If I download this https://gametechmods.com/forums/downloads/?sa=view;down=4 with it delete all my robots in my robot designs file? or will it be a completely different file to my original game?

no, thats the standalone game, just drag and drop the folder inside and there you go, it will not have your other bots.

it shouldn't overwrite your bots, no. If you're paranoid about it you can always keep a copy of them in a different folder
