numerous hits with his axe. However, he was also at certain points taking damage from Circuit Chipper's weapon. Soon, the damage added up, and finally in one hit the entire right side of Rhino was torn off, wedge, wheel, and motor. A second hit tor off the other side and ripped out the batteries. The fight was then over.
Vice Grip VS Blue Moose
Winner: Vice Grip
Amazingly enough, not only did Blue Moose lose, he lost HARD. Vice Grip was able to out maneuver Blue Moose at every opportunity, and the small surface area of Blue Moose's flipper made things even easier for Vice Grip. Blue Moose did get a couple of flips though, at one point damaging one of Vice Grip's pincers, causing that and a piece of his chassis to break off. Still, the fight mostly consisted of Vice Grip grappling or getting underneath Blue Moose, dodging the flipper most of the time, and shoving him around. Vice Grip lost a little leverage upon losing one of his claws, but he managed to pull through to a judges decision.
Prowler VS Nonja
Winner: Nonja
Once again, Prowler fought hard, using the same strategy as with Circuit Chipper, moving in saw first. The blade was hit a few times before breaking off. Prowler's maneuverability was enough to keep his front end up against Nonja, where he kept handling hits. At one point, Prowler exposed his rear end, and Nonja obliged by damaging his back left wheel motor mount. After a few more clashes, it was torn off. Prowler continued getting got rams at Nonja, sending him popping up into the air several times, and even flipping him over. At one point Nonja was caught by the claw of Sergeant Bash, but he escaped. Eventually, Prowler's arm was completely torn off. His front set of wheels took some structural damage, slowly being pulled apart. Eventually, Nonja tore off Prowler's chassis armor, before finally flipping him over. Without his arm, Prowler couldn't self right. Nonja then tore off Prowler's front left wheel and motor. Then the timer went out, Nonja winning on a close decision.
Ramminator VS Zershlagen
Winner: Ramminator
Ramminator went with his anti-spinner device again. He had a difficult time doing anything to Zerschlagen, and vice-versa. At one point Zerschlagen flipped Ramminator over in one major hit, inverting Ramminator for the rest of the round. Ramminator relentlessly barraged Zerschlagen with attack, backing up only so he could ram into him again. At one point Zerschlagen damaged one of the bendable tubes on Ramminator's anti-spinner device. Another time Ramminator tried bringing Zerschlagen over to Mr.Psycho, only to get hit himself by PSycho's hammer, damaging his chassis. The second try was more successful, as Ramminator avoided damage. However, when Psycho used his hammer on Zerschlagen, it simply bounced off the angled directional pole sticking out of the german machine. Finally, at the lower arena wall, Ramminator bounced Zerschlagen off a hit and Zerschlagen's weapon got stuck on the lower arena wall. As he was then counted out and attacked by the house robots, Ramminator picked a fight with Growler. At the last second, as Psycho was attacking Zerschlagen, Ramminator and Growler, the two fasted bots I've ever made, ran into each other head-on. Growler wasn't phased, due to being heavier, whilst the shock from the impact nearly broke off Ramminator's rear right wheel. (The axle was barely connected to the socket.)
Yin Yang VS Silver Knight
Winner: Yin-Yang
This fight was hilarious. It started off with Silver Knight being pushed around by Yin-Yang, his sword and shield unable to do anything due to how low to the ground Yin-Yang is. Yin Yang tried sending Silver Knight to Shunt, but shunt was unable to do anything: His plow couldn't get under Silver Knight, and Silver Knight's sword and shield kept blocking Shunt's axe. (This is the second fight in which Shunt can't have his way with Silver Knight) Realizing Shunt can't do anything, Yin-Yang tried shoving Silver Knight towards Sir Killalot, only to get high-centered on one of his wedges. Silver Knight then proceeded to SLOWLY push Yin-Yang towards the king of the house robots. Killalot didn't seem too happy with Silver Knight's medieval theme though, as he took Yin-Yang into his claws and proceeded to slap Silver Knight WITH HIS OWN OPPONENT. He then threw Yin-Yang into Silver Knight's face. Yin-Yang escaped, and Silver Knight then got into a fight with Killalot, sword and shield VS lance and claw. Sir Killalot tried to lift Silver Knight by stabbing his left arm (the one with the sheild) with his lance and drilling into it, then lifting it, but almost toppled himself over. Sir Killalot then got his lance caught in Silver Knight's left shoulder. Refbot tried to seperate them, but couldn't. Killalot later broke free, nearly tearing off Silver Knight's arm in the process. He then stabbed his lance into Silver Knight's shield, which finally broke off the left arm. Killalot then tried once again to lift the walkerbot Silver Knight, this time with both arms. He succeeded, and as that happened, the timer went off, leading to a judges decision.
La Machine Reborn VS Big Bad Biter
Winner: Big Bad Biter
Big Bad Biter immediately got partially underneath La Machine, but not FULLY underneath. He could still push La Machine around the arena, and into Dead MEtal's corner. Dead Metal pinched and sawed down on La Machine's rear, before letting go. La MAchine retaliated by getting underneath Big Bad Biter and launching him across the arena. The bots then took turns using their weapons on each other, La Machine flipping and Big Bad Biter biting, with Big Bad Biter doing more to score points. They came across Cassius Chrome a few times, both bots getting upper-cutted. The fight ended with Cassius Chrome doing a surprise posterior assault on Big Bad Biter.

So, who's gonna win? Find out hopefully soon, since from now on I'm not doing fight summaries. The more work I have to do for this series, the less motivated I am to do it, and considering that I'm moving soon, I've gotta get this done ASAP.
...yeah, ASAP my ass. I'm still not able to do this thing regularly. I'm fighting with the same robots over and over again. It's not as interesting as it was before. But at the same time, I also want to know the results of this tournament, and I'm not letting it pass. That and I keep getting these crazy surprises. Unfortunately, I didn't write down what happened, I got tired of having to type millions of paragraphs that only interest me.
I regret that decision. That round had some crazy fights, and I didn't type anything about them.
I'm gonna try recording them this time, and then use a different format that makes editing easier.
With that said, here's the results of last round, with vague descriptions of what I could remember of the fights.
Ramminator VS Debranator
Winner: Ramminator
Ramminator used his superior speed and agility to show more aggression against Debranator, who struggled to get him oota, let alone underneath him. Ramminator lasted the full 4 minutes and won by a judges decision.
Dozer VS Circuit Chipper
Winner: Dozer
Dozer's durable front end came in handy this fight. He plowed at Circuit Chipper, and flipped him over, winning by KO.
Triosk VS Blue Moose
Winner: Blue Moose
Triosk didn't stand a chance, he got flipped so many times that his chassis straight up fell apart.
Rhino VS Nonja
Winner: Rhino
Rhino got roughed up a quite a bit this fight, but caught a lucky break when one of his hits collapsed Nonja's chassis, knocking him out.
Vice Grip VS La Machine Reborn
Winner: La Machine Reborn
The whole fight was mostly a pushing match, La Machine Reborn winning on Judges decision.
Prowler VS Silver Knight
Winner: Silver Knight
Silver Knight used it's upper half to toss and turn Prowler around the arena, controlling the fight.
Pumpjack VS Zerschlagen
Winner: Zerschlagen
Zerschlagen had a difficult time this round, but after some swatting away at Pumpjack and destroying his opponent's rear end, the German machine won.
Yin Yang VS Big Bad Biter
Winner: Big Bad Biter
Big Bad Biter used it's crushing beak to dominate the fight, piercing in between Yin-Yang's wheels and lifting him into the air 3 TIMES! He even almost took him out the arena, by the bottom lower wall.

Again, not much motivation to type these paragraphs. But I'd feel bad for not writing them. Makes me wish I could just record them with a camera. But until then, here's some fight reviews:
Pumpjack VS Circuit Chipper
Winner: Circuit Chipper
Circuit Chipper had a hard time with this one. He basically just had to keep hitting Pumpjack without letting himself get attacked by his opponent's hammer. This didn't work out a few times, but mostly went in Circuit Chipper's favor. Circuit Chipper eventually took out the hammer and back end of Pumpjack. At the final minute, the entire right side of Pumpjack was torn off, partially immobilizing him. Pumpjack kept his front and left side pointed at Circuit Chipper until the end of the match.
Ramminator VS Blue Moose
Winner:Ramminator
It was a close match. Blue Moose had to basically time his flips with every ram from Ramminator, since he wasn't fast enough to chase him. At one point Ramminator's back right wheel came loose, first near the beginning of the match, after his first major hit on Blue Moose, before it popped back into place, and then the second time was near the end of the bout, where once again the wheel popped back into place. The two bots encountered Sir Killalot, and both were attacked, Blue Moose being hurled across the arena and into his back end, stuck on the arena wall. He kept trying to flip his way out, but it wasn't until he was nearly counted out that he managed to escape. Ramminator won on weapon usage and aggression.
Dozer VS Nonja
Winner: Nonja
Dozer gave it his all. His plow/forks managed to deflect several of Nonja's hits in spectacular fashion. However, due to his poor turning ability, Dozer had his blind spots exploited, and it resulted in the loss of his back left wheel. Over time, his plow became more and more deformed, to the point that it couldn't even touch the ground anymore. It could still lift though, as seen when it exploited Nonja's rear end's high ground clearance and lifted him, causing his weapon to hit the floor and the force flipping the robot over. At one point, Nonja was able to just barely dodge a hammer blow from Mr.Psycho. Inevitably, the rear end of Dozer came off, which reduced him to a 2 wheel drive. He was more agile, but harder to control. This cost him the fight, as he got steered into the lower arena wall and got his entire weapon system torn off in one hit from Nonja. The next hit blew pieces of Dozer's insides, chassis, and remaining drive towards my face, with Nonja winning by KO.
Triosk VS La Machine Reborn
Winner: La Machine Reborn
These two bots missed their initial first charge at each other, the second charge sent Triosk Flying. The two bots bumped and ran into each other, Triosk scoring at least one good hit. He eventually was toppled sideways and got shoved into the upper right arena corner, and couldn't self-right. Triosk was counted out and picked on by Shunt, who broke off one of Triosk's upper "legs" with multiple axe blows. Triosk was later knocked back onto his wheels, and he escaped from the corner, only to be confronted by Dead Metal. They went head on, saw-blade to spinner, and Triosk delivered an uppercut that flipped Dead Metal over. He then got attacked by Shunt, who tried to flip him with his plow, only to make himself more vulnerable. Triosk then attacked underneath Shunt's plow, barraging him with multiple hits and knocking off his right horn. Shunt had to run away before attacking again, knocking Triosk on his back, on the side with one of the legs broken, and attacked with his axe. He then shoved Triosk into the lower arena wall and beat on him until I ended the match.
Rhino VS Silver Knight
Winner: Silver Knight
Rhino seemed like the better bot, but Silver Knight was able to deflect many of Rhino's axe blows with both his sword and shield. In fact, it was Silver Knight's arms that proved crucial here, as they kept Rhino away from mounting any major attack. At the same time, the axe also got tangled up with Silver Knight's arms, which Silver Knight took advantage of by moving him around. Near the end of the fight, Rhino finally got underneath Silver Knight, and seized the opportunity to do as much as possible, but there was only 30 seconds left. Rhino slammed Silver Knight into the lower arena wall, where the knight's shield got caught by the beams that made up said wall. Silver Knight was able to escape, even with Growler attacking him since he was too close to his corner.
Vice Grip VS Yin-Yang
Winner: Vice Grip
This boring fight was a tough one to decide. Vice Grip would charge at Yin-Yang, who'd be spinning, and either get his claws deflected or underneath Yin-Yang. If underneath, Vice Grip would try driving Yin-Yang around. There was also the possibility of the claws actually succeeding in grabbing a hold of Yin-Yang. This was what decided the match, as this led to Vice Grip leading Yin-Yang into Sergeant Bash's corner, where Bash tried using his crushing claw on one of Yin-Yang's wheels. This happened twice, and ended up being the deciding factor of the match.
Prowler VS Big Bad Biter
Winner: Big Bad Biter
Prowler didn't stand a chance in this bout. He first charged his "head" into Big Bad Biter several times, at one point getting caught up in one of the poles sticking out of the sides of Big Bad Biter's crushing mechanism. Another time, Big Bad Biter grabbed a hold of Prowler's saw arm, and didn't let go. He tried moving Prowler to the house robots, but failed. Refbot later forcefully separated them, only for Big Bad Biter to grab it again, but then let go. Eventually, the saw arm on Prowler was torn off. Shortly after that, Big Bad Biter broke Prowler's back left wheel and motor, hampering Prowler's mobility. Later, he was dragged into Mr.Psycho's hammer by Big Bad Biter, getting an armor panel broken off in the process before escaping. Big Bad Biter later grabbed a hold of Prowler again, and broke off more of Prowler's armor with his beak. Finally, Prowler was sent to Mr.Psycho's hammer again, and this time Psycho inflicted a fatal blow, destroying the frame of Prowler's chassis and knocking his internals loose, knocking him out.
Debranator VS Zerschlagen
Winner: Debranator
Zerschlagen put up such a good fight, he actually seemed like the victor. Debranator kept getting swatted away by Zerschlagen's weapon, and even took some damage. First her decorative spoiler, then one of her back panels, and soon there was damage to the back of her chassis. There were a couple times in this fight where Debranator got a flip on Zerschlagen, but was unable to capitalize on it. Finally, Zerschlagen was pushed into the left wall, and Debranator got under him and flipped him twice, the first time nearly taking him oota, the second time succeeding. Debranator won by knockout.

Round 7:
Debranator VS Blue Moose
Pumpjack VS Nonja
Ramminator VS La Machine Reborn
Dozer VS Silver Knight
Triosk VS Yin-Yang
Rhino VS Big Bad Biter
Vice Grip VS Prowler
Circuit Chipper VS Zerschlagen
WHEW! This format is WAY easier to work with. Who's gonna win? Find out next time I eventually post something! Comments would always be appreciated!
Alright, I'm back, I had to stop the tournament because I moved to a new house, and the carpeting there I initially thought wouldn't work as an arena floor. However, I was wrong. Turns out, it CAN work, which means I don't need to build a wooden arena. All I have to do now is just rebuild the arena I had before and start this thing back up again.
With that said, here's the long over-due results for Round 7 of the War of The Weapons final tournament:
Debranator VS Blue Moose
Winner: Blue Moose
Blue Moose didn't even give Debranator a chance. He got under her first, and that was the end of it. He flipped her several times, at one point sticking her on the low arena wall, and then Blue Moose flipped Debranator Oota.
Pumpjack VS Nonja
Winner: Nonja
This was a tight fight. Near the beginning of the fight, Pumpjack attacked Nonja with his hammer, only for it to break off, as per usual. The rest of the fight was Nonja and Pumpjack charging at each other, Nonja getting flipped most of the time, and having to self-right. At one point, Pumpjack got high-centered on the arena wall. Nonja made the risky decision of freeing him so he could attack him more with his weapon . This didn't work so well at first, as Pumpjack rammed him into Mr.Psycho twice, and spent the rest of the match chasing Nonja. Nonja strategically avoided letting his weapon hit Pumpjack until it was at full speed, and he also had to maneuver away from Mr.Psycho. Eventually, the hits took their toll, and Pumpjack's right side was torn off. Later some of his back armor was destroyed. In the closing seconds, Nonja ripped off Pumpjack's top left armor panel. The fight then ended. This damage along with strategic driving won the fight for Nonja in a judges decision.
Ramminator VS La Machine Reborn
Winner: Ramminator
The opening seconds of this fight could've been the end. Ramminator charged at La Machine, getting on his wedge, before being flipped around, ending up high-centered on the arena wall. La Machine could've just left him there, but La Machine wanted more, so he freed him. He may as well have opened up Pandora's Box, because Ramminator responded with a flurry of hits and rams that lasted throughout the rest of the match. Occasionally, Ramminator would be flipped by La Machine, but it mostly consisted of Ramminator either hitting or driving over La Machine's wedge at high speed. The tide of the battle soon shifted once it became apparent that La Machine was suffering damage to his front. Eventually, his flipping mechanism came loose. Ramminator then finally administered damage and broke off some of La MAchine's armor whilst driving his spike through La Machine's arm. Ramminator then backed up and hit again, eventually getting high-centered on La Machine's wedge. La MAchine fired his flipper, only for it to nearly fall out, due to damage. The fight ended with Ramminator delivering the final blow, tearing off his opponent's flipping arm, and winning on a judges decision.
Dozer VS Silver Knight
Winner: Dozer
Dozer had a rough start this fight, Silver Knight continuously swatting him away and Dozer's lifting forks being nearly incapable of getting underneath him. It was basically just Dozer trying and failing to get any purchase for the first half of the match. However, eventually Dozer got his forks into Silver KNight's waist swivel, lifting up, and bisecting the knight, tearing him in half. Now just a slow, cumbersome, walkerbot base with no ground clearance, Dozer spent the other half of the match trying and mostly failing at getting underneath Silver Knight, only succeeding twice. The first time he did it he drove Silver Knight into the wall. The second time he lifted him Dozer actually succeeding in flipping him over. Dozer managed to just barely win the match by KO.
Triosk VS Yin-Yang
Winner: Yin-Yang
Triosk, as usual, didn't stand a chance. Yin-Yang's sit-n-spin attack tossed Triosk around, damaging his chassis and flipping him over. At one point he was nearly pinned to the wall, but managed to escape, only for one of his weapon support legs to be broken off. He took a few more hits until eventually catastrophically falling apart from chassis damage, everything falling apart.
Rhino VS Big Bad Biter
Winner: Big Bad Biter
The fight started off with Rhino knocking Big Bad Biter on his back, only for him to self-right using his srimech. Rhino's weaponry was useless against Big Bad Biter, who jammed his beak into a weak-point at the center of Rhino's weapon system, biting down and causing structural damage to Rhino's chassis. Rhino was let go, but got grabbed once again, and this time Big Bad Biter took him to Mr.Psycho, who caused severe critical damage to Rhino's chassis, dislodging his baseplate from his wedge and drive setup, collapsing internally. Big Bad Biter backed away as Rhino beat at Mr.Psycho's face with his axe, only to be lifted up, and have his control board fall out of his broken chassis. He was then tossed onto his back. Cease was called, but Mr.Psycho delivered a massive blow from his hammer onto Rhino's vulnerable under belly, smashing him to pieces.
Vice Grip VS Prowler
Winner: Vice Grip
Oh my god. This fight was SOOOO BOOORING. The whole fight consisted of Prowler climbing on top of Vice Gip and using his saw blade arm. Vice grip at one point nearly pulled off Prowler's front left tire. Vice Grip tried driving Prowler around, but Prowler escaped every time. The deciding factor of this match was when Prowler was tugging on Vice Grip's rear with his saw arm, until it eventually broke off, literally at the last second. This bit of damage sealed the deal.
Circuit Chipper VS Zerschlagen
Winner: Circuit Chipper
The fight was rather comical. Every time the spinners collided, Zerschlagen's weapon was stopped dead in it's tracks. Then it always spun right back up. Well, almost. While Zerschlagen's hammers were getting worn down, the real damage ensued when one hit knocked the weapon system and left side drive loose. Zerschlagen then just edged around helplessly, as Circuit Chipper tore off half his baseplate, before finally delivering the fatal hit that blew Zerschlagen to pieces, ending the match.
I won't be putting up the fight brackets for next round JUST yet, I've gotta rebuild my arena first.
I'll also be posting the mid-tournament battle-stats, listing how many wins and losses each bot has had so far.
Please leave a comment below so that I know you, the audience, are still there. It's been a while.
I'll see you all then!
I know I said I wouldn't built competitors until my Legos are organized. Regardless, I got bored and took a small pile of legos and created some robot prototypes (a regular competitor ended up in here somehow).
Due to the limited range of parts used, most of these bots look like crap compared to the regular ones I make. Regardless, here you go:
Here's bot #1:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
A drum/eggbeater robot with a good 4 wheel drive and a scrimech. I don't have a name for him yet.
Pretty Pink Princess Pansy/P4:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Basically my version of Nuts 2.
Here's bot #3:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
An Icewave-style blade spinner. I have high hopes for this one. Very colorful when he spins up to speed.
Bot #4:

I found a rusty piece of metal on the street with a hole in it. I took it and stuck it on this cute little bot. Didn't even bother cleaning it.
(Don't worry, I got my tetanus shot years ago)

Again, found him in he spare parts bin, so I rebuilt him as best as I could.
Lastly, Bot #6:

[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
The moment I saw HUGE in Battlebots Season 8, I knew I HAD to make something like this. Ended up looking like a mix between HUGE and Axe Backwards.
Oh look, it just so happens that there's 6 bots here. Gee, I wonder what would happen if I had a mini-tourney with these guys.
Which one do you think would win? Also, got any name ideas? Leave a comment below!
I just realized it's kinda hard to make predictions when you don't know the abilities of the robots, so I'll list them here.
Snappin' Dragon VS Blue Moose 2.0
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Snappin' Dragon:Hailing from China, this bot is known for it’s resilience and relentless hammer system. Surprisingly balanced for a robot with this type of weapon system, this guy can hit from the front or the back.
Stength: Rapid-fire weapon, low ground clearance, resilient, can self-right
Weakness: Low destructive capabilities, breakable rear plow
Blue Moose 2.0:Blue Moose was the breakout star of last tournament and rookie of the year. This time around he features a compact design whilst still retaining its signature durability and flipping power!
Strength: Powerful weapon, durable, low ground clearance, can self-right
Weakness: Struggles to get under opponents, no destructive abilities
White Privilege VS Debra
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
White Privilege:Despite his name, this bot is quite a serious contender. With a very durable design, White Privilege now features a set of srimech arms that enable him to not only self-right, but also double as secondary grappling arms, making it harder for opponents to escape his crushing jaw. His drive system has also been fixed, with the wheels initially coming loose during his debut. There’s only 2 things that scare this bot: hammers that can break his wedge, and flippers that can toss him oota.
Strengths: Fast, can self-right, scrimechs double as grappling arms, weapon can potentially do damage
Weaknesses: Wedge is vulnerable to hammers, high ground clearance at the rear, top-heavy, exposed wheels
Debra:The 4-bar launching beast is a symbol of strength amongst female robots. She’s fast, but also durable. So durable in fact that she’s been able to take on the NASTIEST spinners out there. She’s also got enough power in the launcher to 1-hit KO opponents oota. She’s a true contender for the championship.
Strengths: Durable, fast, powerful weapon, low ground clearance, maneuverable
Weakness: No destructive capabilities, sometimes struggles to self-right
Circuit Chipper VS Snappin' Dragon VS Junko
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Circuit Chipper:Circuit Chipper is back again, this time with a design reminiscent of retired competitor Gouge. Can this old-timer reclaim his glory days?
Strengths: Very destructive, can self-right, fast
Weaknesses: Heavy recoil from weapon, high ground clearance, needs space to spin up to full speed.
Junko:This Swedish machine is a Tombstone-style horizontal spinner now equipped with a deadlier, heavier weapon for this tourney: a spinning flywheel. However, he’ not called “Junko” for no reason. Despite his improvements, this bot still has room to grow.
Strengths: Invertable, potentially damaging weapon
Weaknesses: Exposed wheels, difficult to control, prone to weapon failure/breakage
MAIN EVENT
Zerschlagen VS Nonja
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Zerschlagen:Hailing from Germany, this bot was a surprising newcomer with a penchant for flinging bots away like ragdolls. Now featuring heavier hammers, Zerschlagen is ready to ramp up the destruction in his fights.
Strengths: Fast, potentially destructive weapon, can self-right
Weaknesses: Needs room to spin up, big target, fragile chassis, prone to destabilizing
Nonja:Initially a joke of a competitor, Nonja showed an incredible amount of improvement last tournament with it’s giant spinning bar of death. He comes back now with a more compact design that puts a better emphasis on drive power. However, his stability has been slightly compromised.
Strengths: Destructive weapon, can self-right, fast
Weaknesses: fragile drive system, slightly unstable
Alright, time to take a look at episode 2's fight card:

The next fight is an interesting rematch from last tourney. La Machine was so brutally and utterly destroyed by Nonja that I actually STRUGGLED putting him back together. Can he get his revenge here against Nonja, who's currently 0-1 in the competition? (Forgot to mention the outcome of his fight with Zerschlagen. Oops)
Nonja VS La Machine
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]

Stats:
Weapon: Front wedge and rear battering ram with sloped sides.
Strengths: Resilient, 2nd fastest competitor, strongest pushing ability, invertible
Weaknesses: No destructive weaponry, vulnerable to hammers and crushers, exposed wheels, weapons are useless when inverted
And last but not least, we see if this adorable former-walker can be a SERIOUS competitor, as he takes on the seriously devastating veteran Circuit Chipper, who's only 0-1 because of a scuffle with Sir Killalot himself!
MAIN EVENT:

Bot Wars Test Tourney,Episode 3 Results:
Death Jester VS Prowler V2:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Fight Summary:
Due to a design flaw in Death Jester’s new design (which featured a bigger, heavier hammer) every time she spun up, she would spiral into a random direction and have no control of it, inevitably crashing into something that may not be an opponent. Regardless, even without this issue, Death Jester still probably would’ve struggled, as Prowler easily took every hit from that giant hammer and kept on the aggressive, pinning Death Jester numerous times and using his saw on her, his rubber-treaded wheels provide enough grip and traction to ensure that his opponent (who has plastic wheels) couldn’t push back and be freed despite a more powerful drive system. Despite it’s sluggish nature, and tedious steering system, Prowler was able to stay on top of the fight, all throughout. At one point, he even got Death Jester into Cassius Chrome’s corner, who punted Jester away. Near the end of the fight, Prowler, who had taken no damage whatsoever, was hit by Jester so hard that he flipped over onto his back. However, he was able to self-right.

Gaspy Vs Silver Knight II
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Overall Fight Summary:
Gaspy was immediately able to get underneath Silver Knight and flip him into the path of Mr.Psycho. However, once Silver Knight recovered, he baited Gaspy into charging at him, only to crash into the wall and be pinned by Silver Knight. Gaspy fired his flipper as a means of escape, and tried flipping Silver Knight again. However, Silver Knight used it’s sword and shield to block Gaspy and ward off his flipper for at least a solid 30 seconds. Eventually however, Gaspy found an opening, and flipped both Silver Knight and himself. As they both self righted, Gaspy got under Silver Knight again, and succeeded in flipping him OOTA, winning by KO.
Winner: Gaspy, KO
White Privilege VS Onyx Vs Big Bad Biter:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Fight Summary:
The 3 robots struggled to get under each other due to their wedges having the same ground clearance. Early on, Onyx was able to topple over BBB with his crusher (which can double as a lifter). As BBB self righted, Onyx and White Privilege grappled with each other, nearly resulting in White Privilege taking off one of Onyx’s wheels, only to be pushed away by one of Onyx’s srimech “ears”. All 3 bots grappled again, all trying and failing to damage each other for about a minute. Eventually, White Privilege succeeded in tearing off Onyx’s left wheel, leaving him running in circles. He then tussles with BBB, and eventually takes off his left wheel too. However, BBB got a grip of White Privilige and turned him towards Sir Killalot. Killalot Bullied White Privilege a little before he escaped. Soon, Onyx reinterred the fray, resulting in another awkward 3-way grappling session/orgy, which soon resulted in Onyx getting his right srimech “ear” torn off by White Privilege. The fight ended with both Onyx and BBB ganging up on White Privilege and pushing him into the screws.

Who will win? Feel free to leave a guess down below. I'll give ya'll more time to answer by working on future episodes ahead of time, starting now. See ya next week!
*Cricket Noises*
...OKAY, time for this week's episode! (Expect me to post new episodes once a week. I've already gotten a few done on my computer ahead of time.
Ramminator VS Beatle:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Fight Summary:
This fight involved much ramming. Ramminator kept hitting it’s spike on the upper bracket on Beatle’s lifting forks. At one point their tussling got into the corner occupied by Cassius Chrome, who attacked both robots a little bit each. Beatle got in 2 lifts over the course of their continued ramming and tussling, the second one perfectly balancing Ramminator onto it’s backside. Just as he was about to topple down, Beatle charged him, forks up, slamming him to Growler, who took off Ramminator’s front right wheel. Undeterred, Ramminator continued living up to it’s namesake and slammed into Beatle repeatedly, one of the collisions causing Ramminator to do a fancy spiraling roll-over. He was soon put into Cassius Chrome’s corner, and got stuck on the arena wall beached on his spike. Beatle almost freed him, but decided not to, standing back as Ramminator was counted out.
Results:
Winner: Beatle, KO
Prowler VS Nonja:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Fight Summary:
The fight consisted entirely of Nonja running from Prowler until his weapon got up to speed, hitting him with it, then going back to running. Prowler got his saw arm on Nonja a few times in the fight, but over time, he began to get destroyed, starting with the loosening of his rear left wheel. Then, his front bumper plate fell off. Throughout the next few minutes, Prowler was flipped twice by the impacts with Nonja’s weapon, but subsequently self-righted each time. Soon, his rear left wheel and motor fell off, along with his front bumper frame. In the final seconds of the match, Prowler was flipped against the wall, and was attacked until his chassis under-armor broke off and eventually his top plate came loose, dislodging his internal components and killing him. However, before he could be counted out, the timer went off, saving him for a judges decision:
Judging Criteria:
• Strategy: Out of 10 points
• Control: Out of 10 points
• Weapons/Damage: Out of 15 points
• Aggression: Out of 10 points
Score, in order of Nonja VS Prowler:
• Strategy: 8-2
• Control: 0-10
• Weapons/Damage: 12-3
• Aggression: 3-7
Winner: Nonja, 23-22
King Killshot VS Deku:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Fight Summary:
The whole fight consisted of Deku chasing after King Killshot and trying to stop it from getting to full speed, occasionally succeeding and ramming him into the walls, and other times failing and getting hit with the full force of Killshot’s spinner. Over time, Deku slowly got more and more destroyed. The first hit between these two alone was able to chip off a piece of Deku’s wedge. Later, he tried stopping Killshot with a rear wedge attack, but somehow ended up losing his right rear wheel. Many hits later, and the entire front right half of Deku’s wedge gets torn off. At some unknown point, Deku lost a panel underneath one of his rear bumper wedges. Finally, on the edge of total structural collapse and complete destruction, Deku hit King Killshot and caused him to ricochet into the south-western arena wall, where Killshot literally got STUCK inside the arena wall, breaking though part of it. Deku tried to fee him (cuz he’s a gud boi) but it was too late. King Killshot was counted out.
Results:
Winner: Deku, TKO.
MAIN EVENT: Circuit Chipper VS Zerschlagen
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Fight Summary:
The bots hit each other a few times, with Circuit Chipper getting dangerously close to Mr.Psycho early on and almost getting beached on the arena wall. However, he escaped. At one point, Zerschalagen was flipped over by one of the weapon-to-weapon impacts, but was able to quickly self-right. After a few more collisions (some of which involved Circuit Chipper breaking the arena barriers), one of them sends Circuit Chipper flying into the south arena wall and he got beached inside one of the barriers, immobilized. Zerschlagen left him there and took the win by KO.
Winner: Zerschlagen, KO

Oops, late episode. Sorry.
Here's the results of the episode:
Big Foot VS Death Jester!

Results:
Fight Summary:
From for this match, Death Jester used it’s old hammer setup, which meant the big red reinforcement brick was removed in order to balance out the robot better. The first half of the fight started out fairly even, with both bots getting good hits off of each other. At one point, Death Jester got fairly close to Dead Metal, but was able to avoid getting attacked by the house robot. Over time however, the wheel guards that held Bigfoot’s wheels in place began to wear out. At the same time, Death Jester’s weapon began sliding across the poll it was on, looking like a weird lego technic cactus. It ended up losing it’s ability to be an effective hammer, but WAS a good device for jabbing into Bigfoot and pushing him around, eventually into the path of Matilda’s vertical spinning bar. The resulting hit tore off one of Bigfoot’s wheel guards and the wheel it held in place, reducing it to a measly feeble 1 wheel drive sit-and-spin robot. It put up a surprisingly good performance regardless, cleverly turning away from Jester’s attacks and attempts to drive him around numerous times. Regardless, he was no longer the aggressor. In the final few seconds however, Jester ended up accidentally driving into Matilda, getting hit by the house robot’s rear spinning bar, nearly throwing the competitor OOTA, landing just on the edge of the arena wall. Immediately after time was up, Jester was hit again and thrown out completely, but by then time was up.
Judging Criteria:
• Strategy: Out of 10 points
• Control: Out of 10 points
• Weapons/Damage: Out of 15 points
• Aggression: Out of 10 points
Score, in order of Bigfoot-Death Jester
• Strategy: 10-5
• Control: 2-13
• Weapons/Damage: 7-8
• Aggression: 6-9
Winner: Death Jester, 10-35
Blue Moose 2.0 VS La Machine:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Results:
Fight Summary:
La Machine didn’t stand a chance this fight. He got tossed around endlessly by Blue Moose, who was easily able to get under La Machine from all angles. At one point, La Machine was nearly thrown OOTA, but rebounded back into the ring. It didn’t matter though, because ultimately he was thrown OOTA in the end anyways, before the fight was even half-way done.
Winner: Blue Moose 2.0, KO
Gaspy VS Ramminator:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Results
Fight Summary:
Ramminator lived up to his namesake in this fight, his first hit destroying the “face” on Gaspy’s flipper. He hit Gaspy numerous times, sent him to Growler twice, flew off his flipping ramp many times, spiked him a whole bunch, and simply dominating the fight, only getting flipped occasionally. Gaspy was too slow to handle Ramminator, but thankfully, after a 3 minute onslaught on his opponent Ramminator carelessly rode up Gaspy’s wedge whilst near the northern arena wall. Gaspy responded by launching Ramminator OOTA, securing a win, albeit barely through sheer dumb luck.
Winner: Gaspy, KO
MAIN EVENT: Silver Knight II VS King Killshot
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
Results:
Fight Summary:
Most of this fight consisted simply of Silver Knight chasing Killshot around and getting hit on his ultra-tanky wedge. He predictably toppled over a few times and self-righted each time. Eventually, in the latter half of the fight, Silver Knight was beginning to fall apart. First one of the bottom plates of his wedge fell off, then, about a minute later, the other one fell off too. Then he lost his left arm, before eventually getting torn in half and flipped over in a massive hit that nearly ended the match. However, as Shunt began picking at the upturned Silver Knight who just so happened to land in his corner, Killshot continued attacking, tossing the upper torso onto the arena wall, then getting to work attaking his helpless, up-ended opponent. This eventually righted him, and Silver Knight was free. In the final 30 seconds of the match, he kept ramming at King Killshot until his chassis began to finally break apart. His two-piece massive front wedge finally came off after a few hits, and was on the verge of being completely obliterated from massive structural failure, but by then, time was up, leaving it to a judges decision.
Judging Criteria:
• Strategy: Out of 10 points
• Control: Out of 10 points
• Weapons/Damage: Out of 15 points
• Aggression: Out of 10 points
Score, in order of Silver Knight II to King Killshot:
• Strategy: 4-6
• Control: 10-0
• Weapons/Damage: 2-13
• Aggression: 9-1
Winner: Silver Knight II, 25-20
Now then, onto the next episode!
Here's some post fight pics.(I can't include them with the previous posts because GTM will sh** itself if I were to post 8 pics in a single post, and using Imgur is too clunky.)

Stats:
Weapon: Horizontal spinning flywheel
Strengths: Invertable, potentially damaging weapon
Weaknesses: Exposed wheels, difficult to control, prone to weapon failure/breakage

Weapon: 4-bar flipper/launcher
Strengths: Durable, fast, powerful weapon, low ground clearance, maneuverable
Weakness: No destructive capabilities, sometimes struggles to self-right
