Okay, let's take an example.

My school all have a netbook each for school-work.

The year sevens (age 11-ish for you murricans) all have Halo 1 on their netbooks and play LAN parties.

Under law the school are not allowed to condone this and our ICT department will confiscate anyone who plays Halo, as it is a 16+.

Most schools in "Murrica" Don't provide a computer for the students to keep for school use. At my high school, we just had computer labs with desktop PCs that we were able to use when necessary.

But their the schools, and so they only take them out on very rare occasions. And we can't put any programs on them. My friend got banned for putting Chrome in his network drive.
