I got right back into Tony Hawk's Underground. I wanted to discuss the pure liquid nostalgia this series is, and also how utterly broken THPS 5 is.
Recently I bought a PS2 controller (off-brand ORB one, dodgy but works), and immediately jogged home and got to work playing THUG. Sweet jesus was this game well made!
Anyone else remember this series or am I alone with fools who do not know the best thing to ever happen to skating?

I don't know much about Tony Hawk, other than that game recently made. Falling through the floor madness!
-
I only have the original ps1 Tony Hawk... Does that count?

2/2 Advance/3/4/4 Advance/Underground/Project 8/Proving Grounds here. Should nooooot have got PG on the Wii. Body checking requiring thrusting the remote/nunchuck forward with a required mission and very poor detection. Only game I got I never completed.
But yeah, Underground was sweet.

Fun fact, the only thing on the pro skater 5 disc is the demo. Activision lost the rights to the series 1 day after they released the game, so they had no time to delay the release. So they just put the demo on the disc and finished the rest of the game in the 2ish weeks between printing the discs and releasing the game. So you need to dl a >7GB 'patch' to play. This patch is you literally just downloading the game.

So that's the reason behind it? Christ

At least Robomodo (dev of THPSHD and THPS5) are trying to fix the game.

Originally wasn't going to reply because I don't know much about the game series, one friend has told me about it and how bad the new(I do think it was the most recent game) game with that 7GB patch is(and no I didn't watch that video it was a different one which showed so many differences from the old ones) Looks like a fun game series which sadly just stopped having development and now return's with today's "release the alpha as finished product" games.

If anyone is looking for a ACTUAL new Tony Hawk's game, buy a copy of THUG2 on the PC and download the THUGPRO mod. I'm gonna look into it as it seems brilliant.
