Title: Concerning Firebeetle's Component pack v5.1
Post by: Ryanblaze on November 18, 2011, 01:15:40 AM
Does anyone have the patch that fixes the laser rifles? The laser rifles do not shoot in-game; they only shoot at the trophy screen or at the editing area, except for the "Test Robot" place.

Here is a link to the component pack:  http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/robotarena.htm (http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/robotarena.htm)

The reason why I need a patch is because I think the solution is here: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/robotarena.htm (http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/robotarena.htm)

Note "Download (5.1 laser patch only, 2 KB)"

Unfortunately, when the download page is a dead link. :/ I was just wondering if anyone had downloaded the file before the link died and if you have it, please upload it for me.

You need to put in an air pack

Wait, do you mean an air canister, etc?

He means air tank. It needs air. Just from the in game screen. Also in the component description in game...

It's a blue cylinder.
Flamethrowers, cannons, pistons, linear actuators, and hovercrafts require air.

The laser patch is included with the main download now (has been for several years, actually).

If the laser doesn't fire it's either because you don't have air tanks, or the arena you are in is too bright and you can't see the beam.
