this is awesome! does it work with dsl? i just made a request for something like this to happen in the next version.

i want this sooo bad! would you consider making one for dsl at all if this isnt compatible? this is a dream come true!

edit: AND a guide marker on the end of extenders so i know how far i've rotated them?? holy sh**! pinch me

Nice, I didn't know that it was possible to put a simple line like that on top of the extender, that will make rotating them a lot easier.(unless you used a edited version with different texture mapping). It's been years but what did you mean by putting maps on the mace? Was all done via different effects/GMF colors and not texture color before?

You can either specific a color by hex code in the gmf or have it so it takes it from a .bmp. I just added a .bmp reference texture for both the center of the mace and the tips so all I had to do was change the name of the .bmp in the complied .gmf with Notepad++. Obviously it isn't hard to have a decompiled .gmf of a mace and just change the hexcode and recompile but I liked doing it that way more.

The line on the extender was something Sage did years ago, so I just stole """borrowed""" the .gmf with the map and used it.

I probably should go back through all the old things and change the shine colors and stuff in the .gmf to make them look better, but eh.

Oh I see, was the texture mapping changed for this or was it just a "try and error" until you got the line where you wanted it to be? Making a full line would definitely be interesting(another thing I'd like to try out is add a mesh that's only visible in botlab so there's no visible differences at all), if it isn't possible because of how the texture is mapped, I'd love to change the mapping once Serge releases first versions of his Blender RA2 suite(if that gets created that is)
