Quote from: Plerco on March 04, 2018, 07:48:56 PMProwler is beautiful and I'm rooting for itSadly...he was either the first or second robot to get eliminated. (I forgot which, I think I need to actually keep record of these damn fights.)And the winner was...MANSLAUGHTER. He took on the swede machine Junko whom he tossed around relentlessly, but not as relentlessly as he did to Maximus, in an earlier bout, where he threw him into the arena back wall 4 times in a row.Anyway, on to the next heat: First up, OnyxThis mediocre crusher bot doesn't do much damage, but it's great at grappling with opponents. It's also got sri-mech arms. Not too sure about this robot's chances...https://i.imgur.com/0y4KLsv.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/EXKU1Ix.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/wCE9o6U.jpgUp next, from somewhere in Europe, Jester:A newcomer to the series, Jester aspires to be the deadliest sit-n-spin robot in Bot Wars history. Really? With that skinny little hammer? Pfft, whatever you say. To be fair though, this robot looks pretty well built, probably can endure a lot of abuse at the hands of competitors, maybe even dish a few decent blows of his own. He's also got an anti-spinner bar at the back which doubles as a counter-weight to the hammer.https://i.imgur.com/YqUF6bM.jpgNext up, Beatle:An entry from my cousin! I of course had to rebuild it in order to be more competitive. It's now a 2-wheel drive lifter-bot, with some fancy horns. But can it lift it's chances of success?https://i.imgur.com/tKcBoMI.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/jIqUYqC.jpgSilver Knight:This humanoid "walkerbot" is slow, heavy, but has immense swagger. It's a very articulate bot with a moving sword and shield, and a waist-swivel that would make JobbyTheHong proud. However, this robot has never won a fight in any of the 3 previous tournaments it competed in.https://i.imgur.com/iDoMsoF.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/GIu7LC7.jpgRamminator:Would you believe me if I told you this bot was once a finalist? This 4-wheel-driven box of pure aggression is the reason why "weaponless" robots are permitted in Bot Wars: Not only can they be fodder for more destructive robots, they also can put up an aggressive show. The chassis is strong, and so is the spike, but the wheels are exposed.https://i.imgur.com/HOGTLQY.jpgAnd finally, Big Bad Biter:The one of the pioneers of the crushing claw in Bot Wars, this bot hasn't aged well. It's an ugly design but could show promise, it's got a sri-mech but it's wheels are vulnerable.https://i.imgur.com/yyw1yYa.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/pKwDM0R.jpgWho won? Leave a guess down below, and I'll tell you tomorrow whilst introducing our last set of competitors! See ya then!
Prowler is beautiful and I'm rooting for it
Maybe Ramminator but this is a tough one to call as they all seems a pretty similar standards, no bot really stand out
Circuit Chipper is pretty cool, rooting for it
If not enough people show this love then I guess just pick your favourite, I wanna see how this ends either way
Man, Vice Grip deserves a wild card for looking awesome even though it probably wont get far
#Gaspy4Wildcard
you're gonna make me wanna do an actual comp with all my lego bots, all i need is an arena
Rhino looks cool so i'll pick this oneand i have enough bots for a small comp pretty sure, not sure what to do for an arena tho
Going out on limb with Blue Moose
