This is a general chatter thread Naryar, thus has no topic. So, is it really spamming? :)

http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/autistic-embryos.html

Apparently, some scientists think that autism is something to remove. Talk about sons of the devil!

Sign the petition please, Quite a lot of autistics are intelligent.

I'm sorry, but if it is possible to cure autism, I think it is worth it. You guys are all naming the "idiot savants", but there are people with autism that don't have those, that are not spectacular, that may benefit from a normal life.

Now, aborting healthy autistic embryos is the choice of the parent. I do not support a petition out-right banning the allowance of autism screening and autism-based abortion. As I said before, that is the parents choice. There do not seem to be benefits of aborting autistic embryos, but screening for autism is a good thing as it can help parrents begin to "treat" or help autistic children.

Well, I hope I have not offended anyone.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Urjak, Autism speaks and Defeat autism now! arn't good places to look for information of autism.

I'd also like to say that daniel may be a savant, bu he was diagnosed before with AS.

http://www.wrongplanet.net/article371.html

And I'd also reccomend this if you are unsure of what autism is now, after you've seen what one of the "autistic charities" really is:

Now i have no grudge against autistic people, but i'd rather not be one...

Autism = innate low social skills, for simplifying.. And i find that quite sad to be born with low social potential...

So i do support that research.
