Hey everyone, while I had a couple of mods for RA2 (not to be talked about yet) planned over the course of January/February, an awful disaster struck me. I got hit with a blue screen. I thought,"OK well I don't know what to do?" So I restarted and then I got hit with ANOTHER one and ANOTHER one but they don't come up the first second, it usually waits until my desktop and the taskbar stop responding. I tried Disk Defragmenter and AVG AntiVirus and both say I'm clean, help! I cannot connect to wireless internet on Ubuntu and I can't run my favorite exe files!

Try this:http://www.malwarebytes.org/ (http://www.malwarebytes.org/)
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is win
-
I forgot to mention that I keep getting errors grin wexplorer.exe even in safe mode. Also the malewarebytes service did the exact same thing with avg. Also both programs seemed to slow down when they start to scan the files in Adobe After Effects and then all the programs will just stop and than another blue screen. HELP!
-
I suppose that's a clue on your After Effects installation having faulty files.
explorer.exe is basically your whole Windows interface, except for the cursor and taskmanager. And most other things of course, but they're probably hard to run without explorer open.
I am deleting after effects cause adobe premiere is win, now about that wexplorer.exe file?

1st I reseted my wireless router.
Then I went to download Cube Experimental Mod for Fallout 3,
then blue screen.

So I'm SOL or should I try to download the two files???

Do you have your install disc? If so, repair your Windows using that. If you don't, "obtain" one.
-
How about a recovery disc, if not then I live next to a guy who can "obtain" one.
-
Well windows deleted my restore points, soo now my recovery disk is pretty useless. Unless there is something I'm doing wrong I must "obtain" a Windows 7 installation disk. And my next door neighbor who is a computer guru, is away and nobody knows where the heck where he went. Is there anyway to restore Windows 7?

Did you torrent After Effects?

Linux help:
1) Wireless drivers can still be a pain. What version of Ubuntu are you using? If it's not the most recent one, you're doing it wrong. If it is, what wireless card are you using?
2) Linux won't (in theory) run Windows executables, just as Windows won't run Linux's. Sorry. To install software, don't google for it, use the Software Center in the applications menu. If you feel adventurous, you could try and install something called "wine" from the software center, which lets you run some .exe applications (like games and whatnot, nothing serious) on Linux. To see if your application will run, check out http://appdb.winehq.org/ (http://appdb.winehq.org/) .
Linux is a whole different beast than Windows. You just need to get used to it.
And wexplorer.exe is not a standard Windows process. It's either some sort of program you installed, or malware.
