Title: Game "quits responding" when...
Post by: bombebomb on December 23, 2006, 12:57:53 PM
This is both a DSL 2.0 and the regular game that is doing this.  I have just installed the game for the first time in a year or more.  I go to team hq, pick a team then it just says loading for a very long time (I tryed it overnite even)  It also does this when I try to play exhibition.  I have patch 1.2, I have reinstalled and repatched a couple times.  I have the CD version of the game.

computer specs are
Windows xp media center
250gb sata HD
athlon 64 3500+
Radeon x700 pro video card
1.5gb pc3200 ram

Yeah I'm thinking that too. Maybe it is because the RA2 isn't designed for 64-bit processors.

But I would like to hear someone else's opinion who has 64-bit processor also.

No, because I have a 64 bit processor and mine works.

AMD 4800+ dual core/ 2 Seagate 200GB SATA RAID 0
4 GB Ultra PC3200/ ATI X1900 XT/ ASUS MB/ WD 120 GB IDE

Also my 64 bit does both 32 and 64 bit processing.

This might help you guys, the music on start up, its not there.  There is no music.  when a click on team hq or something it will make the beep noise or whatever telling you, you hit the button.
