Or is it about the movies themselves and chucky then this thread is fine, I heard that they will be parodying Child's Play along with Final Destination, Paranormal Activity and Scream 4 in the next Scary Movie installment and they will be remaking the Child's Play Films in the future.

as in adjusting the special effects or a complete re-shoot of the movie?

They are supposed to remake the film, kinda like they did with others like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street etc.
