I'm really digging the beta.

Just about every character is fun to play and unique

I'll try this when I get back from the RW Live event in Manchester.

Just asking, is it at all similar to TF2? And if so, how similar?

Hm? Manchester? That was like 2 weeks ago :P

It's kinda like TF2 in pacing and the whole objective thing. Bit less cartoony, and instead of different loadouts for each character you just have different characters.

Sounds interesting! And I meant Portsmouth, sorry.

Got more time to spend on other characters besides Zenyatta now. Still super fun.

Keep back at a range where you can stay alive because your mobility is too awful to handle 1v1s. Ideally pick a large group and stick with them, and keep to using your debuff at long range and harass large enemies. Zenyatta's damage output isn't actually that bad and he's quite accurate but in close 1v1s he's really awful, so stick to those longer ranges. Always keep healing someone and stay in a range where you can support as many different units as possible.

We've got a small group of players on the Garry's Wars discord if anyone is interested playing with GTM members.

Is anyone still playing this? I'm stuck on xbone because my laptop isn't strong enough. I need a few people to play with, I can't keep dealing with the lack of teamwork.

pc here sorry bud

OW baffles me on how bad the teamwork is most of the time. And I come from TF2. It's not even that the people are mechanically bad, like they're good shots, they just seem incapable of making intelligent decisions in regards to attacking, defending, pushing, etc.

honestly this video puts it pretty good

PC here also.
I love this game but yeah, it's amazing how a team can lack any form of support and nobody will switch to it. I feel like I'm the only player who actually switches when our team comp is wrong.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

i don't think it's even always a matter of team comp in technical terms, sometimes people just never realise that sometimes you need some more people on the backline. i play zenyatta and zarya primarily and I am pretty sick of dickhead genjis and hanzos pratting about in the frontline getting nothing done vs a bunch of tanks and then nobody protecting the backline from tracers and so on.

I had fun with lucioball for approximately 30 seconds and just couldn't take any more

Oh, hey, I play this game! Please excuse the dirty sub-rank-50 Reaper player (although I never get to play him because I have to fill for support or tank every game) sitting in the corner atoning for his sins.
