That you may be right, I have no damn idea .... my oldtimers kicked in about 5-6 years ago i I don't think like I used to, BUT, my young game playing computer guru said that I should spend the extra $50 for the 1060 over the RX480 because it is worth the extra $$$$

You should tell your young game playing guru that he's a mentally deficient fanboy, the 1060 and 480 are very, very similar in speed, with the 480 being faster in newer games.


H170 boards can't overclock, Z170 boards can. The only reason to get a K CPU is because it has an unlocked multiplier for overclocking.

I've owned 2 480s, and I currently own a 1080. Computer hardware is kinda my thing. I know what I'm bullsh**ting about.
