Blender GMF utilities
« on: May 11, 2014, 04:21:04 PM »
So, hi. Just decided to pop by again. How are you guys doing?

Just testing the waters here and not promising anything - would there be interest in GMF export/import utilities for Blender? I need a weekend project.

Hey Serge, good to see you.

I believe people have actually asked for a utility such as the one you mentioned, so it wouldn't go to waste should you fancy trying it out :)

I forget who it was, but someone was asking about if this could be done recently.

It was actually in this post https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=16023 in the chatbox I was just messing around with rendering stuff

Buuuut yeah even just the export would make custom components so much more user friendly and better

I think many people would like an alternative to using complicated-at-times 3DSM. I think if we can get blender to work for that purpose, we would see a huge spark in custom components, and maybe even arenas! If you need any assistance (I use blender on a semi-regular basis for other things) I'm willing to help out.
Man this needed an update. Anyways, Your local autistic idiot signing out.
