Click? didn`t you say we are able to import our DSL3 Beta builds into 2.2? I tried that and the game crashed. :)
Bots made in the DSL3 beta are trickier. I'm working on a program that will automatically update these bots, but in the meantime, here's what you need to do:- Open the .bot file in Notepad++ or another program that can edit .bot files without corrupting them.- Replace all instances of "Extenders_X_R" with "Extenders_X_S" where X is A, T, or S.- Replace all instances of "extenders_x.txt" with "extenders_x_S.txt" where x is alu, tit, or steel.- Add "mini" to the end of every anchor filename (for instance, anchor1.txt -> anchor1mini.txt).- Reverse your bot's driving controls (they should go back to the "normal" way you use in stock)- NPC motors need to be replaced manually in the bot lab.

The file is called icewave.wav because it's an actual recording of Icewave's engine I got from a Youtube video. You have no idea how hard it is to find a gas engine sound effect that sounds good in RA2.Will I ever make an Icewave replica, you're all thinking now? Perhaps, perhaps... but that would fall under the "far future plans" category.

i can't add a saw blade to my bot if any part of the weapon is outside of the bot.(Image removed from quote.)is this intentional? seems strange that i can only add a saw blade to the inside of the bot, where it won't do any damage.
It's because between DSL 2.1 and DSL 2.2 there was a new sawblade model used and it's collision name in the .gmf file is different and Clickbeetle didn't update the .txt file's passthru. To fix it, Go into your DSL 2.2 folder, then the components folder and find "dslsawblade1.txt" and open it with notepad. You should see a part that says "passthru = saw_collision". Change it to "passthru = sawblade_collision" and save the file. Then go into the Styles folder within the Components folder and do the same thing for sawblade2.txt, sawblade3.txt, sawblade4.txt, and sawblade5.txt
a few others don't load the AI which leads to crashes after a few seconds.
Maybe because you must've modded the game so it wouldn't crash yourself? Even tried to download the patch, still crashes.

Are you running it windowed or fullscreened?2. Are you running it with or without compatibility mode?3. Where is your RA2 folder located, some people have had problems in the past if it is actually in their program files folder instead of some place like the desktop or documents.4. Are you Alt Tabbing out of the game?
