Red Zone Arena

My Lumazone reskin/tweak. The spikes are tougher and a lot more powerful, the central zone is a gentler slope, and it's now bordered with flamers. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Battle Royals.

Things to do in the future - Make it possible to flip out of the arena.
(That'd also help with my latest project - Converting the Hilltop Arena into an arena for Tabletop matches.)

Thanks guys. Did get praise from Madiaba for textures before when he helped debug GMF and PY file problems, but I thought that was just personal taste.

He'll make it shine, Red.  He's real good.
Input is appreciated. :)
-Arrogance is a quantity devoid of quality...
-As a client once told me "This is my story, and it's sticking to me!"
-Relationships these days are like the 'Arrival' section of the airport: a lot of baggage is being revealed in one place, and not a lot of it is being correlated to its real owners...

Glad to hear he's good at something now. ^^

It's okay, I wasn't really a great bot-builder like a lot of the people on here and on the original forums.  I usually played around with rebuilding the original RA2 AI robots over and over again, trying to improve them.  (I still have all of the ones I rebuilt, using EVERY part that came with the original game, including the cheatbot and AI parts.)

As for reskinning things, one of my accomplishments was redoing a ramplate skin pack consisting of over 100+ different skins - all 50 states, plus Mexico, Canada, and a bunch of vanity and movie-car plates.  I was also the "dermatologist" on the DSL Garage, and helped provide input on various technical and testing of several arena ideas and bot-packs, such as Starcorev3 and v4. (Admittedly, I have d/l'd RA2GE, but have not had any time to even unzip the damn file ....)

Bump for newbies

I'm guessing we'll never see a flip out version of this arena? I hope that we do see one... *hint hint*.

I tried many months ago but that was when I was an arena editing novice.. I might try it some time when I have the time

the problem is infogames cut corners.. the collision is an octagonal prism so new wall collisions would have to be made and that prism flattened to become the floor only

But ofcourse.

@ Joe/S32: Yeah, I tried myself but couldn't get anywhere with it. It's a shame.
