16 entries.
You can enter one robot per person.
The gimmick is each robot must have interchangeable (Swiss Army) style weapons.
Minimum number of variations is three, maximum number of variations is six.
If you can't AI I will try my best to AI for you, just don't complain about it if your robot doesn't win.
You can't enter until I have received and accepted your robot.

Rule Of Seven Break, Component Freedom, and BFE ONLY are allowed for this, providing that it is for cool looking IRL-ness reasons.
No external editing at all. (With the obvious exception of BFE.)
The IRL packs that Dragonsteincole has been making are allowed.
Robots with tracks get no weight cushion.
No scuttlers, crawlers or walkers.
Multibots are banned.
You can upgrade your robot or send a new one as much as you like until signups end.
I reserve the right to reject robots I don't deem IRL enough or Swiss Army-ish enough.
I also reserve the right to retrospectively reject/accept previously accepted/rejected robots.
The chassis (actual chassis or extender frame chassis) must remain the same through all variations.
If you're using an actual in game chassis, the armour can change, that's IRL enough for me.
Good examples of acceptable robots are:
   - Tornado and Big Nipper from Robot Wars.
   - Bombshell and Razorback from Battlebots.
   - Interplanetary from Cephalopod's showcase.
When sending me the different variations, please name them as A, B, C, D, E, and F.

Fights will be a Best Of 3 match, each of which will last three minutes.
Prior to each round, each competitor should send me the THREE variations they want to use as well as the ORDER to use them in.

Yeah, I basically called dibs on the format when it went inactive, and Guldenflame and HavokMcSplosion were cool with it. Warfare sounds cooler than Training, so I changed the name to that and filled in the gaps with the rest of the setup.

I'd love to enter, but I feel that the system for robot selection feels a bit iffy.  Wouldn't it make more sense to have to have everyone send their variation in mind for the opponent their facing?  Not for each and every single form, as that would bring a dead game unless both entrants luckily choose the exact variant, but just for the main opponent?  Like for example, I pick Solstice flipper for Dominotrix, and you choose Dominotrix hammers for Solstice.  I say this so that people don't have to wait every single match and people can send their picks right out of the gate, (i.e.) what DoT did for RoboGames.

Other than that, yeah, solid tournament idea.  Love to enter.

That works too. Remember you're not sending one variation, you're sending three into each match. I see I'm facing you and think, "Well I'll put out the Single Tooth first, then the Big Hammers out second, and the Ice Picks in the third fight." because that's how the Best Of 3 works.

Looks interesting. May throw something in but can't promise anything. Must say it does seem like this is kinda asking for a repeat of the whole Robogames configs fiasco. Might wanna make the rules on configs very clear before this opens for signups to prevent that.

Gonna try and get this into signups on Sunday evening, that'll be when the poll for how I organise the choosing of setups closes. So far it's looking like you'll be sending me your choices before each fight.

so by dominotrix logic someone can send a HS/Shell Spinner/VS/Axe/Flipper with just different weapons but the same weapon system (aka HS/Shell Spinner/VS/Axe/Flipper)?

If I deem them to be different enough, yeah. A flywheel and a bar are both different spinners. A hammer and an axe are different overhead weapons. Having various spinner setups where the only thing that changes is the teeth is pretty dubious.

Also, I didn't explicitly say anything about it above, but I don't have any issues with you adding defence at the cost of weapons in your various setups. If you think that should be changed then say something quickly.

No external editing at all. (With the obvious exception of BFE.)
OBJRA2?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

For the love of god do NOT use the Robogames system of configs. A single mistake with the configs can completely ruin a run, and that's especially an issue when you haven't even seen how your opponent fights. If (for some ungodly reason) the poll decides that you are using the robogames system, PLEASE make sure that as long as you are given enough notice we are allowed to change configs if we realise we have made a mistake.

Signups open, you can send me your robots whenever you want. You don't have to send a full team straight away, but once you have sent at least three, your spot in the tourney will be secured. If you send one or two to begin, that's cool too, good to get your foot in the door and register some interest, but you will need three to compete.
