Title: Odd Bot Select Problem.
Post by: Pressure on February 06, 2010, 10:07:32 PM: Here's the problem. I build a bot, and go to test in exhibition mode. Selecting the bot i want to test doesn't work, it decides to load up either a blank splash thingy which crashes the game, or it loads another bot on another team, which sometimes crashes the game. It decided to start doing this yesterday for no apparent reason, and no apparent cause.

kinda like when my game randomly stopped loading the arenas into exhibition death-match :P

I would export everything and reinstall/ re extract if your using a clean RTR copy

Just go and check if the bots are correctly placed, and if Teams.txt is correctly written and not damaged.

example... 6 robots in the teams text and only 4 bot files in the folder

I just made another team and it went away though....

I did a bit of cleanup and deleted a team or two.

then I am almost certain that you deleted a team but didnt change the teams txt according.

Post by: russian roulette on February 08, 2010, 05:55:58 AM: I completely know what he is talking about, you need to delete ALL teams (Save the robots), then just remake the teams in RA2 with the bots you saved then it should work. This should get stickied.
