Title: GMF Compiler give "runtime error"
Post by: Resetti's Replicas on November 26, 2010, 06:28:45 PM
I'm trying to recompile the RW arena after scaling everything down, but I get an error, "Runtime Error '9' Subscript out of range."

All I did was change the numbers like Click instructed in  my thread "Scale down an entire arena."  At first I thought it was because I had an extra empty line, but I kept getting the same error even after I corrected that.

Anyone know what to do?

What compiler are you using?

He's using either dummee's or FB's or the odl version of mine. You can try using the compiler that is in my signature.

Yes, it is dummy's version, the one that says "fixed by Mebabyte"

So the one fixed by me a long time ago :P.

Try my new compiler, in my sig. It will more-or-less give you the line at which the compiler failed.

The Robot Wars arena is hard to work with.  I couldn't get it to compile with Dummy's OR Serge's compiler.

You might have better luck than I did if you replace all "*USE FAR ATTENUATION" with "*USE FAR ATTENUATION =".  I just found out about that from Trovaner.
