Hi guys, just wondering if you could inform this newbie what an IRL robot is (I know it stands for 'in real life'), and how it differs from a "standard" robot, or other categories of robot building? I want to make an IRL robot in ironforge but I have no idea how to start until I know exactly what it entails.

IRL bot is made to look as realistic as possible
Standard are bots made to be as efficient as possible

I was hoping for more in depth information to be honest... like, are there certain rules for IRL building to restrict things that are common to standard bots, etc.

DSL-S bots are made to be as effective as possible, these are like the combats bots you see in real life but more over the top (weapons, weapons everywhere) and IRL bots are made to look as cool and badass as possible but you need to make sure that they are entirely like real life unlike DSL-S where reality is ditched to make it more efficient. unrealistic is balls to the wall weapons everywhere on your bot and utilises a load of glitches i dont even know how to use.
in summary; DSL-S= The airiyan race of robots led by the tornado team mecha hitler
IRL= my robot cant fight for shiz but damn is it cool lookin
Unrealistic= laws of physics? WHAT ARE THOSE?!
Hope that you found this helpful =)
p.s. sorry i made a tornado joke, WEDGEBOTS ARE THE TRUE STATIC WEAPON USERS!!

1) Unrealistic (Most popular in: Stock)
BFE (Bot File Editing) can be outlawed here, but if used for something like stacking can be overlooked.

I actually don't know why that's there. I'll edit that bit out when I get around a computer. AS could've told me that when I posted it though :P
