Personally I'm not interested but I know 90% of the forum will be jumping up and down to enter.
yug1tom is a trooper for offering to AI - really you should do that yourself if it's your tournament.
Also the rules seem slightly contradictory, you say IRL then you say Realistic Rule. Realistic Rule refers to DSL-S. May be worth clearing that one up :)

What is irl?
and
-no multibots   (Q: are multibots clusterbots?)
- Realistic Rule applies (Q: Does this mean they have to look realistic?)
-Jokebots are not allowed (Q: what are Jokebots?)
- No NARmour (Q: what's NARmour?)
- No AAM, NCR glitch, or any other glitch that makes the bot unrealistic (Q: what is AAM, the NCR Glitch?)
- Robots must look as close to IRL designs as possible. (Q: what is an IRL design?)
- Moving weapons may not touch the ground initially. It is OK if a robot is flipped over but not if weapons hit the ground when the match starts. (Q: are you talking about axes? does this rule apply for flippers?)
- No armor attached directly to the chassis of the robot (Q: what does this even mean?)

okay realistic rule has been taken off the list
Yug1tom is AI-ing as i am not yet good enough at it while yug1tom was ai-ing well in the father and son tournament

oh boy
1.yes only one bot
2.no colliding ,stacking, really just general dsl stuff you usually care about
3.when you make a bot to be funny like the conquering clown or granny's revenge while i like them because of the seeding system they would be paired with the best robots taking down their chance to win
4.if you dont know about it you probably wont try to use it
5. same here
6.looks as though it could be built in real life, look at showcases with irl in the title for what designs they may look like, i personally enjoy redace's irl bots
7. no im talking about any weapon attached to a spin motor
-disc
-saw
-chewblade
-dsl bar
and etc.
8. titanium plates can be attached to the chassis giving it far superior armor
hope that clears things up for you

Why don't you guys just tell him? IRL stands for "In Real Life". So it has to be possible to build the bot in real life.

I think it's fine if you want to host a tournament but the only thing setting you back is your AI skills. I don't mind doing it. I have done it in my tournament and dezox's replica cup already so I'm alright doing it here.

You're not the only one, I think the oversaturation will kill it in the end.

I think people reacted like that because IRL is the way you've been building so it seemed odd you didn't know what it was.

yeah maybe
i enjoy watching irl more than dsl-s or stock tournaments though so im not going to host either of those as my first tournament
also from experience dsl-s and stock tournaments take longer to get entries take for example blood brothers
just a personal prefrence is all

I like IRL bots, but it seems like there's been more than enough IRL bot tournaments, which is why RA2 Trials 4 is DSL-S, that and I prefer to build DSL-S. I already entered Blood Brothers seeing as its taking a while for that to get many entries. The trials is taking a while too, but I have a year to finish it, I just want to get it done before the end of summer though.
