Please guys I'm trying to change the speed and drive of my Fluffy (DSL3) & Splinter (DSL3) but whenever I rename the txt.file to "twm3rfluffy" and "twm3rsplinter" neither works as I changed the drive speeds of both bots and they just stay the same speed as before, it would be really helpful if anyone can help me please.

what do you mean by "neither works"
do they crash the game?
you cant just overwrite the existing motors by making new txts so if thats your issue you need to actually use the new motors youve made

I told you in PMs, you need to learn how to bot file edit and to duplicate components.  It's much easier for you to just learn the techniques than to have someone (not gonna be me, btw) try to talk you through that one specific thing.

What I mean is once I've copied the txt file and then renamed it to for instance "twm3rfluffy" it doesn't change the speed as I've been trying to change the power several times but it remains the same drive as before.

Just change the values of the speed of the file

I basically copied the txt file then renamed it and after that I changed the power and it just stayed same speed as before.

Okay then guys, sorry I've not been letting you all know about whether or not what you've all told me works but here are some videos which I posted on my YouTube channel to give you all some prime examples of their drive speeds like for Splinter (DSL3) needs its drive speed made a little more faster same for Fluffy (DSL3) and lastly Infinity UK needs it's speed turning down. I tried making copies of their components using Notepad as well as renaming them in order to try and getting them to meet with the particular component inside the bot but sadly nothing has worked, if anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Splinter (DSL3):
Fluffy (DSL3):
Infinity UK:

Yes, I've been copying components like their drive motor components and renaming them like for Splinter I renamed the copied txt file to "twm3rsplinter" and nothing worked.

once you make a new component txt you then need to find that component in the botlab and place it inside your robot. simply making a new txt will not upgrade the bot's drive.

Thanks but I'm just abit worried about removing the skinned component such as Infinity's wheels are skinned components (I think) and I want Infinity to have smiliar skinned wheels as before.

get notepad++ and go into the bot file with it. where it says twm3r replace it with your components
