A computer issue.
« on: September 16, 2014, 08:22:14 PM »
So I turned my computer on a couple of days ago and my taskbar and all my desktop shortcuts are just poof, banished. In fact, the only way I'm actually using this computer to type this is through task manager and the power of my brain's memory, in which I remembered that I can run an executable from it.

This is what my desktop looks like currently.

yes that's google chrome, FFVI and Bjorn, the fell-handed.

anywho, I've run malwarebytes multiple times and it's coming back with nothing, but there's an annoying little extension thing that keeps showing up in my google chrome settings (after I banish it to hell)

Anyone got any ideas?

Here's the simplest solution that Google came up with:
press ctrl+alt+delete-->open the task manager-->click file-->new task-->type explorer.exe-->press enter.

Failing that, this page has a more complex suggestion

I think the first measurement I'll take to preventing this from happening twice is getting windows 7 once and for all and letting xp-chan rest peacefully

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

You're making me want to reinstall XP again so bad right now...
It's so stupid and pointless to personify operating systems but it still made me sad

Yes XP is infinitely better than 7 or 8... mostly due to the latter being full of security obsessed faggotry...

Win8 is fine though, much better than seven.

though all this OS-chan is nonsense.

If security faggotry is the problem, it's easy to disable it in the control panel. I agree that XP is way better (apart from random blue screen crashes). If only it had compatibility to 64bit...

When I was first setting up my new win8 pc, I came up with this idea for "Libertarian Mode," all security features disabled by default
Win8 is fine though, much better than seven.
. Please explain.

I actually don't mind Windows 8 as much as people do. You just need to get used to it.

Who said that was the basis of my dislike of Windows 8? I downloaded a start menu, so that isn't a problem.

Exactly. Not that it's bad, but to say it's better than 7 even though 90% of the established customer base had to download a bunch of extras just to get it working to their standards? Come on.

Download this Kossokei, it fixes all issues: http://hunterspad.co.uk/Domains/bonzibuddy/

So is Naryar not allowed to have an the opinion "That Win 8 is better than Win 7"? I personally like Win 8 more since I find it to run faster on my sh!t-tier laptop. I don't even have 8.1, mainly because I don't feel like wasting time to update for something that doesn't even bother me  (MUH START BUTTON). The only issue I can see people having with Win 8 is that it doesn't have a Start Menu, which doesn't really bother me since I never used it. What are you even referring to when you say "a bunch of extras anyways"

Don't do it, Kossy.
