I just edited the Bindings and Teams files to add my 28th team (Team27 as folder name) but then DSL refused to progress past the first picture it shows as it loads.
I deleted the new team and went back to 27 teams (Team0 - Team26) and tried again, and it worked, loaded and I was playing it.
Then I had another go at creating the extra team and it refuses to load again.
Any ideas on what could be going on guys?

No Nary, i have 55 teams and it still works, have you indexed all the teams properly?

Update.
I got a fresh DSL and did some changes to the AI folders and got rid of all the robots that come with the game and put in the 6 teams I brought across and it was fine, worked properly.
I add Team6 (7th team) and I have the same problem.

0That is what I added to the Teams file, I copied the last team index and changed the name and motto.

Just so you guys know, there is NO limit to how many teams you can have. My copy of stock has ~150 AI teams in it and IIRC Nar AI has something like 130.
BTW, your example is missing the very last 0. The last few lines should look like this:

Mmkay, I can access the game and do exhibition battles fine now, but the game crashes whenever I try to go into a team of my own.
