Absolute favorite has to be Scizor, followed by Volcarona, Umbreon and Ursaring.

i'll just list my favorite grass types here

Venusaur : also known as Smugasaur. Manliest grass type, have you seen his swagger ?
Victreebel : I just like it, mostly due to heavy use on my part. It's a flycatcher. Also it devours stuff.
Parasect : it's a insect/fungi parasitoid, just for that reason. also it has some dope moves as a support party member.
Cacturne : I mostly like it for badass fluff and it's looks. Also i'm not too fond of dark types in general, with some exceptions such as Tyranitar, but Grass/Dark is a nice typing.
Cradily: A ROCK/Grass which makes it instantly more awesome. Also it has nice stalling potential, some good moves, and more importantly it's a crinoid, which gives him points to me.

i think chesnaught and torterra look pretty good as well. but i have zero experience with them so can't judge.

Torterra is quite cool. Ground grass typing is aweseome as well... until you feel the ice

Cradily's very underrated from what I understand complete with a good type combination and intresting moves.

Some of my favourite grass types are Serperior, Ferrothorn, Torterra for nostalgia reasons, and Trevenant.

Sure, but x and y was just before I started EV training, so my team WILL suck.

I was hoping you'd say blaziken so I could go "hurr durr anthropomorphic ninja chicken ur a furry" but whatever, fuqqit.

I'll post mine:

Grovyle: Not sceptile, because sceptile is just grovyle as a heroin addict- grovyle was my go-to dood for much of Emerald. Easily my favorite.
Scyther: How could you not like scyther? Gives venasaur a run for its money for manly pokemon imo. Would be my all-time favorite if grovyle didn't exist.
Serperior: yeah yeah, say what you want about this gen and this pokemon- Serperior has that scoff. Serperior looks down on every pokemon, even those larger than it. Serperior's got that "you aren't even worth fighting" attitude. Serperior seriously doesn't care what you think.
Venusaur: Somebody ordered a grass metagross?
Shiftry: Does a damn good job at trying to be as cool as grovyle.

honorable mentions: Cradily, for being unexpectedly tough, Trevenant, because I don't know much about it other than it's pretty awesome looking and both of Lotad's evolutions + Amoongus, because I wouldn't let a cool pokemon cast its shadow over a hilarious one.

we could just do it on showdown. easier to organize and means everyone's on the same level with pokemon quality.
