If you're still taking requests, may I request ripper? Either Ripper or Infernal Contraption.

About the skinning issue, is it possible to split the shell into separate pieces? Individual parts might be easier to skin well rather than one big part that has loads of corners and curves.
That is what I usually do but it seemed like pointless labour with just Cerberus' head, simply for a pair of eyes.

If anyone is willing to have a bash and they have evidence that they can skin then I will send out the component for you, if I like the outcome then I'll send you the rest of the parts as well as the replica.

Aw yiss

Do you take requests? I'd love to see General Chompsalot in this pack somewhere.

Since this was the first request I got.... here you go mate ;)

I dont think ill ever be as happy with this as I was with Cerberus but I still made an attempt at it. I probably should have done the first version as that was more popular and theres a good amount of photography of it. I thought the Season 2 version would be better as its closer to to Jawbreakers Revenge (personal fav) than the original.

and the real thing:
http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090829214860/robotwars/images/c/c3/General_chompsalot_2.JPG

If you want to see more pictures of it then ask away lads. Until I can get some overhead shots of the top panel and a few decent quality shots of the rear panel, this is the best your going to get.

As for the next replicas, Twn Twrn and Elvis just seem daft to me, I can make a complex model but if its going to be difficult to get the skin to sit in the right placed then I wont bother, sorry lads. Trident and Spawn Again on the other hand yes! I was considering both of them.

So next on the list:

#Spawn Again (S6 version)
#Trident

Any other requests lads?

I would like to make Eruption, Iron Awe 6 and Ripper but for the time being I'm focusing on popular Robot Wars competitors. This is probably the closest you're going to get to a modern replica from me for the time being and it only uses reskinned flipper panels and a skirt hinge burst with added oomph.

I have a not that good rep of king b.

feel free to post a picture and I'll consider sending you the head.  ;)

King B seems too simple bodywise and I don't yet know how to make see through textures. I do not see any point in making Mortis as Wham has already started on it for the pack and I can tell you it looks too damn fine to replace. Atomic on the other hand, the series 7 flipper was the first component I made successfully for the game. It looks okay but to fully make a decent replica I need to create a custom shell which at the moment would be too annoying without decent skills in skinning.

The blocks in the flipper panel is so that when you ram into an opponent and scoop it up, it doesnt end up rolling over the top of Atomic and you can push it towards the arena side wall and using the momentum, flip it out of the arena... much like the real thing infact.

Non of you have actually said what you think of General Chompsalot 2, can I have a few critical opinions first so I can improve it to some degree before I start making another replica?

I posted my thoughts in the Pay Tribute thread, I think it looks awesome.

Atomic's flipper looks sweet as well. Glad to see a true to life Atomic replica in RA2 (God knows my stock version isn't :P).

Also, for requests, how about Grim Reaper (Series 7 edition)? Always loved that robot.

Love GC2 and Atomic. It'd be a shame if Wham didn't contact you to help him with his pack.

I'd personally like to see T2, Wheelosaurus or Pitbull.

I love Atomic. Nice one on that.
I have made an amateur replica of Eruption. I'll try and get a few pics uploaded if you want.
