I would just make it all standard or all irl, a mix usually just ends in people bickering.
How do you determine which bots get eliminated?
please guys vg showdown 2 will happen i promise(Image removed from quote.)I feel like I need to do this for my own mental stability. HA has probably been my biggest regret on GTM, as it was my first tournament and I had no idea how to format it. I've been thinking for a good couple years and I've finally got it down.Rules: - Ironforge MW- Standard DSL-ish building rules. However, if you want to build IRL, it will be accepted.- 3 minute matches- 1 Havok restart, 2nd time eliminated- BFE, AAM, NCR, Thyrus glitches not allowed- No hax mode- Cannot use DSA- Multibots are not allowed- No armor attached directly to the chassis of the robot- Cheatbot2 components are not allowed- Each bot must have at least 2 wheelsFormat:Bots will be split up into two teams. The first two people to enter will get to pick teams. Each episode (round), one entrant will me eliminated. It is possible that two or even zero robots will be eliminated in an episode, but it is unlikely. If teams are uneven by 2, then they will be evened out. Teams will continue until the final 6, where the competition will turn to individual. The last bot standing wins. The good news about this format is that I can essentially take any amount of robots, as long as it is an even number (so teams will be even). So yeah. Let me know if there's anything I need to add/remove. Feedback is appreciated.
Is this MW as in 200, or MW as in 400?
dead tournament ?
I'm happy to enter this competition, given enough time to build a decent bot. How long do we all have left?
