Title: Saved bots don't appear in the Robot Designs folder
Post by: Cloudworxz on July 18, 2015, 03:15:22 PM: I imported a bunch of bots I made in DSL 2.1, but when I checked the Robot Designs folder it said they would be in, they weren't there.

However, exporting them in game works perfectly fine.

Any way to fix this?

Post by: rnifnuf on July 18, 2015, 03:36:36 PM: I assume you installed RA2 from CD because I did this as well and I had the exact same problem. For some unknown reason, the exported bots went down this path for me:

C:/Users/Family/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Infogrames/Robot Arena 2/Robot Designs

If it is not this exact path for you, start at the AppData folder and continue from there. I have no clue why it does this; as Naryar said,

The folder isn't read-only, and I just enabled the viewing of hidden files. It made no difference.

I downloaded Robot Arena 2 from this website with DSL 2.1 pre-installed.

I even discovered an old bot I made the day I got this game. Thought I lost it.
